Honestly the worst experience I have ever had. The quote you up front and their quote is low to reasonable. They take an initial payment to start the process. They come in to move your items and up charge significantly but do so after all items are almost loaded. They were provided our new address up front mind you. So when they advise the delivery will occur they advise they will have to increase by 2k because they cannot get down the street that they have known about since the initial quote. I was told at the time they were dropping things off I would be charged $75 each stair above 7 steps. We gave up and just said put it all down stairs. They advised they would have to charge more to put the items together and even told me they couldn't put together a child's bed. Overall they increased the amount over and over, advised they would not give us our items if we did not pay cash or Zelle up front for delivery. When I told them Zelle wouldn't let me send anymore for the time being they were going to leave with our items. Which they would have had to come back and that would have been another 2k increase. We had damaged items. Fees upon hidden fees. The men for drop off were so incredibly disrespectful. I understand different cultures treat women differently. But to be regarded as nothing when attempting to address things and having to have a male family member step in to address was disgusting. I had multiple items damaged. Multiple items missing. If anyone I know attempts to use this company I will do anything I can to try to talk them out of it. Worst customer service. No attempt at respect. No accountability read more

This company picked up our belongings on 7/23 and promised to deliver within 10 days. It's now 10/12 and they have never delivered anything. We call and they say it's because of a hurricane, or because their truck broke down. Our experience mirrors a lot of others on Yelp. We can only get the reservations line or a customer service voicemail. We gather that this company pays fake reviewers to say they deliver items, when in reality they just take people's money and their stuff disappears forever. Don't hire this company! read more

I over paid the moving company by $2000 due to a banking error. I asked my bank to cancel a Zelle payment they had put a hold on. They told me it was canceled and wouldn't go through. Unfortunately it did go through the next day so I overpaid them by $2000. I called MoveUs Pro to get a refund of the extra money and I was told that there was no paperwork from the delivery drivers and they can't refund me without it. It's been two months now since they delivered my furniture so that paperwork isn't going to show up. Basically they sent two criminals to my house who disappeared with all the money I gave them. They then told me I have to file a report with the department of transportation in order to somehow get that paperwork in order to ever get refunded. I don't know who these delivery drivers are. I did business with MoveUS Pro. They should be held responsible for their own drivers. I proposed we solve it right away based on what they know I paid. They can see the Zelle payments, my down payment, and I sent them pictures of the $4000 in money orders I gave the drivers. They refused saying they could do nothing without the paperwork. This company is a scam. Their original price quote to me was less than $9000. When they came to pick up my belongings it went to over $10,000, Then when they delivered it it went up another $2000. I paid all that in full. I just want the additional $2000 back. read more

This company is a scam. From the very beginning to the end they lie to you. I am gonna call their full names so you know I am legit. Do your research before even thinking about these people. If I had time, I would put them out of business. They come up with all different ways to charge you top dollar for their shitty service. They charge you $10 for every stairstep despite they said no charge when they sold me the service. They charge you $450 for a shuttle because they deliver your stuff in an 18 wheeler so obviously that shit wont fit through any street hence you need to put extra for shuttle. They take your stuff hostage until you pay upfront. They take for ever to deliver your stuff, with no update about where your stuff are. They simply outsource the transportation to a different company so you are on your own. When they picked up my stuff, they intentionally left out of items from the list so they can steal it. My bed frame is stolen. They damage and break your stuff and never take responsibility. Our uplift standing desk 2 inch walnut top is broken into half. I mean what the hell. To file a claim with them requires more documentations and paperwork than applying for US green card. Their customer service does not exist. They are simply puppets. There is no manager to escalate issues. They don't even give you their full name. Run away. Do not give your items to these people. I cant believe I finally got my stuff delivered. Michele Wright, the sales person, lied about the moving cost estimate. Left out the shuttle+stairs (Extra $800) Dana, customer service, is a useless puppet. We don't even know their full name. Costantine, the pick up guy, did not list my bed frame. I mean I paid him and his crew $150 tips. read more

Do NOT hire this company - it is a SCAM. I had the worst moving experience ever. I was charged DOUBLED (literally) compared to what I was quoted originally. The original quote was for $3,000 and they ended up charging $6,200 for a 550 sq.ft. apartment. Note that the items I gave them for the quote where the ones they picked up. The day of the move they came and told me my charge was going to be double. They knew I had no options so I had to agree. They took three weeks to deliver and added a lot of extra charges. My wardrobe arrived completely destroyed, my bed was not assembled because they lost the components, and my bed frame was damaged. Also the boxes where damaged too that impacted what was inside. They left a mess in my apartment when they delivered, everything was all over the place including the trash. Customer service takes a really long time to get a hold and they don't call back unless you keep calling until they finally answer. Also they don't reply to your emails. They give you little to no notice for delivery and if you are not able to receive they charge you $650 per night. I had no idea where my things where for the entire three weeks and it was very stressful to have no communication on it. I was really stressed out as they have your things hostage unless you pay all the added charges and I was unable to sleep for the entire time of my move. I do NOT recommend this company, you are better off moving by yourself! read more

Move Us are the best! I was really impressed with the quality of the work. Worried about my antique furniture, pictures, fine china, but everything was wrapped safe, nothing was damaged. Guys wrapped all the furniture to avoid scratches, disassambled washer and dryer, and they worked really fast. I couldn't even imagine such a smooth move from California to Tennessee, bc moving is always a huge stress. Great work, reasonable pricing, Jack and his people really care. Highly recommended. read more

We feel pretty awful about our experience with this co. Made a deposit and was declined to return it even though we had no services rendered. We live on a social security check and think because of the reason we cancelled that we should have gotten at least something back. Basically when I could talk to someone it was like sorry lady you signed a contract. I think it is unconscionable what was done to us and I wouldn't recommend this co to anyone. It was an expensive mistake for us for sure. read more

I wish I could give them a 0 star review. PLEASE READ THESE REVIEWS & Do not send these people any money. I booked my move with this company a month ago. Today is the day they were supposed to pick up my things to move them. They are not here. They have not called me like they said they would. I've been the one calling them non stop and now they are ignoring me and my husbands calls. After reading all these other reviews I have decided to call another company and hope they can move me in the time I need to be moved. This is a SCAM!! They took my $560 deposit, never contacted me after, and now are ignoring my calls on the day of the move. read more

They estimated 3.8k from Cali to Colorado, when loading me up 5/31/22 it went up to 5.3k I got charged to two flights of steps ( the "second flight was 3 steps ) they do really well on packing and securing from the looks. They also told me 3-5 days originally. Now it's 1-4 weeks, I get there 5/2/22 so none of my stuff for weeks. And if you move out of state they lacked to tell me my load would be put into an 18 wheeler ( semi truck ) and if the location cannot support the 18 wheeler there would be an additional fee to move it again into a shuttle.. to many underlying things not said. I don't believe the price is that bad but my issue so far is lack of communication until 3 days prior. Almost no answers. This is part one and I hope I have better things to say on the delivery. This email was sent in August 2022 to Natalie R. Customer Care Manager of MoveUS; and I didn't receive any reply from her; so I decided it was time to enter this negative review and warn others not to use MoveUS. You can also read another negative review that my husband Paul C. left a few months ago. Hi Natalie, You know our story and why the reviews were not positive. I haven't even posted all of my negative reviews yet. You mentioned that MoveUS wanted to make this right. Well your company made promises that they couldn't keep that resulted in losing items and our money that we should not have had to spend if the "Move" was done in the proper manner the first time. So let's start there. Your company's staff and their movers were not prepared with the right size truck when they came to our home in Ashburn, Virginia to move us. They even admitted to us that the Ryder Truck was way too small; and that about 1/2 of our stuff would fit in it. That is when they suggested we sign another part of the contract giving them the ok to bring another truck the next day and charge us about the same amount again. We were not going to pay twice the amount (Over $13,000) plus a gas charge from Baltimore, Maryland, when your company made the mistakes. That is when my husband and a helper had to take a day off work the next day and fly up to Virginia from Florida, rent a Uhaul, load the items themselves that didn't fit in your company's small Ryder truck, and then drive it down themselves in 1 day, and unload it themselves. (some confidential information was emailed privately to MoveUS; and what you are seeing in this message has been condensed) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Costs we should get reimbursed for: So to make this right, we would like to get compensated for the time, item comparable costs, and effort our family went through due to choosing Move US. Itemized list plus other items listed on the original list given to MoveUS: Plane Tickets: My husband's $252.60 , Helper's Ticket $202.60 Uhaul Cost: $1,188.00 Uhaul Gas: $500.00 Loading Uhaul Labor Cost Equivalent (My husband and his helper): $400.00 Time off work: (My husband $700.00 per day, Helper $500.00 per day) Unloading Uhaul Labor Cost Equivalent (Husband & Helper): $400.00 Total Gym XLS: $1,099.50 Underdesk Scoop: $149.00 Xiser (stepper): $399.00 Xiser Duffle: $34.00 Cellerciser: $739.00 Rebound monitor: $139.00 Shredder: $50.00 Desk: $300.00 Plants: $100.00 Wood Table: $100.00 Tools: $75.00 Cash at Delivery Time in Florida: $425.00 Natalie, even my sealed Wedding Gown Box was opened, and the veil was put in a different box. Now I know that people were going through our personal items while in storage for several weeks in Baltimore, Maryland. What else are we missing? How about all my business documents? Did someone go through those very confidential documents too? At the very least, please have your company reimburse us. Please total up the itemized list and reply with the total confirmed that your company will be reimbursing us. If your company feels like they should also compensate us for the trouble, stress and even having to drive the Uhaul 900 miles, it would be a fair gesture for them to include an extra $5,000; since our helper had to leave his pregnant (7 months) fiance with her young child to help my husband fly up to Virginia to load and drive the 2nd truck full of items to our new home 900 or more miles away in Florida, then unload it. After we receive our certified business reimbursement check and it clears, we will remove the negative comments posted online, and we will refrain from posting any additional comments, contacting the BBB, and halt anymore discussions with our attorney concerning this matter. Please let me know if MoveUs will agree to our terms. Thank you, Nancy C. read more

Move US increased my charge by $2000 after they had already picked up and fully loaded my belongings. I was given no revised estimate, despite me calling multiple times to discuss it, and generally could never reach their team for help or updates. For my move I was low balled on a quote and then given a verbal commitment for a shorter timeline so that I would agree to work with them. Once that was done, not only did my move take the full amount of time allowed in the contract (4x their verbal quote), but I was also assessed for every type of fee that their contract allows them to charge. I even spent time on the phone with their team who said that their quote prices rarely ever change, and never by much.I've moved more than 10 times and never had an experience this terrible. read more

Writing this experience on behalf of my family. Never have I heard of such a horrendous moving experience. The movers came hours late to the apartment in New York, without any room left in the truck to house my sisters furniture. They then proceeded to throw other people's furniture up and on top, even tried to put my sisters furniture on the lift gate that's attached outside. Completely unsafe. Furthermore, they wouldn't physically carry any of the boxes. They would slide them down the stairs without even asking what was inside. After speaking to them they finally proceeded to carry said items down the stairs. To top this off, they also stated they usually do not move any IKEA furniture. They wouldn't use tarps to cover furniture, would pile stuff up to the ceiling, and literally threw chairs on top to squeeze as much stuff as possible. Also, they gave us two huge boxes filled with somebody else's clothing. Just be aware that the movers are bunch of dispatchers who are hiring subcontractors and you never know who you are going to get. Our family has been using moving companies for a number of occasions, but never have we seen such unorganized chaos and disrespect for others people's belongings. read more

It's a scam to make money! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They took 6 months to actually complete the delivery. This company has ruined my life! They picked up my belongings from Memphis, TN on June 27, 2018 with an delivery date to California for July 7, 2018. Today is August 13, 2018. Not only have they NEVER delivered ANYTHING, but the customer service is abysmal! The customer representatives hang up on me when I call. The "Dispatch Supervisor" Israel, lies about the status of my delivery making promise after promise that my items are en route, should be coming any day now, just slightly delayed, will be delivered within the contracted time, Oops sorry can't reach the driver, I am sure the driver will call this evening. Oh what? The items haven't been delivered yet? Oh no! Let me check! etc. etc. etc. They DO NOT return phone calls except when they are initially trying to sign you up. After that? Forget it! Don't be a dummy like me. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I have lost priceless family heirlooms, irreplaceable items (wedding dress and family photos), everything I own, and even MOST of the shirts on my back. All for what? This wasn't even a cheap company to retain. I went with them simply because they assured me that they own their own trucks and can control when and where they go. Big surprise, then, when the company miraculously seems to have LOST, DESTROYED, or ABANDONED all of my belongings. So where does this leave me? Well, let me tell you. I am alone with two small dogs (one of which is on medication) with only enough clothes to last me 5 days at a time, 3 towels (I bought two since being here), not ONE SINGLE PLATE OR CUP, no bed linens, three pairs of shoes, and NO COMPENSATION OR WORD from this f*cked up business about why my things are missing, where they are, when I will receive them, and/or what compensation they are willing to offer. I have EASILY lost an excess of $75,000 worth of belongings and have been displaced by an additional $3,000 in costs due to their UNIMAGINABLE incompetence and unprofessionalism. Truly, I am a reasonable woman. A little honest communication goes a long way. But this company seems to be incapable or morally opposed to that. Which leave me with just this: A Warning to you and anyone else who may read this. I may be screwed. I may have lost everything I own. But you do not have to. Do yourself and your family a favor, RUN!! RUN FAR AND RUN FAST away from this company. You deserve better. I deserved better. We all deserve better and this company deserves to be CLOSED. I would hate for ANYONE else to have to go through the stress that this entire situation has put me through. I expect more from a business. Honestly, I just expect more from normal decent people in general. But alas, I guess that is too much to expect from a company like this. Do better Move Us and FIND BETTER (literally almost ANY other company would be better) potential customers. read more

Bottom line DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I don't even know where to begin on how bad of a experience we've had with our cross country move. Namely broken pieces of furniture. I have to go to Home Depot to replace the bolts of things they took apart. I can go on and on but I'm really not one to put out negative reviews. I just feel the need to inform people to take their business elsewhere even it costs a tad more. read more

DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY!!! This was by far the worst experience I have ever encountered with a moving company. Although my experience with the customer service agent named Michael was pleasant, after receiving payment all the friendliness ended. My move was scheduled for one day for an in-state move in Georgia and it was supposed to begin at 8 am. All my items were professionally packed prior to the mover's arrival excluding my bed and two televisions. When the movers arrived they seemed professional and courteous. However, after they loaded all my belonging on the truck, the movers stated they wanted to take my belongings with them to Charlotte, North Caroline to complete another job there then bring my items back to Georgia. When I told the movers no, they became upset with me and stated that it was going to take them longer to complete all their jobs. Additionally, they stated they wanted me to pay them cash for the remaining move because they were unable to accept any other form of payment which was false information. After I refused to provide them with cash and asked them to take my items off their truck, they were able to complete the payment method already on file. When my items finally made it to the town I moved to at 6 pm, the movers began to load my items in my storage unit. As they were loading my items in, they broke several items, placed boxes labeled fragile or do not stack upside down, just threw them in the unit or stack other items on top. They even placed several heavy boxes on top of a laser printer. So many of my items are now broken or damaged. Some of the damaged items may be salvageable, but my bed rails that the movers cracked have to be replaced (hopefully). After accessing the damage, I tried to contact the moving company every day for a month (and counting) to rectify the situation. To this day, all my calls are sent to voicemail and never returned, I even attempted to call from unmarked numbers and still have not spoken to anyone about the poor quality move I receive or discuss the damage my items received. This company is not reputable, do not waste your time, money, or risk permanent damage to your possessions. read more

My experience with this company was awful. They lied and wanted to charge me double from the estimate. Because they didn't put everything down correctly on the list. We had a very bad experience with these people. First they underestimated the amount of space they would need and try to charge us double when they picked up our furniture. When they delivered it at the other end they decided that we needed to pay an extra $400 because of an extra flight of steps. When we didn't have any cash we asked him to carry it as far as they could and then we would carry it the rest of the way and then they could just come upstairs and put it together. Instead they threw it on the curb and drove off. They did not put anything together did not meet contract. When I tried to call them afterwards they wouldn't answer. They would only put me through to dispatch and would not let me talk to the person that originally made the deal. read more

Not sure if this is the same Move US company as we used as ours had the same name but claimed to be out of Seattle WA, but if it is DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR MOVE!!. I would rate this company a negative 10 if I could. We moved from VA to FL and I found this company on Angie. The rep named Jordan asked me for an inventory and gave me a quote of $4,500 and they would have our stuff in FL within 4-5 business days which sounded too good to be true ( should have been my first suspicion) . After a week we realized we had more than we thought so I revised the inventory and gave him a detailed spreadsheet of what we were moving. No problem he said that cost would go up from $4,500 to just under $6,500 and still 4-5 days still not bad. He sent me a contract and we signed. Two days before the move a customer service agent calls me to confirm everything and tell me it would take 10-14 business days. I immediately called Jordan who told me no he talked to his manager and they would expedite things so it would only take 4-5 days. I said fine. Then the movers showed up in a rented 26 ft Ryder truck that no way was going to fit all of the items we had given Jordan on our list. I was told that all of their big trucks were in the shop. The manager looked at it and said there was too much stuff and and they would need to go get a 2nd truck but the cost would go up from $6,500 to over $13,500. Mind you there was not 1 item that was not on the list I had given them, in fact there was less. I lost it I called their customer support and was basically told it is what it is that was the new price. They knew we were stuck as we had to be out of our house and did not have time to find another mover. I told them to fit what they could in the 26ft truck and leave the rest as I was not paying them $13,000. Once loaded I paid them the deposit of $4,500 and was told the balance upon delivery would be $2,200 payable by money order or cash. They took our stuff and we drove to FL. The next day my son and law and I flew back to VA rented a U-Haul and moved the rest of what they left behind down for far less than the extra $7,000 these extortionists wanted. Now the real fun began. 4 days went by, no movers, 5 days 6 days finally I called their customer support and was told our stuff was in a warehouse in Baltimore MD as they did not have a driver available to drive to FL and it would be 14-21 days before they could get one. We called daily and got the same excuse, finally after 3 full weeks ( 21 days) we were told the driver was leaving. I asked for an email for the exact balance so that I could have their money order for them and was told in writing twice that the balance was $2,118 so I got the money order. The truck finally shows up and claims that the balance is $2,518 not $2,118 as I was quoted. Here we go again. I called customer service and was told the person who quoted me $2,118 made a mistake and I had to pay the $2,518 or they were not going to unload our stuff and charge us storage to take it to a warehouse. More extortion. I gave them another $400 and they unloaded our things and left. About two days later as we were still going though boxes, we discovered at least 2 or 3 of our 30Gal containers were missing along with some exercise equipment. We once again called and were told there was nothing we could do as those claims needed to be pointed out while the movers were there. I do not know who runs this outfit but it was the worst from the sales rep who lied to us about the cost and delivery times, to the customer support who was clueless to the pickup and delivery teams that lost our stuff. We have filed reports with the BBB on them but do not expect it to go anywhere. My advice is RUN from these guys DO NOT HIRE THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!!. read more

My Sister In Law referred this company to me. She said her experience was pretty good but really didn't go into detail. Spoke to the reservations guy who was very good at explaining the whole situation. What they do, what they don't do etc. After deciding to go with them moving everything and doing the packing of the boxes myself I decided to call back and move forward. They were on time. The crew was great, I didn't get a vibe like they didn't want to even be there like I did with previous movers. They we're done in about 3 hours and 4 days later I received my belongings at my new home exactly as I remember. They even set up my house for me. Came out to be about $175 more than estimated but in all fairness I forgot about a Sofa and some plastic tubs I had out back in my shed. But overall a job well done. I felt lucky just to receive my property, which was picked up on 6/27/18 near Knoxville, TN. I was promised a delivery of 7/16-18 in Reno, NV. I did not receive my property until 8/15. Until then, I had no idea where my things were or if/when they would be delivered. Israel lied and lied on the phone when I called DAILY to ask about my stuff. Daniella Gold, who sold me on the company over the phone, seems like a nice person, but don't be deceived. Your stuff gets put on a random truck with a random driver. They don't even know where he is. For two weeks I was told the driver was "coming." When the driver finally arrived, he hired people off the street to do the actual moving of my stuff. He complained and complained. Then he extorted $300, in cash or check, even though he had done NOTHING and had just given $20 bills to guys off the street. It was like dealing with the mob in my home with my stuff. So don't do it. It's not worth it. The actual packers, Akop & another fellow, did a decent job. But that's it. Our experience has been almost exactly like Lauren's review from almost exactly a year ago. They were nice and professional and pack up your things and smile and chat you up. They promise a great delivery time- and then they disappear. They tell you the "driver will be contacting you tonight" day after day until weeks have passed and you stop caring that you don't have a bed but are now terrified you'll never see your wedding dress or your grown child's baby outfits again. From what we could figure out, they pack up the stuff and then hire out someone to deliver it. And because of that, neither they nor you can control the outcome. We did eventually get our stuff, but my husband lost three days of work because we would get contacted saying they would be here the next day, and then no one showed up. They really need to work on the process. read more

Move US Inc. was contracted to deliver a piano and lost a piece of it. My school purchased a piano from a person in Tennessee. Move US Inc. was contracted to deliver said piano and lost a piece of it. When we called to inquire as to what happened they said they had record of the piece being picked up by one of its contractors but that they were not sure why it was delivered. Megan in their customer service department informed us that she would look into where the part could have been placed and asked that we look into the cost to replace it. The piece that is missing is the "Music Desk". For this model and brand of piano the replacement cost for the part and shipping etc is about $700. We informed Megan at Move US and she told us she would get back to us. That was almost a month ago and now when I call I am told that she is not available or I am placed on hold until the call disconnects. I finally got ahold of a man named Joe a week ago and he promised me that Megan would call me within 24 hours with an update. That never happened and she has not called me nor has she been able to come to the phone when I call. After repeated calls, emails and texts, the driver finally called and CANCELLED! Less than 2 days before the move date! Nobody else from Move Us ever contacted me, even after my repeated calls. I had to put all of my stuff in storage and leave it in Oregon. I thought I must have got scammed, but Move Us seems to be a legit company. They really screwed me over and never even called to say sorry. read more

At times you blame your luck and your ability to judge a person on phone especially when it starts with a pleasant conversation and all the right carefully thought out words (i'm the senior specialist, 24/7 end to end service, all staff have background checks, one company, no need for an in house estimates, fixed price and we overestimate so you actually pay less). Come the actual job, deposit locked - I just stopped working weekends, I had a family emergency, I had no idea but I assure you I am with you till the end - at every step empathy not just expected but drawn from customer. And the games begin, one driver calls another, shows up, they are rough with packing, you cannot make any suggestion, they try to discourage you that somethings will break, go on stuffing excessive packing material, in the end it takes more than twice a normal/standard estimate and your volume has exceeded because what could fit in 1 box is made to fit in 3. Huge surcharge - pay me now - and the senior specialist who promises on email that payment will not be an issue says oh but yes you have to pay him. At this point no matter what you say the truck is loaded you bite yourself and seek clarity can I expect any more surprises at destination truck wont fit / extra charges for stairs? The specialist replies on email oh no this one was unexpected everything else is sorted we have already checked at your destination - I got you. Days of repeated followup begin but there is no firm response. Late Sunday a text message is recieved - keep my payment ready cash or USPS money order, delivery is 8am. Somehow he agrees that banks/USPS don't open that early yet appears at my doorstep, I rush to the nearest ATM forced to pay cash. He meets me with a tool and starts marking push back distance, steps and what not - another surcharge. His demeanor is rough but explanation simple 'don't tell me your problems, you either pay me this extra or I drop your stuff here and leave'. I was just rushed to the ATM for one amount. Time to reach out to the 'senior specialist' he has no idea what push back is - says he will call someone who will call someone. 30minutes later a lady calls and a whole team is on the line - this surcharge appears to matter the most to the company. This time my question is simple, I had asked if should I expect anymore surprises - the answers ... "how is the senior specialist expected to know these things at the destination, his job was to take the initial order, we did not lie to you, he said no to the truck only, the extra has to be paid." I forward their email my 1 question has 2 parts, his 1 answer was intended to answer only 1 part. There is no empathy for the customer with this company - 35% price increase, hours of anxiety, being held at ransom every step, and the humiliating punch line from the senior specialist "maybe its the way you understand things." To each his own, we got our stuff, minor dents/damages, lived through the stress and dished out extra money at every step - if only I knew better. read more

STAY AWAY FROM MOVEUS.US I got 8 quotes, I went with them because they seemed reputable. Not the cheapest bid, nor the most expensive. But I went with them because I thought you were a good company. Now I know to warn other executives and employees in my company and anyone else who will listen to stay away from them. The quotes are a scam to get the client in the door, then you raise the price again and again, the classic bait and switch. I was originally quoted only $2200, then a week before they came out I noticed they missed the queen bed in the inventory list he sent me, I told the guy and he then raised the price to $2700+, now they wait till the day escrow closes, knowing full well I have no choice but to use them and they now charge me $3400+ for the same load. The salesman gave me some bullshit about how he miscalculated the box count. I do not buy it. This is a bait and switch scam and I am going to let everyone know about it. I wouldn't doubt by the look of the people who came out to move me that everything i own will be damaged or scratched and it will be delivered weeks after i was promised delivery. MOVEUS.US s a scam that uses bait ans switch. read more

I contracted this company to complete an out of state move for my mother who is her mid 60s. They had impressive customer service and good rates initially. Pick up was relatively smooth. We signed an agreement that the things would be delivered within 14 days. The person who moved the items, Jack, was not the person I had been speaking with on the phone but that did not cause alarm at that time. He advised me that he'd call within a few days to schedule delivery. He called the follow tues and asked he could make a late night delivery and if it was a problem then he'd come within the following 2 days. Late night deliveries are not allowed at our storage facility so I told him that would not work. He advised that he would call back tomorrow to confirm a new time. He never called. I called him multiple times over the next few days and the phone would go straight to voicemail which was full. He finally called and advised he had gotten busy. He advised that he could deliver in 2 days and would call the next day to confirm time. That never occurred. I call the day he stated he'd deliver; no answer. I finally called the main office and asked for my rep. Her voicemail was full. I called again and the person that picked up didn't say hello or hold on but placed my call back on hold. Her name is Sarah. I finally got her on the phone and she said "let me guess you are calling about your things not being delivered?!" She was rude, dismissive, and inarticulate. She refused to identify the manager or owner. I called Jack back and he answered and advised that he hadn't called me b/c his car was stolen. He stated that he had planned to call me but had forgot. He now advised that he is the owner not delivery person. The sec of state says differently. I called the main office back and spoke with Tanya. She also full of excuses and refused to get a manager. She advised that all she could do was take a message. She provided a number that is inoperable. read more

Jack, Israel and Kieth were great! This was our 4th move in 7 years, and by far it was the best experience. They moved us from Spring Hill, TN to Adams, TN. They were on time, got to work, very professional, helpful, polite, considerate, efficient and were great with our 5 year old son. All furniture was wrapped very well and all of our boxes, personal items, etc. made it to the new house with no damage. Most importantly, my wife was happy with them too! Thanks guys - we'll be calling you again for our next move. read more

Jack and his crew were great. Jack called the day before pick-up and asked what time would be good and they arrived right on time. They took a look around while I gave them a few instructions and they immediately got to work. Wrapping and taping were incredibly thorough. An atom bomb next door would not have scratched my furniture. The floor lamps went out the door looking like mummies. It was a miserably hot and humid day in Kentucky, but they worked fast and non-stop for the whole time they were--about 4 hours. One of his men, at my request, even carried a very heavy item out to the trunk of my car that I wished to keep with me on the drive west. They were polite and intent on their work, and for packing, and quick work, I would highly recommend this company. I would give them 5 stars except for one thing: mistakes on the paperwork I signed when they were ready to leave. The Job number was missing a number and did not quite match the job number given me by Integrity Van Lines. I assumed that Jack was subcontracting for them. The other is that Jack failed to enter the full 3 day window I wished for delivery in my new home in Wyoming I had been instructed to give him by Integrity. He only entered the first day available delivery date. Perhaps it was the extreme heat And I did not, and perhaps should have, asked where my things would be stored until my new place was ready. I have a call in to Jack right now hoping to find out. I have had no end of trouble with Integrity getting my belongings delivered. It is now over 2 weeks waiting in a motel with promised call-backs that never come--but that is another matter. I am hoping that Jack is willing to help me however he can with this, since it does seem that he sub-contracts for Integrity. That is who I made the check out too when they were ready to leave. read more

I hired Knockout Movers through MoveUs.com to do a local move. I paid a 30% upfront reservation fee to guarantee the date with a 12 hour fixed price move for my 4 bedroom house. We agreed to an 8:30 AM start time and final payment upon delivery at the new house by CC. I worked with Tyler Green and Christina the office manager at MoveUs to negotiate and pay the initial deposit. MoveUs contracted with Knockout Movers to perform my move. After my negative experience with Knockout (see below) I had some trouble reaching MoveUs. They were apologetic about Knockout abandoning me mid move and made aware that I had furniture damaged in transit. At first they told me the damaged furniture was covered and then they told me to work directly with Knockout Movers. If I could not get any help from Knockout they told me I could contact the DOT to prove negligence and possibly force Knockout to pay for the damage. In essence, they secured my booking, collected my deposit, and that was the end of their responsibility for my satisfaction. It should be noted that MoveUs advertises that they do state-to-state moves NOT local moves. I think they should have turned away this business rather than try and book with a local company (and we presume to earn a commission). My move experience with Knockout Movers (referred by MoveUs) 1) The crew showed up at 10 AM. 2) Maurice wanted payment as soon as they showed up to begin loading. He wanted me to pay the entire amount (including the prepaid deposit) again but was eventually able to verify I had already paid the deposit. Then he finally agreed to payment of the balance as soon as the unloading began, not when it was completely "delivered". 3) When given the option to pay it was only by debit (not CC). When I didn't have a debit card the crew stopped working until I found a way to pay the team leader using paypal, then they resumed unloading. 4) They brought 2 - 26 foot trucks instead of one but still failed to fit my household goods in one trip. Most of the furniture was packed without blankets and several items were scratched in transit. Knockout claims MoveUs is responsible, MoveUs claims Knockout is responsible for damage. 5) The crew left my new home to pick up the final load at 8:30 PM and never showed up at my old home. No one called to tell me they weren't going to finish the move. I finally reached Maurice at 10:30 PM by text. Maurice informed me the crew had reached the 12 hour clock and went home. If you count what time they showed up at my home and subtract lunch and all the time they were told to stop working, they had not reached 12 hours. Note: The crew was 4 people, all of which were pleasant, polite and very cooperative. One seemed to have some moving experience and be directing the others on how to navigate around corners and pack the truck. This was a strong, hard working, but most certainly unseasoned crew that failed to get my household into 2 trucks when supposedly only 1 truck was needed (according to moving standards for truck size vs household size). In conclusion, I spoke with Maurice multiple times both before and during the move. He seemed to forget things we had talked about and agreed to and during the move repeatedly told his crew to stop working while he waited for payment to be send and come through online. He became agitated and irate when I tried to insist on the original terms and indicated that I was being difficult and hard to work with. I could not in good conscience recommend doing business with Knockout Movers in Shelbyville, TN. read more
