I originally found them when I needed to move a piano and quickly realized that, based on the quotes I was getting, it was almost as expensive to move just the piano as it was to move the whole house. Thankfully they handled it with no problem. Both moves were smooth, the crew worked quickly, and everything was handled with care. Moving is stressful enough, so it's always a relief when the team you hire is organized and professional. Another reason I'm happy to keep giving them my business is that they volunteer their services for a food drive at a nonprofit I'm involved with. Seeing a company show up for the community like that really means a lot. Great service, dependable team, and a company that gives back. Hard to ask for more than that.

The fridge is just a dent, but the TV is rendered useless as the imaging is completely destroyed, won't render anything on the screen other than fuzz/distorted images. I would suggest paying the heaviest additional insurance/coverage if you're going to use them as their default coverage is ridiculous (which is sort of aggravating when I already paid $2K+ for the service to move 10 miles). They offered me $39 to replace my TV. Absurd. Might be a rare occurrence for the company to damage property, but I won't use again based on this. Mike and his guys were phenomenal helping us complete our move. They fit our entire 2200sq ft house in a single trip after an impressive game of Tetris. Not only were they professionals but given we spent a whole day together they were fun to chat with as we worked thru the move. Very friendly and fun to work with. They put everything exactly where we wanted it in our new house, and moved things around as we got all furniture in and situated. 10/10 - these guys are the best. It's apparent these are their core values. We did not have the best move- ok, it was downright horrible! (Mostly due to the fact that we packed up a 2400 sq ft home in 2 days and moved about 2500 across the country without a place to stay- stress doesn't even begin to explain it) It was the Encyclopedia Brittanica explanation of Murphy's Law in that everything that could have gone wrong- did go wrong. The anticipation of opening that moving van (just about the ONLY control we had during our chaotic move was in that van) only to be reduced to a sobbing mess because quite a few of our items were damaged beyond repair (our dining table destroyed to splinters). I was told it would be pointless to contact AZ Firemen Movers, they could/would do nothing. Why would they do anything? The laws are strange- every quality moving company will tell you that, and if they try to sell you "insurance," RUN! I just wanted to let AZ Firemen Movers know, so maybe it wouldn't happen again to someone else. I was somewhat prepared for the "not my problem" response, or better yet- no reply at all. I was blown away when Marty emailed back and within minutes was talking to me on the phone. He really wanted to speak with me, it was obvious he was concerned. There was something different, he was actually empathetic to my situation. I was not a number to him, I was a person. My family was important. He never made excuses, he listened to my concerns, he was proactive and provided a quick resolution because in his words, "it's the right thing to do." He detailed his appreciation for customer feedback and assured me this was a fluke. His pure honesty is what makes this company stand above all the rest because I know he strives to continue to find improvements. Jeff and his crew (Roy, Matthew & Aidan) came up with a solution for me that was very workable. They came out 2 days before the move and completely loaded up a U-Haul. They came back 2 days later with their truck and loaded up the balance of my property, moved both trucks to my new location and unloaded both. These guys worked like dogs, but very efficient and friendly dogs! They were extremely careful with my stuff, and the only thing that got broken was a piece that I transported myself. Movers didn't shrink wrap the mattress, didn't unscrew nightstand legs which are now broken, and the tv stand is damaged because movers asked to add items inside even though I had it empty. Their way of helping was refunding $150 to get a temporary mattress from Walmart and told me the claims department would be in touch in 3-5 business days. In the end they only compensated me $900 despite the thousands of dollars of damage. In addition to the damage, one of the movers the company set up for the CT delivery made inappropriate sexual comments to me while I was alone (I'm a young female). Do not use them!

I had a move planned I originally hired them for but then I had problems with my lease where I then had to move back to my old address. Tim and his staff were very gracious in being able to help me twice in essentially the same week for both moves I had, going to and from the same locations. I appreciate him and his company for their help and I plan on reaching out if I ever end up having another domestic move here in the future! As a side note, he charges/quotes based on the furniture you have over hours of service. I found this to be cheaper than other companies out there (especially if you just have one room of furniture like I did) so he's really nice for smaller moves like mine and I recommend him as well because of this. He even helped my mom take an old TV stand to consignment for us which was very much an appreciated favor of his company with the original job and furniture that I had with him.
