They had nice medium sized rollaway packs that sported all sorts of famous snowboarding brand names. The perfect bag for a week in Aspen or San Francisco or for a slumber party. The entire back room had the sale items and although it was tempting to look at the winter and snow gear, the busting 95 degree weather outside made the 100% wool sweater even more unattractive. Prana sweaters and capri's line the walls....The capri's looked perfect for climbing and the sweater would be perfect for giving you that "I am pretending that I just threw something on look, but I know I look cute, and my sweater is soft, so please pet me" look. From perusing different stores along Main St, with this beacon of hope at the front door I was already winning!!! They have a great selection of helmets, gift items, boots, jackets, pants, gear and more. I cannot remember all of the brands, but the ones that stuck out were Kodiak, Swix and Rossignol. It was funny because the store manager was not available and had the password to the register so the employee and us patrons started conversing between each other with not a care in the world even though a line started forming. No attitudes just positive vibes and sunshine. Once the manager (Shannon) returned, she had a couple of coffees for her and the employee jokingly informing us if we wanted coffee for the wait, it would be her treat. That was cool! Sooo... let me temper your expectations Main Street Outlet is an outlet and has good prices for the quality of their items, but I would say it is more of a Premium Outlet which the prices are way better and they have a better selection than most of the stores seen on this visit.

Which isn't ideal when you have to carry it all back and forth. When we went to pick it up, it was really crowded. The place itself isn't big, everyone is lined up, didn't really understand what line is for what but eventually we all figured it out. You self checked in on the computer to pick up a ticket, then you line up to get your boots fitted. It was only one man working on that section and he was pretty efficient. After that, you wait a little longer, they measure you for your ski length and poles and off you go. When you come back to drop it off, you line up your boots and line up again to get checked out. They didn't really check any of the equipments if they were in good shape or not. However we did pay $1 extra for damage control. Which is nothing. Overall, it was little hectic but with some patience, you will be alright.

This is interesting, I wrote a negative review of this shop based on my first hand experiences and now 5 months later the review has been deleted. I am a colorado native, I don't have a lot of disposable income, and the "cute boy factor" is meaningless to me. What I do care about is the fact that I was treated terribly by the people in this shop. I won't recite my experiences, because I suspect that this review will be taken down shortly and any retelling will be a waste of time. Thanks for burying reviews to bolster the profits of a crappy shop! I hope that the next time a review is buried for the sake of a poor business (possibly food poisoning or gross neglect for customer safety) I hope that no one is injured. In the beginning I was excited to see a forum like this where all opinions, good and bad, are posted and maintained by a neutral site. Obviously I was mistaken, money trumps integrity every time. Maybe if there were pictures of the "cute girls" that work at Yelp my review would be more upbeat. read more

When we walked in, our sales associate Michael was friendly, prompt to greet us, and genuinely interested in helping. He took the time to listen to what I was looking for and never made me feel rushed or silly about my beginner questions, even though it was close to closing time. Since it was my first time mountain biking, he walked me through the differences between a full-suspension bike and a hardtail, let me try both, and helped me find the best fit. I ended up on a small women's hardtail, which fit me perfectly from their selection and was a much more beginner-friendly option. It was obvious that Michael wasn't just trying to rent me a bike--he was invested in making sure I had the right bike so my first mountain biking experience would be a great one. That level of customer service really stood out. Thank you, Michael! We're locals, and this experience definitely earned our future business. We rode that day with a family member visiting from Oregon who is an avid mountain biker. On my ski trip to Breckenridge, decided to rent equipment from Pioneer Sports in Frisco because of…read morethe reasonable rental rates. I made my reservation online and paid for the equipment in advance. They have a variety of equipment options, I chose the performance ski package, but wasn't quite sure of the difference between packages other than price. The store was located in a strip mall and upon entering looked like a typical sporting goods store. When you make your way to the back of the store they have all the ski equipment. I was asked if I had a reservation which I provided my email. First, you walk up the steps on a platform where an employee measured my foot to determine ski boot size. When I tried the ski boots on, they were small so they gave me a larger size for comfort. Next step is to wait in line to pick up your skis and poles. The employee at the counter calls you in the order of boot measurement. This process was a bit time consuming and took approx an hour before it was my turn. They input information into a system and ask you some questions about how you ski, fast, experienced, beginner, etc and help you pick out the correct ski brand and length. My boots were very dirty and well used, but they did the job. The employee makes some adjustment to the skis to make sure your boots fit. The XX skis that I received performed well and I did not have any issues. Check in if the equipment was much more efficient and they just scanned a barcode on the equipment when we returned it and we left it in a pile and were good to go. Overall, I think you get what you pay for and this store offers functional ski equipment at a reasonable price. I do wish the process of getting the equipment had been a bit more efficient. The employees were very friendly and helped to make this equipment rental experience go smoothly.

I only needed help figuring out how to pull the motor without damaging the frame, so that I could plug in a new wiring harness. I had already mostly disassembled it. I had previously visited three shops, all with great reputations. First place wouldn't even consider looking at it. Second was nicer but said they won't touch motors on e-bikes. Third tried a bit but didn't put much effort into it. But then, I got to Rebel Sports. Jack came out to my vehicle and looked at the bike while it was still on my rack. He said he'd be happy to give it a try. I unloaded the bike and brought it inside. It took some time, but he finally got the motor out. He replaced the wiring harness and put it all back together for me. He even helped tweak the adjustment on my derailleur to get it shifting better. The cost for the repair and help was exceptionally reasonable. Jack told me that he genuinely had fun figuring it out and that he enjoys working on niche projects. Also, while I was there, I heard the interactions between other staff members and customers (all from out of town). Their customer service is exemplary. I will be going back to Rebel Sports for all of my bike needs in the future and I'll specially be asking for Jack.

We've been visiting Rebel Sports almost every year since 2016, and one of the main reasons we keep…read morecoming back is because they're the only place that carries the adorable trike that our kids absolutely love riding. Unfortunately, this year's experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment we walked in, the customer service was lacking. There was only one person at the desk, and the interactions felt dry, impersonal, and unwelcoming. We were initially told the trike was not available to rent. Later, another employee outside said it actually was. After explaining that we've rented the same trike nearly every year, they finally agreed to let us rent it. About 30 minutes into our ride, the trike's brake suddenly snapped open on its own. There was no collision, no crash, no impact--nothing that would reasonably explain a mechanical failure. Because the brake no longer worked, my 12-year-old daughter had to manually roll the trike back for nearly two hours, completely ruining what was supposed to be a fun family bike day. What disappointed us even more was how the situation was handled when we returned. Instead of showing any empathy, apologizing for the equipment failure, or offering a discount or credit for the ruined rental, we were immediately blamed for damaging the brake. Any reasonable person would ask: how is a rider responsible for a brake mechanically coming apart without any accident or impact? Rather than standing behind their equipment, Rebel Sports chose to argue over a brake issue that appeared to require nothing more than a pair of pliers and a few seconds to reconnect. We had traveled all the way from Texas and were parked far away--otherwise, we likely could have fixed it ourselves. Eventually, I realized it simply wasn't worth continuing the argument. I was prepared to pay $10, $20, $50, $100--or even buy the trike outright--just to end the discussion and move on. The cost was never the issue. What bothered me was the principle. A minor mechanical problem exposed what felt like an unfair, unprofessional, and unethical approach to customer service. Rather than treating a loyal customer with understanding and goodwill, the focus was on assigning blame over what appeared to be an obvious equipment failure. We've always believed in supporting local, family-owned businesses, and that's exactly why we've continued coming back for nearly a decade. But supporting small businesses should never come at the expense of fairness, accountability, honesty, and respect for customers. This experience left us genuinely disappointed, and unless customer service and accountability improve, we'll have to reconsider returning after so many years of making Rebel Sports part of our family trips.
