Chilli, chicken fried steak

The chicken fried steak was great, the batter was the best I've ever had and the steak was nice and soft. The veggies were also cooked perfectly. But we disliked the gravy. The chilli was good but not the best. We also stayed at the resort for the night and the room was very spacious and affordable. The only downside was that we were getting eating alive by mosquitoes at night

I'm surprised by a lot of the reviews on yelp about this place. My husband and I did an overnight trip at Mountain Village resort. We had a great time there. We stayed in a 2 queen room. The room was spacious and clean. The mattress are a firm memory foam. I have a herniated disc in my back and had no back pain in the morning. Which is not typical with hotel beds for me. The hot tub soak was amazing. You really can't get the same experience anywhere else. The front desk staff was friendly and we had no issues. There are a few things people need to realize. This is a room facing the parking lot hotel. You can hear people in the parking lot. It's not over the top but you can hear people. It's a hotel and I always hear other people. So this isn't an issue for me but I guess it is for other people. If you have mobility issues, this may not be the best spot. The stair case upstairs is made out of real logs. It looks very pretty but the pitch of the stairs is off. My husband and I both felt a little awkward going up and down the stairs. The hot tubs are also a 10 minute walk from the hotel. It's not a bad walk but it isn't level. I would be worried if I had an elderly person with me or if someone had a knee or foot problem. We made a lot of memories and would come back from another trip when we can!

Great service all around!! Really loved how we were treated. I love coming up to Stanley and this was the first time we stayed at the mountain village resort. The only thing I have to complain about is the back breaking beds. They are no joke silent killers, luckily if you signed up to reserve time at the hot springs in the morning the wonderful view and hot water will mend you up nice. Worth the price, every single penny, but will definitely bring a mattress topper next time Great food and DRINKS at the restaurant and all your needs across the street if you need or forget anything! Again, such wonderful service and beautiful views . Can't wait to return!

On the way to hot spring

We went there for our wedding anniversary. It was on week day and snow falling so this place was quite and we were able to enjoy hot springs multiple times! Need to walk / short hike to the hot spring but you will soon forget about that walk as soon as you jump in to the hot spring. The office people were nice and all the stuff works at the restaurant, bar are super nice! We would definitely come back and stay here! Thank you for amazing stay!

Blackened salmon and we heard the chicken fried steak is great too

We had a great meal (blackened salmon)! The beer and wine menu was equally excellent. Homemade apple ala-mod topped off our meal. Thank you Karen! our server.

I came here pre-pandemic during the spring. It was part of a road trip and my first time in Idaho. This part of the state is COLD in the spring! The accomodation here is a motel style situation. The rooms are a warm refuge from the cold, but they definitely need to be updated. There is a mini fridge and a microwave but no in-suite kitchen. Parking is normally available right in front of your room although there are a lot of trucks with tows so they do take up space. The accommodations themselves are nothing special and dark and shabby -- very 90s motel style. What makes this place worth a stay is the little shed with a hot spring. The pool has reservable time slots although you might be sharing with another party if your group doesn't reach its capacity. The shed is freezing and there was only one working light when I was there. It requires a trek in the snow and the change rooms will be icy and wet. Expect for your eyelashes and hair to freeze while you are in the spring, as the steam condenses. The view is nice from within the shed although they definitely need more signage indicating the way, particularly at night.

Camps/conferences: Located in Donnelly, ID on Lake Cascade, this venue offers a stunning view of Tamarack ski resort across the way. The campground is well-kept, clean, and offers lodging for both large and small groups alike. In the summer, they have paddle boards, canoes, and kayaks that you can take out on the water, and in the winter, cozy up in the fireside room next to the fireplace. Wedding Venue: I have had 3 friends get married here, and all have had gorgeous ceremonies/receptions. When nature gives you a remarkable backdrop, it sure does help bring down the cost of decorating. I've seen two ceremonies near the water area, and one out in an open field. Most recently, my best friend got married here and opted to have her ceremony and reception in the open field. Her father-in-law constructed poles to hang lights from over the whole reception area and dance floor, giving this fall wedding a dreamy and whimsical feel to it. Additionally, they allowed the caterers to use the kitchen to prepare the food for this event. The bride and groom also paid a little bit extra so that the wedding party could stay the night in Faith Height's cabins/lodge the night of the wedding, as Faith Heights is about a 2-hour drive from Boise. Overall: Gorgeous and dreamy. A great canvas for event planners or wedding planners to work with!

It is a great facility with an excellent location and very accommodating staff. I've been involved in hosting two find raisers here for a charter school and a community radio station. I also attended a holiday work party. As a host, I had everything I needed to pack the house for a dinner in one case and a speech by a celebrity news anchor in the other. As a guest I found the space a little too bright for a festive gathering. I think the organizers just didn't know how to set up the lighting correctly because at the other events we took advantage of the accent lighting to highlight a speaker and information/book signing tables. Bar services are available through the sister company, the Modern Hotel. I wish the kitchen were bigger because I think it was a little hard for our caterer to plate up in the little space they have. The managers are supper helpful and flexible. And believe me, this is key when you are dealing with a chaotic events planning committee or a picky mother-in-law when you are planning your event or wedding reception!

There was a hosted bar and buffet table, as well as professional lighting which seemed to mirror a dance area on the floor. Seems like a perfect venue for a wedding reception, depending on the size of the guest list. For event organizers: Make you sure know how to control the tempertaure. The AC was blasting the entire time and I noticed many people complaining about how cold it was.
