Best place to stay in Stanley. Right on the Salmon River. Always clean, nice people, close to food, coffee and Main town.

Room was comfortable and clean, they accepted our two dogs, and check in was very easy. Staff was helpful and friendly.

2026: OOPS we did it again! Had another fantastic anniversary weekend at the Redfish Riverside Inn. Their team keeps on making it better. This year brought us new patio and room furniture. I can't think of any reason to go anywhere else!! See you guys next year!!! read more

Super nice rooms, everything you need with a touch of extra luxury. Rooms have a deck facing the river and a deck facing the mountain. The Mountains are not super visible, but still great. Very close to all the stuff in Stanley (short walk or drive). Staff are friendly. Room was clean and attractive, with a great kitchenette and fancy shower. read more

We brought our 2 young children for a one night stay in room/cabin 8, which is on the second floor. It was cozy, clean, small, low ceiling, comfy bed, with breathtaking views of the Salmon River. The rate for a Friday night was $199, which is up from the weekday rate of $103. It's fair if you are fans of views like we are. It was in close proximity to the general store, and a few restaurants in Stanley. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will certainly be back to visit again soon. read more

The Cabin was super cozy and clean! Our host was extremely communicative and helpful throughout our trip, the views were too beautiful to explain and pictures will never do justice. Town is walkable and wonderful, full of great food, drinks and friendly people. 10/10 would move here if I could today. read more

This is our 4th or 5th stay in this place. It will be our LAST. Nothing has changed, no improvements. This time we stayed in cabin # 20, it was a MESS, mildew in the shower along with hair, exposed electrical wires, cobwebs. It is incredible that decks are NOT swept off and deck furniture was filthy, had to ask for bar soap and tissue in the room. The floors in this cabin are uneven and the lack of grab bars in the shower and a place to put toiletries in the shower is a real disaster. My wife chose not to use the shower. We have stayed in other rooms, one had a door that would not lock, it is obvious that little money has gone into the upkeep of this property and yet they charge top dollar. The main deck is in serious need of renovations as the boards are uneven and nail heads exposed making serious liability issues. The view of the river could be fantastic, BUT, the failure to trim the plants block much of the river view. We will again be in Stanley in August, BUT, have found another spot on the river, to think they have the audacity to ASK for 5 star reviews is nutty. GO elsewhere and spend your $ read more

One of the best places we've ever stayed. A must visit! Highly recommend for anyone traveling to or near the Stanley, ID area:-)

Great inn! King corner room was spacious. Beautiful view out over the river. Bed super comfy. Staff attentive. Affordable. Couldn't ask for more! nice deck overlooking the river. read more

Gorgeous view from our room/deck. Very nice & easy check in. Only down fall was, when we arrived the room was over 80°, which was a surprise that there was no air conditioner. Maybe that's my fault for not reading through all the accommodations but I just figured it would have A/C. So that could be my fault, but besides that everything was perfectly clean, nice room & comfy bed which is a huge plus. Quite a bit of flying bugs in the room but we are in the mountains, we just made sure to not leave doors open or cracked. Over all we had a great stay. read more

Visited Stanley, ID, for the first time and booked a room into the Redfish Riverside Inn. Did not know anything about this inn, but figured we would give it a try. We were quite happy with it! Check in process was very easy and the room was great and clean. We will have no problem staying in this inn again in the future. My wife and I already talked about going right back up there for another visit. read more

Diamond in the Rough: You will not find a more beautiful setting in Stanley Idaho than this spot, but, little time and effort has gone into the maintenance and upkeep of this facility. A couple of improvements have been made, but, not enough has been done to give it a higher rating. The NEW shower lacks a grab bar, the plumbing is located in a spot that will freeze you until HOT water is available, the door knob going onto the deck was falling off,the deck itself has become a liability issue with boards raised and screw head above the boards, the fantastic view is being blocked by the foliage growing next to the river blocking some of the view, the back door going into the room was very dirty and litter was on the deck. This COULD be a very nice place, BUT, the lack of care and lack of maintenance brings it down. The management at Redfish lodge should be ashamed read more

Redfish Riverside Inn - Sunset view from cabin room 24 - Hotels Near Me - Stanley, Idaho

We highly recommend the Redfish Riverside Inn. We stayed in a room situated on the bank of the Salmon River with a private deck all to ourselves. The room was very clean and well maintained and it appears to have been recently updated, so very nice and although small it was a very comfortable, feel-good room...I believe it was the Osprey #8 room. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We will absolutely stay at the Redfish Riverside Inn again and in the same room! read more

Being right on the river was incredible, sitting on the porch was such a treat! A great space to unwind after a long day of playing outside. The room was clean and the updated shower was delightful. We stayed at the RIVERSIDE a REDFISH Lodge property on the river in Stanley. we thought we made reservations at the Redfish Lodge but when we went to checking they told us they were sold out and that our reservations were actually in town at the RIVERSIDE INN. I was upset that we were not staying at the lake. the RIVERSIDE was fantastic, a great second floor room with a kitchenette and also a private deck looking East over the water. We had made reservations for dinner at the REDFISH LODGE and were really disappointed. the food was not good, and was terribly over priced. the service was excellent but, again, horrible food and very pricey. I dont mind pating $100 for dinner for two, but I expect food that is prepared correctly. The portions were also small. The accommodation get FIVE STARS and the restaurant get only TWO STARS. read more

We had the most incredible week at Redfish. We stayed in cabin #8 & had a beautiful view of the Sawtooths. We played cards every night and stargazed only the beautiful shared deck that overlooked the river. We rented a pontoon, rafted, hiked & rested. Highly recommend the Sunset Appetizer Cruise. It was perfect for my 50th Birthday. We loved our stay so much that we already booked for next year. Stanley is such a sweet unique town & Redfish is in the perfect location to enjoy it. read more

Stayed here this past weekend on the second floor. The room was very cozy and the heater was working very well. The view was spectacular. The kitchenette had everything one would need (pots, plates, bowls, glasses, cups, utensils, dish detergent, sponge, etc.) Ground coffee along with filters was provided as well. There was a small fridge with a small freezer which was helpful as we brought food from home. The staff was very friendly and communication was great. Location is perfect, one can walk to "downtown" very easily. We very much enjoyed spending time in the room and watching the beautiful view of the Salmon River. It would be nice if the room had four chairs so we could all eat together but we made it work with two. The towels were rather old looking and we had some issues with turning on the shower as the knob was broken but this was supposedly fixed after we left. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay there again! read more

Beautiful location right on the water! The rooms were nice and clean. We had everything we needed in there for us in the kitchenette. Beds and pillows were amazing too! The bathroom was very clean even better than hiltons I've stayed at! The staff was friendly parking easy and convenient. This is great place is great for couples small families a groups and even solo getaways. Dinner and breakfast on the patio deck is so beautiful and relaxing. The property owners have really thought of everything to ensure guests have everything they could want. They have a bbq available for guests to use. Lounge chairs with fresh blankets to use specially for outside at night. Really a great stay things are simple and humble and makes you feel like you're at grandmas cool little cabin. I would definitely come back and bring my own guests here. This would be a great place to rent a few or all the rooms for a family reunion or wedding too! read more

We were beyond delighted with our stay at the Redfish Riverside Inn. This was our second visit to Stanley and we were bringing friends with us so we wanted everything to be perfect. The staff Redfish Riverside Inn was very happy to answer questions and accept reservations prior to the "season". We really appreciate that a staff person is available for questions in advance of "the season". Thank you! (other area options are not always available for advance planning) The location was delightful. The name of the establishment is not a gimmick; our rooms were literally right on the river bank and the river was full and moving quickly. I am not one for cruises, but if you ever wanted to feel like you are on a boat without being on a boat, this must be as close as it gets. Every room opens up to a deck and every room has a very generous table and four chairs for al fresco dining, drinking or just taking in the majesty. When we first arrived, we were standing on the deck and a bird of prey dipped into the river (with a very very fast current) and took its catch to a nearby fence post to enjoy. The quietness of space the is soley dependent on your neighbors' courtesy. We were fortunate that everyone was considerate and kept voices down (to the extent that is possble with a charging river;) Wifi? yes. Slow, but available. The bedding is soft and the mattresses very comfortable. Our room was furnished with two queen sized beds and a small dinette for two. The other room was a king sized bed, a dinette and a gas burning fireplace. Both had pretty decently equipped kitchens. I was thrilled to find a good grater since I had forgotten mine. The only improvement I would like to see is in the kitchenette pans; provided, are pans are the "coated" type and I am fairly certain it has been determined these are not especially good to use for health reasons. (this was no big deal for me; I brought my own pans :) The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The housekeeping is thorough and efficient. The motel respects the dark sky ( there is not a lot of exterior lighting). read more

Tranquillity at its finest. Right next to the majestic Sawtooth Mountains, Salmon River and Mountain Village.

We fell in love with this place and still thinking about it. Definitely will come back. Hidden gem a perfect getaway from everything crazy and just everything stop and you're just chilling and relaxing. I love that even the porch is clean as I'm not a bug fan but I was able to walk out to the porch feeling safe anytime. Peaceful and quiet and enjoying the landscape and the sound of the river. Of course I heard the rave of room #7 but I think any room facing the river is amazing. Friendly service and I'm happy they were prompt to answering any questions I had and our car rental in Boise was delayed over an hour but they assured whenever we arrive our room and key will be there. The room is awesome nice bed, furniture, full kitchen and the bathroom is perfect shower was lovely. Awesome location. The bats came out flying at night. It was a lovely romantic getaway and my husband was happy I picked a lovely place. We're definitely coming back and recommending others to come here. Thanks for the awesome services and place read more

This beautiful and very well maintained log building is two stories that offers a view of the majestic Sawtooths from the front door and a deck on the back side that is only yards away from the fast flowing Salmon River. It is refreshing just to sit back there and listen to the water. We stayed here the first week of June. The chinking in our room looked brand new (see photo) and the stain on the logs the same. It was clean and provided everything we needed. The online reservation was simple and the communication from the owner was the best we've experienced. The owner acknowledged our reservation immediately, as expected, but also sent a text to welcome us. Then another text to greet as when we checked in. Then another text to thank us when we checked out. If you want to visit Stanley, guaranteed you will not be disappointed in the views there and you will not be disappointed if you stay at the Redfish Riverside Inn. read more

Redfish Riverside Inn's staff was very accommodative, professional and friendly. Our room was very clean, the beds were very comfortable and the mini kitchen had everything you would ever need.
