From the cashier Kevin to our friendly and attentive server (didn't catch her name), we received superb customer service! Lunch special is delicious. Good variety. Maria was our cashier and specialty made my pizza. She was very friendly and knowledgeable when she showed me the other vegetarian option. I cannot speak to the service and ambience because I got my order via GrubHub. My driver, by the way, did an excellent job. The food was very good. I was really eager to try their pizza. I got two small pizzas, one pepperoni and one olive and mushroom. They cut the pizza into cute little slices that are perfect for kids. I got the thin crust and the pizza was tasty with fresh ingredients and ample toppings. I also got some sticky Kogi wings and an antipasto salad. The wings were good, sweet and spicy. I always have a great time at this location. I consider the food to always be fresh, hot, good quality ingredients, and tasty. Definitely does not have to compete with any other pizza location on taste and quality. The service is always prompt, accommodating and kind. However this time was above and beyond thanks to Vanessa! She took care of us from the moment we walked in until it was time for us to go. She let me know what they offer, how it was priced, she served us our food with care and made sure we were taken care of with any sauces or extras and to go boxes. Located in the Food 4 Less shopping center with plenty of parking. We stopped here right before closing time on Saturday night and the cashier was nice enough to still allow us and order takeout. I'm surprised to see bad reviews because we had such a great experience here... friendly and welcoming staff, also very helpful with the menu (maybe we just got lucky with the Saturday night staff). The restaurant is super clean with plenty of seating, TV's, and a few arcade games for the kiddos. This is a nice spot to enjoy a sports game with pizza, wings & beer (or wine). We tried their 'Robbers Roost' Specialty Pizza which consists of chicken, olives, mushrooms, tomatoes & onion with red sauce. They really pack on the toppings! (I would prefer less toppings and more sauce for my taste). We also tried their 'Mountain Fries' and 'Garlic Sticks with Cheese' (probably the best garlic cheese sticks I've had). Everything was baked to perfection, tasted delicious and fresh. They have online ordering as well as their App. Overall, we had a great experience here and will definitely return. read more

I have been a faithful customer since they opened their location here in perris till today. Ordered a couple pizzas around 5:50pm for delivery, never showed up. Turns out they third partied the delivery with door dash, never let me know. Two hours later still nothing , called spoke with manager, requested a refund and they said no, sorry that It was delivered. I have cameras here at my home showing other wise. I've never been crazy about pizza. Most places will give me stomach issues, probably from fake or cheap cheese. I heard this place was good and finally got a chance to try it. The food was pretty good. Definitely had a better taste than most places. I was able to eat three pieces along with chicken wings, potatoes, and salad and not a single stomach issue. This place is definitely out of my way but near my parent's home, and it pleased us all! Really good pizza: we ordered the Everest, Hawaiian- pineapple chicken, pikes peak, pepperoni (a bit different than my usual but good), and the cheese (gotta try the cheese - I loved it). One star because I have to admit that man in the front was friendly & welcoming. We purchased 3 lunch buffets. We each got a salad and then noticed that lettuce was so dirty and still had dirt on it. Gross!! Sadly couldn't just turn away and eat pizza instead because it tasted so dry. Looked like it had been sitting there for a while. Did not look or taste fresh at all. My husband brought this up to a lady by the counter but she didn't seem to understand so he waited to tell the cashier we originally paid our food with. He was bothered when we told him of our concerns with salad and pizza. After calling his boss, they only provided us a refund for salads because cashier claimed that pizza was fresh. The service and food in this location are horrible, I order two large pizzas to have dinner with my family, they were the most expensive and horrible pizzas I've ever bought. They were served poorly and to top it all off, they didn't even have tomato souse, it's common sense for a pizza to have tomato sauce. My husband called and made a claim about it, the lady on the phone was unprofessional and basically called my husband a liar about the pizza not having sauce. My husband went to the location and took them the pizza so they could see the "pizza" they prepared without sauce and said they couldn't do anything. Don't bother with the Perris location. They go back on their word and don't honor credits they say they will Gove on next orders for errors. Managers on duty do whatever they want and do not follow corp franchise policies. Was suppose to be Lrg Pep, Blk Olives and light red sauce. Received heavy sauce and no olives. Hello Yelpers, I tried this new place called "Mountain Mike's" in Perris, California. I read the yelp reviews and they were not very promising; so I went ahead and I called and spoke to Erica, the manager. She explained that they did in fact have a bad opening and I told her that I wanted to try them but I was worried about the reviews they had gotten. She said to please give them a try and so I did; here the results of this venture: I ordered: 1 Large "McKinley" pizza It has "the works"! 1 Large "Pineapple Chicken Luau" It has Pineapple, bacon, chicken, and BBQ sauce. 24 "Sweet Thai Chili" chicken wings 24 "Honey Garlic" chicken wings The "Good " (Very Good) I was very impressed with the chicken wings! There is more meat on one of these chicken wings than two to three wings from your average pizza places that are their competition. The meat was tender and delicious . The "Bad": But there was one problem with the wings- I prefer a lot more sauce on my wings. This is one of two reasons why they don't get five stars. The "Good" The pizza was "Bomb" The toppings were very generously portioned and the crust was very tasty! The "Bad" Well there are two areas that I believe could use improvement! 1- again, more sauce on the pizza! 2- the price is a bit too high. 2 large pizzas cost almost $50.00. In their defense: I don't think the pizza is outrageously priced, because the quality is very good! I just wanted to warn everyone that this is not cheap. The total cost of this meal was $102.33 BOTTOM LINE: *******IF YOU CAN AFFORD THE PRICE OF THIS FOOD IT IS PROBABLY WORTH IT!!************ If you need some kind of barometer, here it is: "I'll be back!" The Large pizza brought me back to elementary school when my first grade teacher Mrs. Fitzgerald cut the pizza slices very thin to make sure every first grader gets a slice. 2nd time ordering from Perris location - will be the LAST... Placed an online order - timestamp 4:54p on a Wednesday... Got a voicemail a couple of minutes later from a young lady that stated that they didn't have the Cinnamon Dessert pizzas in stock and would I like an order of Garlic Bread instead... Out of Stock - hey, it happens... I return the call - just before 5p - and the phone was answered by a gentleman that rattled off something like "Thank you for calling Mountain Mike's, can you please hold?" Of course, before I can say anything I'm out in hold - hey it happens... I'm on Hold, listening to the alternating ads, music and obligatory "Your time is very important to us, we'll be right with you..." 10 minutes later, I'm still on hold with not even a live person coming on and saying "thanks for waiting, really we'll be right with you, we're swamped..." type of thing... I decide to go ahead and jump in the car and head on down, going to have to go there anyways to pick up the order... I drive down to the location and walk in the door, to the counter and see a the back of a young lady who's on the phone and another guy through the doorway looking at what appears to be another phone in the wall... he says something to someone and I recognize the voice - he's the one who initially answered the phone and put me on hold... I wait at the counter for assistance and after another employee comes out, does something with the POS, walks by me and then back into the backroom, the young lady who was on the phone finally gets off the phone and turns around and notices me... comes up with a smile and getting and apologizes for the wait... I asked her if her name was Sabrina and she said yes, I told her that I had tried to call her back and then showed her on my cellphone that I was, in fact, still on Hold (the timer was at 24 MINUTES)... she apologized and stated she had been trying to take care of this huge phone order... hey it happens... Anyways, she explained to me that they were out of the dessert pizza and would I like breadsticks - I asked how about the mini churros? She blushed and stated that they had the churros (and the dessert pizza dough) but lacked the cinnamon dust/topping... (I guess going to the Food for Less next door to purchase cinnamon and sugar is a no no) I said ok, I'll take some breadsticks... she completed the order (comping the breadsticks, Thank You) and told me they needed about 7-8 minutes for the breadsticks... timestamp on my receipt was 5:26p I took a seat and during the next 25 minutes or so sat and waited for my order... listening to the gentleman who initially answered the phone talk with a couple of other employees about the next day, changes in scheduling, fixing some time clock error... all amusing... fun times for a people watcher... After a couple of false alarms where I thought my order was brought to the front counter (no it was for people who had walked in the door) I got my order at 5:53p... Sabrina again smiled and apologized for the delay... Anyways, got them home to the hungry family and we ate... although the pizzas were hot, the dough didn't seem to be cooked through and seemed a little bland... As I mentioned, I don't think we'll be ordering from there again - waiting for nearly an hour for a couple of pizzas and breadsticks that weren't that all fantastic or cheap... plus on hold for over 20 minutes? I guess I should have stayed on hold in the restaurant to see how long it would have taken for someone to pick up the line... So I ordered food on 7/26 and received a text message at 8:10pm that it would be delivered at 8:35 pm. It never happened. Then I got a text at 8:46pm saying, "Hi... your delivery from Mountain Mike's Pizza has been modified or canceled. Please reach out to them directly for more information." I called the restaurant and the lady on the phone said "No, it says your food will be delivered. We used DoorDash because we don't have a driver tonight. They should be there soon." It never delivered and Mountain Mike's close at 9pm. I called back on 7/27 and was placed on hold for 25 min and told that only a manager can issue a refund and he wasn't in today and to call back tomorrow." I called back again on 7/28 and asked for the manager and he wasn't there. I asked what his name is and was told Gill is the manager and no one in the restaurant is able to issue electronic refunds. I provided my name and phone number for Gill to call me and never heard back. So now I'm going through my bank to report over $50 of fraud since I paid for a product I never received. This location is grossly unprofessional and lacks a sense of urgency for rectifying their mistakes. I will never order from this ratchet location ever again. read more
