Pizza, pizza. Oh wait that's that other place, This is Mountain Mike's pizza. Pretty good pizza- even though it is not wood fired. I think this is one of the best pizza's served up in Madera. The pepperoni pizza- I call grease cup pizza, you can imagine why I am sure lol it is good though. This location has decent customer service, sometimes the employees do not care much about keeping the business clean though. I usually order delivery, with delivery I have never had any issues with wait time or topping issues. Mountain Mike's does offer a lunch buffet Mon-Fri 11-2pm and I believe a night time buffet one day a week, I cannot remember which day that is though. The price for the lunch with a drink is $9.75 clean salad bar with fresh topping choices. The pizza keeps coming out fresh during the lunch buffet, all kinds- from combination, ham and pineapple, pepperoni etc. They also bring out jalapeño garlic and cheese bread. They offer a stamp card for the lunch buffet and after you buy 7 you get one lunch buffet free. If you have kids and are dining in there are some video games and win a prize machines. There is also a room big enough for 30 or more people if you have a party or event. There are TV's throughout the place and a self serve soda machine. Beer and wine are available too, so you can get saucy while grubbn. read more

Not a lot for kids in madera, so like that there are a couple pizza places with games. This place is clean and keeps up on the pizza buffet. They stay safe with the usuals wouldn't mind seeing a different pizza in the buffet but good enough. They're always nice when we do come here. read more

To be quite frank. This location has got to be the worst mountain miles I've ever experienced They're skimpy with the toppings, the pizza looks as though they just threw the ingredients on top with no effort, it looks like a mess The service is underwhelming, there's a 20% discount when ordering TAKEOUT online and when I had gone to pick it up and pay they say it's only for dine in. Then why let it be an option and when asked they said they'd add the 20% discount. So cool, right... wrong. On the receipt it says "20%" but for a $36 pizza there's a discount for $3.60, that's 10%. The chicken wings hit the spot, they were a perfect size, seasoned very well. The service was amazing as well, thank you to the owner of this location for letting my family get more toppings on our pizza without charging us. However we did have one pizza that had a wrong topping, but the owner was extremely kind enough to let us still have the pizza and make us a new one of free charge. 10/10 would love to come back here again when I visit Madera. read more

Their soda machine was dirty & has not been cleaned at all. Every time me and my spouse gotten a new drink there was gooey gunk in the cup coming from the soda machine. Haven't been here for a while and decided to try them again as I saw they had a lunch buffet. Pricing was a tad higher than I expected. We got a booth and went up to get some Pizza sadly none was available, lady said there would be some coming in 5 minutes. They put out one Pepperoni pizza which was quickly gone as people were waiting. So decided to try the salad buffet, decent options some of the tomatoes were soggy. This was the worst experience from this location I've ever experienced. First of all, I paid $57 and some change but that's only cause I had a 20% coupon. I ordered a large pepperoni and a large sizzling bacon classic. This places prices are crazy. Second, I ordered the Sizzlin' Bacon Classic and it didn't have of the green onions it like it had in the picture. I used to order this pizza all the time and it always had the green onions on it. The bacon seemed like it was all clump together and not cooked right. That pizza had so much clumped bacon that it made the pizza very salty. I also ordered thin crust, and this definitely was not thin crust. They also have a DoorDash person delivering the pizza and not their own people. I will never EVER go back here!! Tonight, we purchased a large 1/2 &1/2 pizza, the center was cold and cheese uncooked, it was only after we began to eat it, did we find out that the order was wrong. I'm not sure what happened to this pizza place. But it's not the same, no greeting from the staff, it was dark, and not really clean. Mountain Mikes Pizza is going the way most restaurants are going, overpriced, no personal touch, and ran by people who don't care. The lady who answered proceeded to tell me that she needed to know at what time did I want to schedule the pick up. She said the orders take around 20-25 minutes. I said I could go in half an hour. "30 minutes?" she asked. Then she said the next opening would be at 4:20. At that point, I hung up. Aug 2023 used Slice app to make a $50 order at 3:35 PM. I live 1 mile away. I received online notification that pizza would be delivered at something like 4:25 PM. At 5:10 I called Slice svc rep. He called them, did not get back to me for about 10 minutes or more, saying that they advised that they were extremely busy. Asked if I get some type of coupon or discount for being forgotten, he advised they don't do that. The order arrived 5:30 - 2 hours later than ordered. Lots of sliced cucumber in salad instead of "good stuff." Expensive pizza and salad very ordinary, other cheaper places have better fare. The last time I patronized them was 2 years ago because of horrible service back then! The store had 2 customers and 2 employees visible, who ignored me at the counter for 10 minutes by my watch. I walked out. Absolutely terriible service, management, and overpriced pizza for the quality. Came to the Madera Speedway & decided to get pizza after the races, came here because I love Mountain Mikes Pizza. Came in at 10:28 order take out, hours say they close at 11, no apparently they make their own hours up. I was told they only were open for the last pick up order, when I asked if I could place an order they said no we were slow & stopped taking orders at 10:30! Not having consistent hours will make customers stop coming in, like I won't be back since I won't be able to tell when they close. read more

Not sure if they are under new ownership or what but everything went down. Standards, customer service, the buffet. They don't allow refills cause of covid but also don't wear masks at all lol. The buffet they put out 3-5 pizzas and don't replace anything so if you come later you get the old slices. The salad bar is trash either their lettuce looks wet or they don't have quality. They don't clean their tables and no longer have cable? They don't play sports or espn it's just the free stations now. I was in your Madera (Cleveland Ave.)location on November 3. It was a Saturday afternoon and not really very busy with the exception of the 16-18 person party in a private room. all in all there were only about 8 people total in the dining room. We waited over 45 minutes for our pizza and found that even others who had ordered larger orders behind us were being fulfilled. My niece (there were just three in our party) went to ask about our order. It was supposed to be a 10" Pikes Peak pizza, a mini pizza with ham, mushrooms and olives, chicken wings and a salad bar plus three drinks. We told the girl at the counter three different times it was to be a 10" pizza. She even told us the final time oh that's right you said that. When the order finally arrived the pizza looked much bigger but I didn't have a ruler so I didn't think much of it. After we were almost done eating one of the girls said you know the bill seemed awful big for what we ordered. I looked at the bill and said you are right she charged us for a large instead of a small. A difference of $9.00 more. The bill was $54.41. When I brought it to the attention of the girl who took the order. She said oh your right my fault. But there is nothing we can do you ate the pizza. I said actually they did not finish it because it more than they had planned to eat. But it still your fault you took the order and you are now even admitting it. I said I need to talk to your manager. She said she's busy in the back. I said, are you refusing for me to talk to your manager? She rolled her eyes at me and said wait. She came back and said the manager is too busy and cant come out. But she said it's your fault you ate the pizza and should have told us sooner. First the manager should never be to busy to deal with a customer who has an issue. Second it was the mistake of the cashier. Third we waited almost an hour for our pizza. Our order was delayed from a mistake in the back. To be honest they probalby mixed up the tags. But all in all it was a unpleasureable experience. It really leaves a bad taste in my mouth on how customers are handled. And pushing blame onto the customer. The arrogance and I really didn't care for the attitude. I was very displeased to say the least last time I came in over 2 years ago. I vowed never to come back. My last visit... The server who helped me was rude and not helpful. My 7 year old was hungry and wanted pizza from this place and boy I was not looking forward to eating here. My visit today has completely been the opposite! The girls here are wonderful and pleasant.. They smile for one...something today place didn't do before. The customer in front of me even told their order... The girl repeated the order and the customer said it was wrong when it came out. Whether it was or not... Without hesitation... The girl working here didn't argue...
