We ordered pizzas two separate times for a party of 6 adults and kids. Both times the outer crust was burned and was black. The orders were over $50 and we were disappointed that they don't have quality control at their Fallbrook restaurant. Their gluten-free pizza is very good, but the outer crust was burned both times. Friendly staff, quick service, great food. I ordered (pizza and garlic sticks) over the phone. I only took a quick peek around while I paid (and got a military discount). Everything looked fresh and clean. It was ready on time and when I got home, the pizza and garlic sticks were perfect. I have had them deliver and have picked up a few times now and each time I have been 100% satisfied. If you want fast, cheap pizza, go to Little Caesars. Ok..... first time at Mountain Mikes Pizza tonight....... should I finish this post? Yes.... I think they need to know that they have some serious issues they need to fix. We wanted to give them a try ourselves as I have read many bad reviews and I just won't judge a place unless I have experienced it first hand myself. 1) salad bar, no lettuce except old brown so we decided against that. The rest of the things in the salad bar were far from fresh. 2) Asked if they could fill up the Parmesan cheese glass shakers that all of them had just one-two shakes left. Instead the man hands me 3 packets of Parmesan for 4 people. 3) jalapeño poppers were a mess and tasted like cardboard. For 4 people we got one small cup of ranch dressing had to ask for more. The breading we think was pizza dough which was dry and falling off the jalapeños and tasteless and when you bit in the inside they were uncooked and doughy. 4) mozzarellas sticks same pizza type breading with no taste at all 5) hot wings were probably the only thing that weren't ruined. 6) pizza was ok I thought it tasted like cardboard or something from the freezer. 7) Our plates were never picked up in between what they served us. We just kept piling them up on the table across from us thinking maybe they would get the hint. 8)Trash on the floor nobody cleaned up. 9) We had to ask for silverware and plates. They gave us some paper plates then finally a gal brought out regular plates when we asked. Our bill was over $85.00 food and 2 drinks and 2 beers for 4 people. As much as I wanted to like this place, I have to say the management needs work big time and the food really lacks for the price we paid, even if it was cheap, we would never go back. A lot of workers for the horrible service is what we noted. I posted this review on our local Facebook page and the manager was tagged. This place is linked to grub hub but they kept canceling our order unles we we willing to pay 40 dollars above the price of our COMPLETED ORDER thru Grib Hub and push our order to a minimum of an hour wait when our address is less than 6 miles away. The manager admitted it was all about the money and even though we had a valid order he refused to honor the order unless we paid 40 bucks over the grub hub price. WTF I thought this was AMERICA. Integrity doesn't matter?. You have an agreement for a delivery you contracted thru Grub Hub, but you try to Jack the customer... I wish I didn't have to give it a low review, but I have no choice. We drove to this location after my boyfriend convinced us we had to try "the best pizza" that he's ever tried. Besides the initial employee at the counter not giving us the salad bar plate (that came with the unlimited salad bar we purchased), nor the pitcher or glasses (that came with the pitcher of beer we purchased), I though the pizza and appetizer garlic bread we ordered was delicious (especially the garlic bread). We had ordered the mountain size ($36 mind you) of their version of a supreme pizza (veggies, sausage, pepperoni, etc), and could only finish 3 slices, so we took the rest home to eat throughout the week. The next day, my mother found a small rubberband in her slice that she had brought with her to work for lunch. I understood that it could have accidentally become mixed in with vegetables or something, and took a piece for myself the next day for lunch. Upon almost finishing my slice, I myself found another rubberband in the pizza. I then tore apart and dug around in the remainder of the pizza slice to find another one that was hidden under the cheese layer. This is absolutely unacceptable and dangerous, and had a child eaten a slice there is a chance they could have choked. I wish I didnt have this experience as the pizza was delicious, but after wasting $36 on a pizza that wasnt even half eaten, I can't and won't be back. This location is friendly, consistent, has a nice atmosphere, and always good service. A go to for good pizza.

Consistently good every time. I love their crust. Soft dough with a crisp bottom. Their toppings are generous and prices favorable. I've only ordered takeout, but the restaurant is always bright, clean and spacious. There are tv's for sports and video games for the kids. We either order from Fallbrook for work or from the Oside locale for home. No complaints regarding either. They are definitely one of my preferred pizza joints. read more

Fallbrook has a lot of pizza places nearby, and while we have 2-3 that we go to often, mountain Mike's has been our favorite for the last few months. Crispy crust, lots of toppings (love the linguica!) and tangy sauce that you can't get at the other places in town. Service went to zero 4. After living in Fallbrook my entire life 29 years and being a pizza connoisseur I can tell you a little bit about the pizza at Mountain Mike's and the pizza in the town of Fallbrook in Bonsall. Mountain Mike's had a slow start because their prices were a little high but they seemed to be because they must use better ingredients because the pizza was so good and layer it with pepperoni Well since they opened they changed their pricing and came up with some deals now they are definitely the best pizza place in town with the best pricing that go along with it. Village pizza in Bonsall is OK but inconsistent some days I bring village pizza home and I feel I should have just cooked a frozen one, it must be the chef if the regional chefs not it your not going to get a good pizza. Trupiano's in Fallbrook can I have some good flavor but is very soggy and gross to eat with all of the grease. Grease monkey and they're pricing is a little over the top. Funny because the owner has two other restaurants that are Italian restaurants that serve pizza and both of them are much better than Trupiano's will never get Trupianos pizza again, last time I ordered over the phone when I got there they said they misplaced my order well make it now with now compensation for their mistake? Soggy pizza and poor customer service no thanks. Mountain Mike's pizza has really good deals even buy one get one free deals and 40% off days! Cheapest pizza in town and they are not cutting corners on ingredients I can tell you that for sure. They have three or four times more pepperoni then any pizza place in Fallbrook Bonsall or any pizza place that I can think of. Sauce is delicious and the crust is sweet. I've read the reviews and honestly was a little hesitant. However, I'm glad I made the decision to come in. I did order to go so I can't say much about the salad bar, but looking around, the place looked clean. I do like that this type of place is here in our little village-the kids can play the arcade games while the adults can watch a game. I ordered the bone-in, buffalo-style wings which were a little dry but tasty and I also ordered the Garlic Tuscan with the white sauce. I could've have gone without so much sun-dried tomatoes, but overall, it was good pizza. The crust was flavorful and sausage slices were plentiful. The best thing was the customer service-it was a great first impression of this place; the ladies greeted me when I came in and were helpful-they even looked to see if there were coupons available (which were not for my order) but nonetheless, she offered! Terrible. Terrible food and terrible service. The salad bar had BROWN lettuce (iceburg) and the Romain lettuce had knatts flying in and around it. Took them 20 minutes to put new lettuce out for their salad bar. Ordered a pizza that did not have real italianmeat sausage and they forgot to put the dried tomato on it. We will NEVER eat there again and do not recommend eating there. They had 4 employees working and we were the only ones in there and yet the service was very very slow. I was seriously disappointed with my entire experience with this place. I originally ordered a Lrg Pizza that had white sauce, garlic, chicken, and artichoke. I also ordered a med pepperoni pizza, and moz cheese sticks. This is what I received, a large pizza with red sauce and my ingredients, a small pizza, half pineapple half sausage and pepperoni, and an order of buffalo wings. It's obvious to what happened, the driver gave me an order from somebody else. This was confirmed when I checked my order and the receipt I was given. The receipt was for wings and that small half and half pizza. I called to get this situation fixed, i.e. have them fix my order. What I got was a horrible response. We can redeliver your order tomorrow, or a refund. I'm no pizza owner/manager however I would have made sure that that order was right. Not slouch it off till tomorrow, like they did. Unfortunately, the young lady ringing in our order couldn't figure out their own coupon, so I was overcharged by $2.00 -- no big deal....our order was $75 bucks, so what's another $2.00? 2. The Everest, because the young lady at the register said it was the best. The Chicken Club, because garlic, bacon, and chicken is always good (except at Mountain Mike's). Both Pizzas tasted like they were seasoned with extra salt. The crust was doughy, despite the toppings seemingly over-cooked. The cheese may not even be "real" cheese...hard to tell. 4. The Salad Bar: All was fresh and all-you-can-eat --earned this joint the 1 (and only) star. 5. The Drinks: 5 Bottomless Fountain sodas by Pepsi. Tasted like Pepsi, as expected. Despite friendly staff, a clean seating area, nice televisions, a decent salad bar, and thirst-quenching Pepsi on tap, I think we'll stick with Pala Mesa Pizza -where the crust is amazing, the cheese is plentiful (and definitely real), and the Sodas are served in a can. Wow wow wow! My family was SO EXCITED to have a new pizza place in town. We looked at their menu and decided to order an thin crust pizza with just cheese and pepperoni. The pepperonis were all almost brown and hard to the touch. And the cheese looked baked into the crust. The pizza was also cute super super small. Like a piece you'd give to a 1-2 year old. We thought that was odd. We were skeptical, BUT we hadn't tried it yet. So we dug in. One bite and I almost spit it out. No joke! It was like a SALT BOMB had exploded in my mouth. And THE GREASE. The grease was everywhere. It was literally dripping off the pizza and seeping into the box. It had probably only been in the box for 10-15 minutes at the most. It was so salty it hurt my throat. I've never tasted anything like that. The cheese was salty, the sauce was salty and the pepperoni... oh my word. It was like little packets of salt. The person who answered the phone fought us on delivery based on our address but they have delivered here before. After getting managerial approval, even though we live 3.5 miles away they finally "made an exception". Boneless wings were burned and tasted old. Chicken is not great quality, lots of grizzle. Pizza crust was not cooked all the way through, pepperoni was tasty but that's the only saving grace. Delivery driver did keep his distance which was appreciated and was fast, that's the only reason I gave two stars.
