Dennis really helped us out of a pinch. We could not be more grateful to the services that he and his crew provided for us! Wonderful atmosphere that was improved upon by the willingness of the staff to go above and beyond with their service. read more

Great food and ambiance! Went on a Friday night and enjoyed some drinks while listening to music. The beyond burger was delish

Food was horrible. Ordered Fried pickles, wings, onion rings, burger, and a salad. No seasoning on the burger, meat over worked and tough. Not sure if it's because of C19 that there is no table side service. My husband said he would go back for beer and maybe try pizza but that's it. read more

We went here off the reviews, but it was disappointing. The food was ok, but it was brought out at different times. They brought my wife's pizza out first and by the time she was about done my burger came out. I talked to the cashier who took our order and I did get a refund on my burger. The lady behind the bar was helpful on helping me pick out a beer to drink, since I'm not a big drinker or tried much craft beer. read more

The only thing keeping this place from 5 stars is the self serve stations and poor hosting. Levi at the bar is a rock star and deserves all the 5 stars. My husband and I came here twice on our little weekend vacation. First time we got a couple of salads with grilled chicken and cheese curds. Those white cheese curds reminded us of our Minnesota and Wisconsin adventures. They were that good. The salads were filling with fresh grilled chicken. The husband got a flight and loved the Hefeweizen the best. Second time around we called ahead and ordered pizza to go. It was an hour and a half wait. Yikes. But when we got there to pick it up, it had been sitting there for at least 15 min. Once it got home it wasn't quiet as hot as we would have liked. But the flavor was good. This would have been 5 stars had those "little things" not have added up. The self serve stations are definitely not COVID-19 safe. The hostess could use some additional training on leading first timers. read more

So disappointed in MFB today. Ordered chips and spinach dip plus 1 order of sliders. Spinach dip came out hot and good. 20+ minutes later no sliders. A waitress walked past with a plate but didn't stop. My husband finally went to ask. The explanation for our food sitting under a heat lamp "your order number was entered wrong". My question is how did we get our chips and dip?? Soggy sliders and no recourse for a $43 lunch. read more

This place has a boot shaped beer which was FUN. They have craft beers and flights so you can try different ones. We ordered loaded fries, wings, pizza and fried pickles. The pizza was a little disappointing because the menu says meatballs but it's really just ground hamburger like any other pizza place. The fried pickles were not for me because they were bread and butter pickles. We also got the fries and pizza about 30 mins before the other stuff. So the other parties didn't have their entree and we had already finished the pizza. Overall: decent food, good beer, long waits read more

Great atmosphere and family friendly. Like the beer selection, some suitable to every stomach

Waited 45 minutes for 3 of our 6 orders and 15 later asked what's going on and was told waiting on French fries. 15 later asked again and still no resolve. Asked again and finally brought out 2/3 rds of our order. They never brought our daughters meal. Hour waiting and we were over it and asked Togo boxes. They comped meal but then then wait staff girls said nasty stuff on our way out. With all the choices in hochatown I recommend ANYWHERE ELSE. I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND WE COME HERE 3 times a year. Only reason for a 1 is -1wasn't available UPDATE FYI CREDIT CARD THAT WE USED HAS BEEN CHARGED DOUBLE AFTER SERVER INFORMED US OUR MEAL WAS COMPED DUE TO THE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. NOW WE WILL BE FILING FRAUD CHARGES AGAINST THESE IDIOTS. BEWARE AND STAY AWAY read more

The beer is amazing!! Try the front porch and the strawberry. Very subtle and well made on site. Our two year old loved the yard games - there is no longer a playground here though even though it's in pictures! Tried the nachos and they were AMAZING. read more

We were initially told 1 hr for our food when we ordered, which we understand. Here it is 2hrs later and we still have not received our food. I have no idea how it's going to taste so I can't judge that, but the wait time is ridiculous even considering this COVID BS. We were told 30 mins ago that our food would be out in the next 10 min. Update...After talking to the manager, it was discovered that our ticket was lost. They immediately cooked our order and offered us a refund. We left with our dinner within about 5mins after contacting the manager. The pizza was very good and I would be willing to give them another try. read more

Coming from someone who managed a Brewery for years. Let me start with this, we went on a Sunday (lower staff day) and the food was really really good. The beer was also well made. I'm a big fan of Hefeweizens and their Hochaweizen was top quality. The service wasn't fantastic.. Now, I know they were understaffed for a slow day, but we sat inside and had to order at the bar. I would trade so many food runners for wait staff who can run their own food, personally. Bar staff was friendly, but there was one staff that took our number before we done ordering which caused confusion for their staff when it was time for desert to be delivered. We're also still waiting on our TOGO box, 12 hours later.... Lol read more

Came back again. We had pizza this time. Tubby Keith and Kitchen Sink. Both on gluten free crust. Delicious. Bloody mary was great again. I'm sure we'll come back every time we are in town. Oh yeah, the ranch dressing is amazing! read more

Went here first time. I had burger. Husband had turkey sandwich. Very mediocre at best but pricey. Won't go back.

The pizza here was great! We got pizza and a salad to share and a kids meal. The fries were fresh and really good, chicken was just like chicken from sonic. Seemed just frozen. Only thing I didn't love was that you ordered at the front, and the person checking us out wasn't friendly or helpful at all. I was asking questions and got blank stares from her. The food was really good. Then you have to go up to the bar to order any drinks, and our bartender was very helpful and nice. It would have been nice to have someone wait on you vs ordering at the front and then having to get up to order a beer. Makes it really hard when you have kids with you. And the employee up front could have been friendly. read more

They usually have great live music, either inside or outside. Their pizza was surprisingly very good!

Staff has been super friendly every time I've come! Great burgers, great beer, nice atmosphere, and decent prices. Gotta check this place out! God bless! read more

My family spends a week in Hochatown 2 times a year. We always hit up Mountain Fork a couple times while we are here. Pizza is ALWAYS delicious and didn't disappoint this time! This time we decided to order for take out due to COVID. We ordered $100 worth of pizza and salad, 4 pizzas and 3 salads. It was tough/long trying to get in to pick up. The poor hostess was trying to seat people, answer the phone, and check you in to pick up your order while a couple other young ladies just stood over to the side chatting and playing, waiting to give you your order. Then they told us AFTER we paid that they were out of Ceasar salad dressing. We could have changed the order had they told us before, who wants a dry Ceasar salad. Food is delicious. Management needs help... read more

Didn't eat there but I had beers and listened to the live music, both of which were phenomenal. They have a great outdoor area for families with kids. Friendly staff. read more

Great family friendly atmosphere. Food was solid. Burgers do take longer than the other food, but they were good. Lots of drink selection, and you can walk around in the area before/after you eat. Don't get dessert here-- walk down to the delicious ice cream place a few doors down. read more

Didn't eat here, so i cant comment on the food. But they have a patio that DOESNT welcome pets. And i think that's super stupid. read more

Brick oven pizza. Cool place but lacks a little energy. Pizza was NY style, very tasty. Knock em on service and energy. Food didn't blow my mind but was very solid. Better pizza than down the road but they have a better atmosphere. Pizzas taste more important to me. They have a few beers they brew on site. Like 3 or 4 choices. Nothing too exciting to me. read more

Picked up a to go order of large pepperoni pizza and fried pickles. Very disappointed for the price we paid ($36). One side of the pizza had no cheese, and very few pepperonis. Fried pickles were very soggy ( we were exactly 2 minutes from the place so excessive drive time wasn't the issue). And no ranch given for pickles. read more

We personally own a cabin in this area we have gone to this place over a dozen times to pick up food and they have faithfully with 100% return got the order wrong every single time. Anyone visiting this area I would highly encourage you to look elsewhere for food, for example Buffalo Grill is a great alternative and they actually get your order right. If you don't believe this review, take it upon yourself to test this place out. read more

Ordered at 6:40, then at 8:00 we were told they ran out of pizza... we were then told to order something else and waited another hour till closing time to receive it. Absolutely ridiculous... The food that we did receive (burgers, chicken tenders, and fries) after over an hour of waiting was subpar and disappointing at best. Burgers were dry and made incorrectly, chicken was over cooked, and one of the orders of fries were dark brown and limp with oil. We won't be returning. read more

Called in takeout order two nights later for a house salad and a Caesar salad to go with the steaks we grilled out. Large tasty salads worth the $8 per salad price. read more

Great food, friendly service and love the atmosphere! Recommend the pizza and the smokehouse burger!

The beer is awesome! Really, really good! The food though.....ehhhh not the best. The Queso is not great, the cheese curds are very greasy, and the pizzas are just bland and average at best. I would recommend them for beer only and pass on the restaurant portion. read more

Waited 35-minutes for two sliders. Are you kidding me? What kind of craziness is that? Pizza comes out in 10-minutes but two little beef Pattie's cannot be cooked in 30? No apologies from the staff either, instead the waitress wanted to argue about there being "two kitchens". She then offered to refund the meal but walked away before we could hand her the credit card. And on top of it all, the friggin' fries were cold! Will not be going here again. read more

The wood fired pizza is delicious! Much better than Grateful Head pizza, in my opinion. Great craft beers as well! read more

Fun local brewery with pizza & burger fare. Local band played & were very engaging with the audience. Noisy, but expected for this type of venue. Good selection of craft beer & local wine. Full bar service. It was a blast. read more

The service was a snail race. The workers had terrible attitudes. The food was mediocre. I would not recommend for even my worst enemy.

Super impressed! My husband and I drink domestic beer and don't ever venture out of our comfort zone but we loved one of their light beers (much better then the beaver bend brews). The service was great and our server was very personable. We got burgers and they were huge with home cut French fries and also got onion rings that were amazing but not very many. read more

I'm from Dallas, and have tried a wide variety of beers including Lakewood. IMO the Milk Porter is the best dark beer I've ever had. If you visit here, and love beer, check this place out. Bar service is awesome and they give you cool glasses with the drink. read more

This place is FANTASTIC!!!! The serving is a little weird. However, the bartender named Patrick took great care of us! We sat in the bar area and ordered a dark beer called Crumpet. This was great beer. We had their chips, queso and salsa. The queso was amazing!!!!! Very good. We also ordered their brick oven pizza called The Hula Pie. Th pizza was great too. After we finished our meal, we moved up to the bar where Patrick continued to take care of us. He let us test several different beers prior to ordering. My husband and I kept going back to the Crumpet. It's just a great beer! read more

The set up is a little awkward because you can't get your food and beer at the same time. You have to order your food and pay for it as soon as you walk in. Fountain drinks, water and tea are self serve. Then, you have to walk around to the other side to order your beer from the bar and seat yourself. The food is good when they get the order correct. Sadly they were struggling when we visited. They forgot the salad dressing, messed up on our pizza and hamburger steaks. They did correct it, but it took a long time. The French fries and fried pickles were a hit as well as the pepperoni pizza. The pizzas are handmade so the crust was inconsistent in thickness, but still good. They are generous with toppings though! Nice outside area that is heated and dog friendly. Would go back but not a must to revisit. read more
