I normally wouldn't go to that place like Applebee's but I was super surprised the service service was excellent. The food was actually pretty good. It was served me in a timely manner. My glass of sweet tea harbor was empty, and the bartender/waitress and waiter handled all the business food was fresh, hot and delivered in a perfect manner. You go Applebee's so many times I down talk to you I had to go all the way to Paris Texas to be shown the Applebee's can be pretty good. read more

Walked in to get a door dash order and asked around where i could find my dash order and found a lady named sandy and i asked her if my order was ready and she gave me look while i was just waiting for her to respond and she walked off and ignored my question. they are very rude , and do not care about the customer im not coming back to door dash nor am i ever gonna eat there after the service i experienced. read more

We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. The table of 4 all ordered burgers. We had appetizers too. Our waiter bought the wrong appetizer out. He exchanged it for the right one. When the burgers came out, they weren't what we ordered either. He told us he would take the appetizer off, but when we got the check, it was still on there. Went there during lunch and ordered the chicken with shrimp and potatoes with tea and everything came out quick and hot with great flavor. The tea could have been a little fresher or the container cleaned as it had a little sour taste to it but others than that I have no complaints and the bartender Amanda did an excellent job. I had a very unprofessional experience at the Applebee's in Paris tx. As we were finishing up our drinks at the table we paid out via the small tablets at the table. We had laid cash at the far end of the table next to the windows for the tip. The waiter comes be reaches across us and says let me go ahead and get this. Just to remind everyone it was his tip. But how did he know that we could have been counting money. Anyways I have never seen nor herd a waiter/waitress do such a thing. Only bright spot was the bartender, Megan. The rest of the staff is lazy and lead by a pathetic excuse for a manager. He sat in the bar with other staff watching football. I understand if some of the staff were finished with their shift but they need to remove their name tags if they're going to hang out to eat and watch the game. The food was atrocious: fries had obviously been sitting out for a long time and were reheated, sandwich was mediocre without much meat, au jus dipping gravy was lukewarm. I understand that I walked in at 9:20, but if you can't do your job properly then go do something else. I will be staying in Paris from time to time on business and will definitely go somewhere else to eat. Fast food would have been a better choice tonight! read more

Just called in a car side order. Asked for extra chicken, willing to pay for it. Pretty sure the guy put the phone down, proceeded to argue with his coworker about something else (I was able to overhear everything), got on the phone and flatly refused. Not really sure if he asked his manager, but I'm pretty bummed I can't get extra chicken tenders. So much for customer service. :/ I will say the in-restaurant service is much better. read more

Went to apple bees at around 9:30 pm and finally got our drinks at 10 pm.. we ordered shark bowl with a gummy shark, perfect margarita, blue raspberry margarita and 3 waters and a mango smoothie .. they spilled the mango smoothie and left it there for around 20 or 30 minutes till the time I'm typing this right now.. disgusting. Second , didn't even have shark gummy in shark bowl.. that was the main reason my father bought the shark bowl.. since there was no shark gummy the person who got the blue raspberry thought it was theirs started drinking it.. they took the drink away and didn't remake it until around 15 minutes later. Makes absolutely no sense at all.. my mother had to go up to the bar to get the shark bowl. They forgot all about the waters.. my mom had to bring it up.. took 40 minutes to get 3 cups of water. Our food came and I ordered noodles with no Alfredo sauce and got the sauce with it. I ate it but was unhappy.. manager said there were 2 people that were new but everyone did an awful job. terrible experience and absolutely do not recommend coming back again.. Kristen and the cooks here brought back my faith in the Applebee's brand with my visit here. I seated myself at the bar and was greeted immediately by a smile and "welcome to Applebee's" by Kristen. It was busy, but I didn't go unnoticed. Kristen mentioned the specials of wings and burgers. I went with the wings and was not disappointed. The wings were hot and crispy, just as I ordered. The celery was cold, as well the blue cheese. Before entering, I noticed only one review, which is good in my opinion. It seems some folks only give bad ones, and if they've been here this long and screwed up, this page would be full by now. The manager came by to say hello, didn't ask her name. Also, I was asked by others if I needed anything. Good job! I had eliminated this chain, until I stopped here tonight, by chance. read more

Awesome place to eat just needs an update. Been going there for years and at 5 it's so boring and the staff isn't as happy and outgoing.

I'm only giving this two stars, as the manager was extremely nice and apologetic about the extremely rude hostess. My friend and I couldn't get in the front door--we tugged and tugged. I saw the two hosts on duty walk by, look out the window, spot us, then go about their business. We stood there double checking the restaurant hours and pulled at the door some more. When a group of patrons began to form behind us, the hostess schlepped out and opened the door for us, giving my friend a once over with a bored, borderline annoyed look on her face. No apology or explanation, just turned on her heel and walked back inside. We ignorantly followed her to a booth--she didn't ask whether we wanted a booth or a table. Then she mumbled out some weak explanation about the door being jammed and scurried off. We left and my friend called the manager. We weren't offered any compensation, but he was super friendly and apologetic. Regardless, I will not go back. The food has gone downhill, anyway, ever since they began staying open till 2am, turning the place into basically a bar. My theory is that they're making most of their money on $7 and $8 drinks, thus have gotten lazy with the food, and most certainly with the service. read more

Probably the best meal I ever had at an Applebees. I often comment that I have never had a memorable meal at Applebees. Maybe I have now. I am doing the Weight Watchers thing-3rd week now. Searching the WW app I found some suitable choices. BTW, the Chili's here in Paris is abysmal. I ate at the bar and Shana was my server. I ordered Bourbon Street Chicken and shrimp. Served on a fajita flatiron. I admit it. I ordered like Meg Ryan. No mushrooms but lots of sauteed onions-well carmelized. And no potatoes-substitute steamed brocoli. The kitchen nailed it! The onions were carmelized perfectly and the chicken breast was still moist & tender. A challenging cut of yardbird to do right. The shrimp were a little limp but otherwise tasty. The broccoli was also steamed well but still a bit al dente. Well done! I noticed a manager out in the servibg area abd back to the kitchen. A well managed location rises above the rest. Do not go here! We were in the middle of watching the game , we had just arrived in town and ate dinner with a few drinks. During the 3rd quarter we were told we couldn't be served anymore. We were not loud or drunk. I video taped all of us and the drunk patrons sitting at the bar who were still being served. I will be taking this to corporate and advising all the people I have contact with not to eat at this location . read more

Chicken tendies are pretty good, the French fries that came with it aren't the best but they aight I mean I've had better like chick fil a chicken tendies are the bomb but I mean they just sell chicken so overall these are a eight out of ten would eat again read more

This place is terrible. I've known it was terrible, but decided to give it a second chance today. That was a huge mistake! Not only was my food almost inedible, it made me sick!! I may be the first person to get sick from eating a salad. I will never go back and I encourage anyone else to avoid the place also if they value their health. My wife and I had a very bad experience last weekend. We stopped at Applebee's in Paris, texas for dinner. We ordered our meals and waitress brought out our salads. My wife took a bite of her salad and immediately grimaced. I thought she'd bitten into something that had hurt her tooth, but saw that she was trying to keep from throwing up. She slid her plate toward me and pointed. I saw a slug, about two inches long crawling through her salad. We notified the waitress, canceled our order and left. read more
