Not a great experience. Took a set of TW200 tires in to be mounted. They destroyed both the rear tire and wheel. Never offered to do anything to replace what was damaged...I pushed the issue and they still refused to cover the damaged items. Seems like they stand by their work...until things go wrong, then it's on the customer. Danny, the owner just commented on my review...said 'he would look into it' He knows good and well what happened and it was his decision to not stand behind his work! Don't be fooled by his post...if he damages you bike, he will likely do the same thing and send you packing!!! read more

Add me to the list of fans of Mototire. I just took in my Speed Triple to have new tires fitted. Bought them online and needed them installed ASAP as the cords had just started to show. I dropped in without an appointment on a Friday around 3 and the guys put the bike on the lift. I went to the bank for some cash and by the time I got back the rear tire was already mounted and the front was being balanced! I'd say, all-in-all the service took 30 minutes. I usually have all my work done at my dealer, including tire mounting, and am always happy with the work but there's no doubt I'm only coming to Mototire for installation from now on. These guys are great. Friendly, professional and quick. You can buy your rubber from then directly; if your choice isn't in stock they will order it and get you taken care of. First and foremost I have to say that this shop "get's it"... Customer is phenomenal and the quality of their work is fantastic. Stopped in just before they closed on a Wednesday, we discussed tire options and was told they had to order my front and to stop by Friday. Was also told that both my front and rear were "pretty standard metric bike sizes" so no need for a deposit. Friday came, I decided to roll on up in the early afternoon and wow!! the bays were slammed. I expected them to ask me to come back in a bit but to my surprise I was greeted with a smile and they stated it would be just a few minutes. They weren't fooling either, I was standing at the counter for less then 8 minutes before someone was pooling my bike in onto the lift and they got to work. It was great to see a shop were everyone was working in sync with one another and even though they were really busy, they were still friendly and showed real care in the work. I limped in with a very low rear tire from a nail. It was near closing time but they said they would put me back on the road anyway. Looking at the nail they weren't sure if the tire was repairable or not but would know more after they got a closer look. They were able to patch the tire when they could have easily sold me a new set instead. I recently moved here and didn't know where to get my bike serviced but I can now say I have the place I'll be getting my service done. read more

As soon as I pulled into the parking spot there, I was greated with smiles and waves; they even came out to the car to grab my wheels & tired from the trunk. A lost art in today's 'Cycle-Rama' type chain stores and dealerships. I was refered by a fellow rider when he learned that I'm always working on project bikes, said I would like their prices. I ordered 2 tires off the internet, super cheap, and brought the to Moto Tire; along with the old ones on the rims. They were able to: dispose of the old tires, mount and balance the new ones for just $25 per tire. Thank you for saving me the hours of frustration and chewed up rims. I brought in a rim mounted with an old tire and a new tire I had bought online. Ten minutes and twenty bucks later, I was on my way. These guys are sharp, quick, inexpensive and courteous. Finding this combination in the powersports industry is so rare that most consider it impossible. They also sell tires and will do a full tire change without your needing to remove the wheels--at an extra charge. This is one of the few shops I would trust to do that for me. read more

Great Prices!!! -- Although I was ready to spend $$$, he was honest enough to tell the truth and saved me $$! The original price I was quoted was great! But then when he told me the problem was going to be less costly, WOW! FAST - the phone would not stop ringing. The power company shut off the power for repair. When I showed up. He got right to my bike. And while juggling the cordless phone, talking to APS, answering ALL my questions. He got the job done FAST!!!!!! HONEST!!! -- I rolled up with a flat rear tire ready to spend around $300. He tells me that the front tire looks low too. I think to myself, "typical up-sell". I wait for the, "you might need 2 tires." Never came. Not only did he NOT try and sell me a front tire that I DIDN'T need (just needed some air - which he filled), but he also found out that it was only the stem of the rear tire. Didn't even need a rear tire. By being HONEST, he saved me over $200. I was more than willing and ready to pay what ever he said was needed. I told him that too. He said, all you need is air in the front tire, already did that. And the rear tire just needed a stem. Of course I tipped him more than what he was asking for! Because I had a nail, I trailered the bike and when I arrived, these guys hit it like a Pit crew helping to unload and get it into the shop. These guys rock. I ride a Scooter and it is almost impossible to get anyone with experience to change the tires, but after calling Danny he quoted out a fair price for new tires and told me to swing by when I had time. Like other reviews say the shop is smaller, but I always found these type of shops have the best service and expertise because the owners are typically the ones working on your rig. Scooters are notoriously difficult at times because I believe some of the manufacturing is a bit ,lets say, lower quality then on a 12k bike, and Danny did run into some trouble with the muffler. He is a trooper and got everything lined up, attached, balanced and changed. These guys are real pro's and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone with a bike and will be back with other rides when tires are needed. read more

See Danny at Mototire for your motorcycle tires. He put new tires on my '97 Road King and when he encountered problems with the front wheel locking up, he took the time to troubleshoot the problem. I ended up needing new brake pads, which he installed for me. I just walked across the street to RamJet's and bought them. Danny spent an extra 2 hours trying to figure out the issues with my bike, and did NOT charge me that time in labor. Customer service is what its all about at Mototire. In this day and age, we are becoming more accustomed to being treated disrespectfully and charged ridiculous prices for everything. Danny and his crew mounted tires on my '78 BMW R100RS today. A friend recc'd, and I wasn't aware of Mototire, since they are back off of Cave Creek a bit. You just don't see this place going up and down CC. Very nice to have a m/c tire specialist in the neighborhood. They took their time, and showed respect for my old, vintage bike. I was comfortable putting my life in their hands,......since I am now going to go out and drive this old motorcycle the way it was meant to be driven. Most shops first make you feel like crap for not being able to afford whatever they decide you need. These guys heard me out, went over my bike and called me with my options. Stoped in Moto tire today to check on a set of rubber for my cbr 1000rr. I have never been there before so thought I would try these guys. I normaly go to another shop for tires but just thought I would see if I could save a few dollars in this economy. Anyway I have been rideing quite a while since I was a kid an Im like 50 now. So going into a bike shop wasnt my first rodeo so to speak. So I drive up in my little s10 and walk in and was aproached by the owner or manager Im not sure what he was to be honest. He was a friendly guy no problem with that. He said he would be right with me and I said no problem Im in no hurry. He was finishing with another customer so I decided to look at the rack and see what he had to blow a couple minutes why he was finishing up. I normaly ride the Full Bore tires and normaly a 190 tire. I had been looking at a couple different ones this time like the diablos or the pilots . I also figured I would go up to the 200 which is the biggest back rubber I can put on my bike. Oh I was also looking at the shinkos. I know that with a big wide tire like that handling would be a little worse on the twisties but considering this is Phoenix how much turns do we really have because Phoenix is basicly on a square grid. Plus I wheelie quite a bit so the wide tire I figured would be a little more stable with some of the tire pressure let out. Im no stunter but I like to play around a little. Anyway the employee says to me I dont want the 200 tire and that shinkos are a shitty tire and he wont even stock them. When I was looking at his tire rack I noticed he had the Full Bore M1 tires I normaly ride. But they were the 190. So after a few seconds of him basicly trying to tell me what I dont want he trys to sell me on the set of Full Bore I saw on the rack. Now I understand about selling what he had in stock thats kool. But to tell your customers what you want them on is un exceptable. He should have approached the sale differently. Anyway I say thanks and he says come back in a little bit with my bike and he would put them on. After I was done he was still trying to push those tires. Needed a rear tire for my CBR250R after it ate a screw. I called and was offered a competitive quote compared to other shops in the area. When I arrived, I was promptly served and after an initial inspection of my tire was given the option to repair though Danny, the service tech, did not recommend the repair and for my own safety, I was set on replacing. I just thought it was cool that he gave me all my options without even asking for them. Danny was extremely fast during the repair process, while also being friendly and answering questions. You could tell he also had a strong attention to detail, especially when doing the balancing. Finally, he also helped with loading an unloading from the pickup truck. I've dealt with MOTOTIRE in the past and had a great experience. recently I put new tires at another shop downtown for the convenient factor as it was close to work and a coworker could follow me over and take me back when done. I didn't feel good about it but it made sense at the time. It ended up being a mistake. Long story short I learned my lesson. I ended up at MOTOTIRE anyway for them to mount another tire after the other shop mismounted my tube causing a blow out @ 70mph. Danny was able to get me right in so I could get back on the road and salvage the rest of the weekend trip! I knew it was time to replace the tires on my Sportster but a little rain and greasy roads motivated me to get it done right away. I called around in the morning to several places (including the HD shop) and Danny at Mototire gave me the best price. I called back and asked if they could take me in an hour and Danny said yes. Mototire was fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. I went across the street to grab a bite of lunch when Danny called me and told me that my front brake pads needed replacing and how much extra it would cost (very reasonable) to replace them. A week later I got a small nail in my front tire, took it in to get patched. They put the bike up on the rack and started drilling the front tire with an electric drill???
