Hot drinks delicious! Staff considerate and kind. Prices are good. I'll go again when in Anchorage.

I came down here a short while ago to pick up an iced coffee drink and was really disappointed with the overall experience. Motor Mocha is located off the intersection of Debarr and Beaver Rd. next to Palermo's Pizza and adjoins a residential area. The place has changed ownership over the past couple of years with the place remodeled in a lime green from the original purple color. There was a second location off of Muldoon but that is now a Heavenly Cup just outside of Ace Hardware. The menu itself is a standard one with the usual lineup of coffee drinks (Americano, Breve, Mocha, et al) and snacks like muffins and cookies. I pulled up to the drive-thru window and was greeted by an employee who wasn't the most helpful and friendly when it came to customer service. I asked if they had cold brew and she said no. I said that's fine, an Iced Americano will do. I asked her if she had sugar-free flavors available on a printed list since it wasn't listed on the menu display. She said no and listed off the ones that were on the shelf, but did it in a manner that showed very little patience to repeat it again after going through the options very quickly. I was able to catch Amaretto, Vanilla, and Hazelnut, but I couldn't catch the other flavors. I decided to go with sugar-free Amaretto and unsweetened Almond Milk on a 20 oz. Iced Americano. I also asked her if she had any snacks that were low-carb or Keto friendly but again I got the same response. She was quick to prepare the drink and it was a reasonable $3.50. I gave her a five and told her to keep the change in hopes of at least getting a smile of appreciation from her, but she seemed indifferent and simply said, "Have a good night" and walked away. I tried the Iced Americano and I was very disappointed to find that it was watery with very little coffee flavor and too much emphasis on the Amaretto and Almond Milk. I could've turned around and driven back to request another one be made, but the experience itself was simply not worth it. I will be hard-pressed on coming back to this place for coffee especially since I left a tip for such a poor drink. A little courtesy goes a long way with me and I usually give a second chance to any business that provides it to me, but in this case that won't happen here. read more

I would like to share with you that Motor Mocha on Debarr is back open and under new ownership. We need the support right about now. The slowness is really hurting us. Friendly staff, caffine, food. We got the red bull sodas and if your extra drained try adding a 5hour shot to your drink. Hope to see you soon. read more

I go here all the time, the ladies are so friendly and the service is quick. They love seeing your doggos too and always give out treats for them! Every time I show up they always know what I'm going to order as well so they will remember you as a regular! read more

Love the ladies that work here! They make a great cup o coffee :) Cheaper when you bring your own cup! Remember to bring cash unless you spend more than $5. Great coffee stand on the east side, I recommend it! read more

Excellent service! I ordered a chai tea around 11 AM and the drink was perfectly hot without being burnt. The lady was very kind! I recommend going there because I feel like it's the kind of coffee drive thru you would want to go to if you're picky. read more

I love going to this coffee shop! The ladies are always so nice when I drive up, they're full of energy. I get either a raspberry mocha or a redbull soda. Both of which turn out perfect! They never put too much ice in my redbull or cheat me on the amount of redbull. And my hot mocha is balanced and delicious. The best part is they're open early in the morning! read more

I usually grab coffee every morning from Kiki's island expresso because I love the service and her coffee is the best hands down in anchorage, anyway on occasions when she is closed I will stop at this place to get coffee its not as good but its close to my job and I need my coffee in the morning, when the girls help me my white chocolate mocha runs me about 5.25 (normally what I pay for one), however when the owner works she charges me 6.75 I never really pay attention until today she ran my card for 7$ when I asked her why she said she had to charge me for the extra mocha and milk I said what are you talking about? I never asked for extra? she says you said a white chocolate mocha so I had to charge for extra scoops of mocha and milk. I told her I never asked for extra anything and I noticed the only when she's working she charges me 6/7$ she thought I wouldn't notice but I did today, not only was she rude about it their coffee wasn't even that great. anyone getting coffee here needs to double check what she is charging. she's a crook taking advantage of people she thinks are in a rush and not paying attention. do not get coffee from this place. read more
