Not the pool we were promised. Dirty. Not working.

Bait and Switch. No pool. No spa. No ice machine. No help from the staff and certainly no responsibility shown by the ownership. Lipstick on a pig. Paint and new flooring makes for a classic "flipper" property. HGTV photos with a rundown motolodge reality. We tried to get help and answers, but to no avail. We even waited a week before writing a review. We wanted to love it. Dissatisfied. Sorry.

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay here! We checked in easily and our room was clean and had everything we needed including a fridge and soaps. The lobby has a small selection of beers and wines for purchase. It is pet friendly which is why we picked it!

Someone famous must be staying at Motolodge. Super cool spot and vibe!

Great spot, super clean and the staff was fantastic. I also wish my bed at home was as comfortable as the beds there.

Beautiful motel. I love looking at this motel every time I'm on Dorian Avenue in Pendleton. I'd love to stay a night some day.

We travelled to Pendleton in the middle of September and was pleased with the fact that the rooms…read moreare cleaned, new towels and bed made every day. It seems like more and more hotels are not cleaning every day. We stayed a few days on this trip at the Hampton Inn in Kennewick and they cleaned the rooms every other day. In July we were in Phoenix for a wedding and stayed at an Embassy Suites (4 nights) that would only provide new towels and clean upon request. We didn't try to breakfast so I can't comment on that. Anyway, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. And that is the number one thing I want in a hotel.

Looks Premium, Delivers Budget Motel Service…read more I stayed here for one night while helping a friend move across the country. At first glance, the property seemed promising. The exterior is attractive, and amenities like the pool and hot tub made it appear to be one of the nicer options in the area. Unfortunately, that first impression did not survive the stay. The hot tub was warm, but the jets did not work. That ended up being a recurring theme throughout my visit: things were either broken, poorly maintained, or simply not functioning as expected. The room itself had a strange odor upon arrival. It wasn't overwhelming enough to immediately complain about, but it was noticeable. The room key reader was also damaged and only worked if the card was inserted at a very specific angle. Most disruptive of all was the air conditioning unit, which emitted a loud, high-pitched shrieking noise throughout the night. I've stayed in numerous hotels during this trip, and none had an AC unit that sounded remotely like this. The biggest disappointment, however, was the customer service. At 8:55 a.m., I went downstairs for breakfast. Rather than being greeted or assisted, I was immediately informed that breakfast closed "at 9 on the dot." While I understand operating hours exist for a reason, the interaction felt unnecessarily confrontational, especially given that I arrived before closing time. After some discussion, I was eventually allowed to get food, but the entire exchange left me feeling like I was inconveniencing the staff simply by showing up during posted breakfast hours. The experience only deteriorated from there. While preparing my food, the dining area lights were turned off despite guests still being present. Later, when staff attempted to verify my reservation--which had been booked by my friend--they appeared unable to locate it and seemed to assume I was somehow trying to gain unauthorized access to a room. One employee even remarked, "I guess you guys got that room for free," before realizing they had been looking at the wrong reservation entirely. Rather than apologizing for the confusion, the interaction left me feeling accused and unwelcome. For a hotel charging between $200 and $350 per night, I expected basic professionalism, functioning facilities, and courteous service. Instead, I encountered broken amenities, maintenance issues, poor communication, and staff who appeared more interested in enforcing rules than helping guests. The building may look nice from the outside, but that turned out to be a misleading indicator of the actual guest experience. Between the condition of the room, the nonfunctional amenities, and the disappointing customer service, I would not stay here again. In hindsight, I suspect I would have received better value and friendlier treatment at one of the budget hotels across the street. Rating 2/5, hot tub was still nice even if partially functional. Save your money and look elsewhere.

"Services" are limited, however, the hotel does have a suite + 4 other sleeping rooms that are all uniquely decorated in a very Old West-meets-true-Victorian style. The building itself is quite stunning, with hardwood floors, soaring ceilings, and exposed brick. It's old, though, so be prepared to hear a lot of traffic noise, particularly if you're sleeping in one of the rooms on the NW side. The one time I stayed here was with a large group, and we took over the whole place. If you're planning a visit here, that's the approach I would recommend. There are a lot of common areas, and it would be a shame to not take advantage of them. There is a shared kitchen, a large living room and a separate dining area. Bathrooms are also shared (except in the suite), but are HUGE. The guest house is in a prime location in the historic district; close to all of P-town's night life, coffee shops, and services. Kids and pets are disallowed, because of the antiques and the layout. Plus, who wants to explain a bordello to the kiddies? Especially since this one was apparently operational until "more recently than you'd think..." A very cool piece of Oregon's history, though, and certainly prime real estate if you can get the house over the week of the Round-up.

This visit, we've noted maintenance is a bit lacking. We had site 65 and it was challenging to level our RV. The picnic table was gross and there were cigarette butts in the grass. We cleaned up (you're welcome). We've never had to clean our RV site before - they have always been usable upon arrival. While walking around the park I noticed bits of debris scattered around and dog deposits. The folks that work in the office are kind and happy to share information with visitors.

A few months ago they changed the free night stays at the hotel offers for VIP members from the set monthly amounts by tier, to allowing me to book unlimited hotel stays free all I wanted through the online booking. I was there almost daily, and staying at the hotel usually a few nights a week in which I usually ended up playing more than usual compared to when I didn't stay at the hotel. Anyways, I had multiple nights reserved at the casino throughout the rest of the month of May and through June as part of their Club Wild free hotel nights offer. Then out of no where I received a notice informing me they received my reservation cancellation for most of the nights I reserved even though I did not cancel them. When I tried booking some nights again using my VIP club wild account they no longer were offering me any free nights at all, only discounted rooms. Not even the set amount of free nights per month previously given prior to the change for VIP members, no free hotel stays at all. And I was regularly playing at the time and still am a VIP club member with currently over 80,000 tier points still on my account. This bothered me a lot because out of all the perks the VIP membership offers, the free hotel stays was the best one but took them away, once that occurred I haven't bothered going back and instead of started going to other casinos like Legends and Northern Quest. Disappointed in the change. Was looking forward to the new hotel tower opening next year but don't care to play at a casino that takes away something they offered to their VIP club members after accepting the offers and booking the nights for them to cancel them and take back their offer, especially without warning.
