The property and parking were great. Plenty of room for a truck and trailer combo, which we had. The lobby was welcoming and very clean, the beds were incredibly comfortable, the room spotless, everything was up to date. Blankets and pillows comfortable and the staff went over and above with true hospitality! The real gem here is the restaurant/lounge! Chef Mike is amazing, his food was to die for, and I cannot believe how reasonably priced everything was! We had cocktails and dinner after a long drive and his food is the chef's kiss! I had the fried chicken special and my husband the burger dip. The special could have fed us both easily!! Reservations was good.. lady was friendly and was able to get me reserved. Though she got my name wrong on the reservation. No biggie. When I checked in the lady was kind and welcoming. The hotel offers a free nightly cocktail and breakfast. Both times the staff working were less than welcoming and almost annoyed that they were being bothered. We stayed for two nights... but after being treated poorly for the cocktail and the breakfast the next morning, we didn't bother going back and got breakfast at Safeway instead. Overall good location. A little dated but it still seemed pretty clean and comfortable. Would go back, but def recommend having more training for the restaurant staff. read more

We completely enjoyed our stay here. Room was very comfortable, I was able to work for several hours during my stay. Employees were very friendly and smiling as they greeted us, what a breath of fresh air!! And to top this off, being pet friendly, having you complete information about your pets, that includes you providing your cell phone number for urgent assistance if you are needed. Cherry on top was giving us a foldable bowl with dog treats, oh my goodness our pet, Maggie has never had such a welcoming. Fresh, not reheated, cooked eggs, sausage patty, and potatoes. along with other delicious choices for breakfast. Served on real plates with utensils, not paper and plastic. We have already provided family and friends with information along with instructions/recommendations to stay here while traveling through the area!! We stayed in other hotels in this chain, and they were rather nice. Not sure what's going in with Pendleton, but this wasn't anywhere near as pleasant an experience as we had hoped for. The room didn't have carpeting, the furniture was dinged & damaged, and the window had a sizable gap. Normally I wouldn't have noticed the window, except the freeway was so loud I had to raise my voice to speak over it. And there's a hill right by the hotel, so trucks had to use compression braking there- noisy! The bed was comfy, the front desk staff was very sweet, but I cannot recommend this hotel except to the very very tired. read more

We stayed there early January .due to event we had to attend.first time 3 days then had to re check in the day was leaving for 3 more days due to car problems. But first days the counter staff lady very nice the cleaning lady manager very nice .the hallways carpet looked very old warn every where in hotel .our room had hair in bathroom and few other issues .but was very acomidating for my needs being disabled.the pool had hair and mold in the vents and same as hot tub .the second room appeared lots cleaner .but some how between both rooms or the hotel flooring we brought home bed bugs .the second check in the manager was very rude .but I called corporate office in Seattle not hotel about bugs haven't heard a word back .so I'm speaking with health department in Pendleton they will deal with issues read more

What a pleasant surprise! We've stayed in Pendleton before but not at the Oxford Suites. Tonight, after a stressful drive, we arrived to free drinks and a lovely room. Our dog was welcomed and even given a little bacon treat from our amazing server, Jessica. Jessica was so sweet and helpful, the whole terrible drive was quickly forgotten. When: 3 Nights Aug. 15th to Aug. 18th; Room 224, 2 Adults The Oxford Suites is centrally located, in that you are about 10 minutes from the PDT Airport as well as being right next to the I-84 Highway if your driving. Downtown Pendleton & the Round-Up is about 5-10 minutes away by car and a Safeway Grocery Store and a Walmart is within walking distance of the hotel. Check-In was a breeze and the Front Desk Clerk was friendly & professional. The Executive King Room was more than adequate for 2 Adults, with its separate sleeping area and TV viewing area. This particular room was clean, but the carpeting and minor amenities, like the towels could use a Refresh because of normal use and wear & tear. We were disappointed that the Oxford Bistro, their in-house restaurant, was not open for dinner, during our 3-night stay. All and All it was a good stay here, but nothing outstanding. read more

Our room had laminate flooring (no carpet at all) and our feet and socks were black with dirt from walking on the floor in our room. So gross!! The sofa bed wasn't made so my husband ended up sleeping on top of the couch. The market was very poorly stocked, they were out of almost everything. Such a bummer when you're traveling w kids and you already spent 5 hours in the car with them. Def not up for going to the store for a soda. The breakfast buffet was quite small, but the food was hot and tasty. Just wished there was more fresh fruit than cut orange slices. The pool and hot tub were clean and towels were stocked! Our stay was one night, April 2023. We booked a double queen room which was larger than the usual double queen and included a sitting area with a small couch and coffee table as well as a small table with two chairs. The room overall was very clean with exception of some obvious spill spots on the carpet. The furniture was clean and in good condition. Our room, upon entering, did smell as if someone had been smoking pot and they tried to cover up the odor with room spray. It wasn't overpowering so we let it be. The hotel overall was in good condition, the indoor pool and spa looked well taken care of and customer service was friendly. The few negatives for us were no bathroom fan, the annoying triple sheeting on the beds instead of a proper duvet with a cover, the highway noise, and of course the price. Hotel prices are getting ridiculous for what you get, and this hotel is no different. FYI, if you want a room away from the highway noise, opt for an even numbered room. read more

Overall our experience was okay. The Receptionist, breakfast and amenities were great. However, we did not have any room service. We left our room about 7:30 AM and returned around 5 PM. The bed wasn't made and the towels weren't exchanged and the room wasn't cleaned. We had to call the reception desk for towels and they had asked us to come downstairs and pick them up. This hotel experience has exceeded all expectations. The room itself was better and more spacious than places I've stayed that cost more than triple the price. Our vehicle broke down on our way into town and the complimentary shuttle service was a life saver for getting around town and to the airport. Jay did an exemplary job introducing us to the town and driving us to our destinations, and was a courteous host for our entire stay. Hands down the best hotel I've ever stayed at at!! I called for the shuttle when I arrived, they had someone here in 10 minutes. All the employees were so nice and friendly. The room was very clean and it was very quiet. When leaving at 5:30 am, they shuttled me to the airport and the shuttle driver was so nice!! I think she may have been the manager, but not positive. i picked up bedbugs there. I wrote to them about it after returning home from my one-night stay and they did not bother to reply. Nice staff at desk but this ended up costing me over $1500 for an extermination service and replacement of suitcase, clothing and bags I had brought with me. I also had to buy expensive mattress covers after realizing my mattress was now housing the bugs I picked up there. I know the bedbugs came from this hotel because I had not been anywhere outside my home for months beforehand and did not leave my home to stay anywhere else after coming back. 6/28/20 we were never contacted by management, we never received any apology the business is not being honest. As stated in the review we had a lady poke her head in as we were finishing our 40 min of pool time to say we could swim longer as no one reserved, and the girls were Told 15 minutes later that somebody had. I understand Covid restricts things which is why I researched prior to booking, and leaving on the trip from pierce county Washington. Generally when businesses hospitality business make changes to policies that effect a guest experience, they're posted on our website and being a hotel I would've thought that would've been the case. Either way doesn't change the fact that this has been a unpleasant and unsatisfactory experience, more so now with how it's been handled with flat out false facts from the business. I would rather sleep at motel 6 and know what I'm getting vs over $120 to get what I got. Original 6/27/2020 So we came to check in 8:15 ish and were told we don't apply to the evening reception listed on the website for all guest which is two drink tickets per guest, and chips and salsa. We are told this is only for guest who book directly through Oxford. This is no where listed and I asked why and we are told it is a recent "policy change" I asked why that wouldn't be listed and how misleading that is. We also find out that pool use has to be reserved and now closes at 8 vs the 11 o clock posted time, also a recent policy change not listed under Groupon, or the website for the hotel itself. I came here for my daughters birthday and would have booked a cheaper room had I known all this. I could understand if it was listed anywhere on their website or Groupon but none of this was and I would have booked elsewhere or in Wa where I live had I'd known. The room is not bad besides the stained carpet and dirty counters. I would likely not stay here again. The front desk girl was nice enough and felt bad about it, but ultimately feeling bad doesn't change the fact that my daughters plan to swim all morning or when we arrived after a long 6 hr drive is ruined as you can't book more than 40 min at a time. We checked out first thing she got an hr maybe in of swimming after we were told "no ones booked the next two hours so enjoy" and then 15 min later we are told we can't use more time. We checked in to this hotel after 1 AM with no reservation subsequent to walking out of a Travelodge in LaGrande, OR which was horribly substandard with spiders between the sheets. The Desk Agent was super nice, accommodating and found us 2 rooms quickly, and at a reasonable price. The rooms are large clean and have everything you need for your travels. They have a terrific pool and hot tub that are indoors, and they keep at an excellent temperature for winter time. The offer a decent morning buffet breakfast. read more

Never seen this before. My girlfriend and I went to enjoy a few drinks at the bar after our long drive and were treated like minors. We were rudely asked for ID and they were both thoroughly inspected under a light. Although my ego was happy seeing as how I never get ID'd anymore, I felt it could have been done with a little more respect. We are both well over 21 and have no interest in being treated like Spring Chickens. The Fitness Room could use an update as well but it's definitely not the worst I've seen. No free weights. Overall we were very happy we stayed here! The other staff was very friendly and it's in a great location to many stores and restaurants. Stayed here last night and it was as amazing as ever. Excellent rooms and awesome customer service. It is very clear that they have ramped up sanitization and distancing procedures for Covid. Megan was working the front desk and went above and beyond to welcome us and look into rooms for a second night's stay. She even called to follow up and greeted us again as we left and came back a few hours later. When we called the front desk to inquire about dinner options, Megan joyfully walked to the kitchen and read us the menu and walked us through procedures to order etc. This morning there was an excellent grab and go option for breakfast which included your choice of a breakfast burrito and fruit, eggs, hash browns and bacon and fruit, or cereal cups as well as coffee to go. Sarah was awesome in packaging up our grab and go options and even offered a tray to carry things back to our room. Everyone from the desk folks, cleaning crew, and maintain everything workers were so kind and welcoming. I could not have had a better experience and was appreciative of all of the extra effort. Apparently, it is the policy of the hotel that housekeeping doesn't come in until after the 72 hour of stay. I stayed 8 nights. When I asked about this was told to fill out extended stay form and pick up to 3 days out of the week to have housekeeping come in. However, when I stayed here two weeks ago housekeeping came in every day. When I asked why it is different this time I was told that this policy has been in place since March. I had the misfortune to book this place on Hotels.com. Upon arrival we discovered this place is directly next to Interstate 84. We were assigned a room approximately 50 feet from the interstate, when I asked if we could get a room on the side away from the freeway I was told because we used Hoterls.com that was not possible, without trying to cancel our reservation with Hotels.com then books through the Oxford at a higher rate. On top of that internet connect sucks and room smells!!! This highway noise is oppressive, we might as well be staying on the should of the road! Due yourselves a favor, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! My husband, son, and I stayed here the end of July 2017. I guess I was expecting more based on the reviews. Check-in was easy enough. We were given tickets for a free drink in the bar and there was a soup and salad bar available early evening. Apparently our stay overlapped with Pendleton Biker Week. The hotel was literally swarming with bikers. I've got nothing against bikers. In fact I prefer them to many groups. But there were so many of them congregated in the parking lot, the entrance, the lobby, the bar. Like, I'm talking, set up lawn chairs in big circles or preening and pawing all over each other's bikes. There were even people staying in their trailers in the parking lot. Revving motors late into the night. It was very loud and annoying. The pool was pretty standard though it was outdated and moderately clean. When we finally got close enough to the soup and salad buffet it was picked over and there was nowhere to go to eat. Hallways and elevators smelled old and stale masked by heavily perfumed scents. The whole place reminded me of an old, sub-par casino. The room was very dated but clean. I expected the room to be bigger, there was little room to walk and the bathroom was only large enough to turn around in. The worst part was the price we paid for the misfortune of staying here. Our most expensive overnighter of our road trip with the least enjoyable atmosphere. The bikers only made a mediocre experience worse. I definitely wouldn't recommend staying over here that week, but I wouldn't stay here any other week either. Above all, I am most displeased that when we made the reservation nothing was mentioned about biker week. Had we known we'd have adjusted our travel plans for a more restful stay in a different city. read more

This isn't so much a review on the hotel as it is on their restaurant The Bistro. My family and I are staying here at the hotel and wanted to have dinner since Covid-19 has almost every restaurant in town on take-out only. When we went downstairs to eat, the Bistro had over 50% of their menu sold out at 6:30 PM. The only things they had left were caesar salads, burgers and quesadillas available. I'm not being dramatic. This was it. This forced us to leave the hotel and find a local place to order take-out. When we came back to the hotel to eat, we asked the front desk if we could eat inside The Bistro. They happily said yes so my family sat down at an open table and started to open out meals. That's when the Bistro manager?? shouted form the bar area that we weren't allowed to eat "other people's" food there. When we told her that the hotel clerk said it was allowed, the Bistro manager again raised her voice and told us that this is their mistake, but this wasn't allowed and again asked us to pick up and leave. She literally hovered the table while we packed our meal to leave. She was incredibly rude, didn't tell us why we weren't allowed as paying hotel guests and generally made an uncomfortable scene for us while others watched. Oh wait...they did offer us an outside bench by the lobby if we needed to find a place to eat. A bench for a family of three with meals to sit outside on a bench. Really??? So we brought our food upstairs to our room to eat at the desk. Shortly after I had to go back downstairs to get waters for the family and the Bistro manager was STILL at the front desk complaining about us. I really hope that they are doing financially well during this pandemic because the manager at The Oxford Suites Bistro may have made an extra $7 on a burger by kicking us out to save a table, but I am absolutely recommending that you avoid this place. read more

I travel to Pendleton occasionally for work, which often requires that I stay over night. My colleagues and I agree: Oxford Suites is the best bet in Pendleton. The pool is nice, and they have an evening reception with a few refreshments. The quality of the evening spread was... well... it was free, so the quality matched the price. Still, it's nice to have a place to sit and socialize with other travelers at night. They also offer a free breakfast, which was far superior to most hotel free breakfasts. The staff was courteous and helpful, and my room was clean and in good shape. This is not a destination hotel, but if you're heading through Pendleton, it's a pretty good place to stop for the night. read more

Paper thin walls, right next to the freeway. The Roundup starts tomorrow so rates are double, which makes the crappy TV and beat up couch that much harder to take. Microscopic swimming pool right off the lobby. First room we were in was very smoky (though a non-smoking room). Front desk staff very friendly and helped us with our booking error. As far as Hotel offerings in Pendleton, The Oxford Suites are okay. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was spacious. The only criticism is that the television had lousy, snowy reception. In today's world of direct TV and fiber optics, you would think that the television would be clear. The evening reception and morning breakfast were welcome perks. As I was staying on State business, the price for the room was very reasonable. If I have to stay in Pendleton again, I will stay here. read more

Five stars for Chelsea at the front desk and the rest of the staff. We were driving up 395 and had spotty mobile service as we approached Pendleton. My wife finally got through when we were about 20 minutes out of town and was put on hold, when the lady--who turned out to be Chelsea came back on the line after several minutes she asked if she could take my wife's number and call her back as she was busy. My wife said we needed a room and would be there in about 15 minutes--she said they had plenty of rooms. When we got to the Oxford Suites there was a couple checking in ahead of us, the phone was ringing and Chelsea never lost her cool, put folks on hold, handled the couple, got back on phone explained busy, etc. When we got to counter and my wife said, "I'm the one who called and you asked for my number..." She said she remembered, did we want a king and if so she was going to upgrade us for coming in despite being on hold. Room was very nice, staff was very nice as well. The free breakfast in most places sucks, this one was good with plenty of food and seating. Great price, bed, room and service, I would stay here every time I am in Pendleton. read more

According to hotels.com, the Oxford Suites was the most expensive place in town on this night. Given that we were rolling in after 9PM just looking for a bed, the more-than-double most other places was an unnecessary expense - but my better half wanted to stay somewhere nice, so we checked in. The room was reasonably nice - a quality bed and beddings, with a well-appointed kitchenette. No bath, only a shower - a disappointment for my dearest. And the air-conditioner was rather noisy. Still, better-than-average overall, but that was to be expected, for the price. What was unexpected was the bizarre attitudes of the staff. When we checked-in, we were offered complimentary drinks - but grab them fast, they stop serving in 5 minutes. So we took the clerk's advice and immediately after checking in ordered drinks at the bar directly across from the front desk. But having just arrived, we stepped out again - nature called for one of us, and the other stepped out for a cigarette as the hotel facilities are all non-smoking. As we come back in, we see the barkeep walking out, and realize that the lights have been turned out. I call to him, "excuse me?", but he ignores us and walks off (I'm quite certain he looked directly at us as we entered, and turned his back to walk down the hall). Sticking our heads in, sure enough our table was cleared - four full drinks, presumably poured down the drain less than ten minutes after being served. When we point this out to the desk clerk standing in front of us, she smiles and shrugs and gives us excuses rather than apologies. I'm guessing the uncaring dismissive attitude comes from the fact that we weren't expense account regulars; just tourists passing through. Oxford Suites doesn't seem to care for our kind of business. I'm sorry we inconvenienced them. We won't be doing it again - at any Oxford Suites hotel. Edited to add: Our experience the next morning was just as odd. The buffet breakfast had an absurdly long line-up, yet no effort was made by staff to move things along. And returning to our room, we turned on the television while packing up, only to have it go black within minutes - seemingly cable service is cut off an hour before check-out. read more
