Well there's not much to say about this place. Casino really does not pay out much. People who got $500.00 winner on slots had to call service to get cashed out. Bar closes at 10:30pm. The ladies that work in the only bar that's there besides the sports bar are really nice. I do have to say that the golf course is a lot of fun. The bar at the golf course is your only safe bet to get a decent meal with out having to go to the buffet. The double bogie burger at the golf course restaurant was the bomb!!! I can't speak for the gambling but we've stopped here when passing through three times now and this most recent time, we stayed overnight. Love that it's family friendly. We've utilized the movie theater, bowling, arcade, ice cream stand and food court. They even have a kids entertainment area if you want to go gamble. I don't recommend the courtyard rooms. Really outdated, dingy and sad. I hear the newer tower rooms are much nicer so we'd probably give it another try. Tons of parking, right off the freeway, EV charging. We pulled into the RV park for a one night stay. The RV park was amazing and worked perfectly for us. We even did our on-the-road laundry while there. After that was finished we went over to the casino to eat. The food was good and so was the service but a little disappointing. However, everyone blames covid so maybe that's what we should blame too. Next it was our turn to try the slots. Aargh! Those slots were tight and I do mean tight. Here's to the dealers and croupiers and pit bosses of Wild Horse Casino. What a wonderful bunch of humans. My wife and I just came back from two days/nights there and had a blast. I'm a newbie at playing in Casinos so I loved the mid-day week day quiet that gave the dealers time and leisure to teach me blackjack. And their pit bosses totally let them take all the time they wanted. Everyone was a delight--with the exception of a couple of too-serious guests at the blackjack table Tuesday night, who had no patience, or civility, for someone who is just learning. We played table games only and had fun. As for food, we ate in the Sports Bar which served up just fine salads and burgers. Best food we had in Pendleton was Chimu's Taco Truck. Yum. read more

My bf has participated in 2 poker tourneys here and we have stayed here each time. The rooms are big and clean and service is pretty good. It's also pretty nice that they have a microwave and Keurig machine in the tower rooms. Pretty affordable too. The pool is kinda lame since it is indoor but the cinema is pretty cool. The casino itself is pretty nice and spacious but there is no alcohol except at the restaurant bar... since it is an 18 and over establishment. A little harder to turn up than the average casino. There isn't much else to do if your not a huge gambler or if your done gambling for the night. I think they would benefit if they made a mini outlet mall here or even some Spa services. Nonetheless I've been satisfied each time I've stayed here. Oh and they have EXCELLENT coffee at the Wild Roast Cafe in the Casino Lobby. read more

Needs a bit better air flow in room. Smoke is heavy. The buffet for buffet is actually impressive and good. Pub has great grub. Hubby received a special offer in the mail for a free first nights stay with the option to add on a second night for $35. Also included in the offer $65 of free play money & coupons for dining & activities. Looked into in online & it was legit so we booked a room. The special deal was for a regular Tower room. We were offered the option of upgrading to one of their suites. I was originally against it til I saw some of the pictures & descriptions of the rooms. Decided on the lower priced suite & was very happy with the decision. Large king bed. Couch sitting area near the TV. Large bathroom with large soaking tub & huge shower stall. Toilet in a small separate closed door area for privacy. Lots of counter space with great lighting. 6 large bath towels, lots of hand towels & washcloths. Big terry cloth robes provided too. Mini fridge, microwave & a Keurig coffee maker with Tullys brand coffee. Good black out drapes & excellent air conditioning. Room was very quiet. Enjoyed the use of the indoor pool on site & the outdoor pool at the RV park. Sat out by the fire pit in the courtyard one night. Went to the driving range & had breakfast at the golf club house. Ate hot wings one night at the bar & had great fish & chips and a blue cheese burger with onion rings the second night. Super prices & great service from Raven. Hubby won money on the slot machines & playing Texas Hold Em poker. Me nada. :( I would go back in a heartbeat & recommend it to any of my family & friends. read more

On my way to the Oregon coast, we stopped in, exhausted. I am reviewing the rooms in the tower. This is one heck of a great hotel. Nice people at the front desk, amazing rooms. Checked in and collapsed, didn't move until morning. I loved the rooms here so much, I wish I could've stayed at least a week. I found them luxurious and large, beautiful linens, lovely towels, lots of room for my mom and her walker. Traveling with an 88 year old, with Parkinson's, really shows me a lot about human nature. If people are kind to my mother, they really earn huge respect from me. Mom likes to kind of 'be in charge' and she's adorable. Staff treated her very kindly both on our trip out and coming back when we stayed there again. We are not gamblers, but on walking through the gambling floor, it was very clean, nice modern decor and no smoking. I enjoyed the view (vast and open) from our upper tower room, and the nice desk. On our way back we were upgraded which was even roomier with a large couch and sitting room area. We love it here and you can bet we will return. read more

A great Slots Casino if that's what you're into - but as far as tables go, there isn't much. The rooms in the tower are very nice, clean and comfortable. If you're one who enjoys a great view, the tower rooms are worth the extra cost. I had to take this down to three stars due to the continued terrible service. Not a single person who provided a service or even answered a question seemed to give a rats ass about us and consistently seemed to hate their job. Stayed here for our anniversary. The hotel staff let strangers in our room "by mistake". The lady at the front desk said this has happened to others before us. The lodging director Roy Jones seemed very unconcerned and only talked about how this happened and what they plan to do in the future to help prevent this from happening again... are you kidding me? How does that address The problem they created for us? The first expectation of guests in a hotel is reasonable security. In this regard, EPIC fail. Offered us a room upgrade for next time. Like we would ever stay here again. Our personal info now compromised and I will need to take steps to moniter our personal info for ID theft. I only asked him to put himself in our position and do what he thought was right. His lack of concern for our situation was staggering. I now have no recourse but to post this info and let others know to stay far away from here. Just amazed that Wildhorse casino / hotel has such low regard for its guests. SMH read more

The rooms in the new part of the hotel were nice although not fancy but the food, well we opted to go someplace else for breakfast rather than eat there this morning. IT was really nice facilties, brand new everything. THey had a cinema next door which is great. Food was ok, and could be improved on. THe sports bar was AMAZING however, one of the best sports bar-set ups I have ever seen. I think I would like this place better if they had their liquor license set-up so you can drink alcohol while you play, instead of in the bar only. And, for Portlander's I'd only recommend it if you are in the area already, otherwise the long drive is not worth it. read more

Oh I sure hope we just picked the worse day ever to meet up with friends from the Valley here at the buffet. Food was awful, especially the tamales my poor friends actually attempted to eat. They were rock hard and tasted like they had been made the week prior. The rest of the food line up was no better. The casino itself was... meh. This place has a great deal for seniors on Tues night. Their new rooms in the tower are only $55 per night. Fabulous beds and great shower. Beautiful indoor pool. The restaurant has a senior special on their ample buffet. They have tons of amenities for kids, but everything is on the dark side.Movies, arcades -Nothing bright and cheery for them. Went there with family and had the lunch buffet. They could have had better variety. There was a lot of potato and macaroni. The salad marked pasta salad didn't have a noodle in it, but the artichoke hearts were good. Gambled a bit (was up $14 when I left) then sat in the bar for a bit and had drinks. They have a firepit in there and it kept me nice and toasty while I watched the NFL Play-offs. One of the servers sat down and talked to us a bit. I always stop when I have the extra time. Plenty of parking for trucks, the food and service at Plateau has always been great, and the slots have always paid. My first dollar in the machine on my first trip here paid $1400 and the next morning hit for $450 so I found my casino. I have read a few of the reviews on here and can't relate, the 5 or 6 times I have been here, I have never had an issue with anything. read more

Staff and room sucked. We had our dog with us, they sold out of the non smoking pet rooms so we where forced into a smoking room with our 4 year old daughter. Not happy. It smelled horrid in the entire hallway. Double whammy, i felt like we where being punished for bringing our dog, stuck in a smoking room (twice this happened, going to and from Idaho) and at the very very end of the longest hallway ever. Thanks. Its just soooo easily accessible with a dog and child and luggage.. the staff was slow checking in and out, it took almost 30 min to check out. They need more training at the front desk! The lady at the coffee bar didn't know what to say when i told her to have a good day, it was a foreign language for her...wow impressively crappy place and atmosphere. The lady helping me I can only describe as "over it" and rude. She was unwilling to answer my questions or explain any of the process to me. Confused and agitated I just left. This is the 3rd time I've been to this casino, which I LOVE! Craps are the best, Blackjack is awesome. All the dealers are patient and explain everything if you don't know. I am right between Jackpot and here and I would hands down rather come here. You can't drink alcohol at the tables, but that doesn't bother me. They still have a bar for that when you do need one! The food in the buffet is under par, but I do like the bar food a lot better. Haven't tried anywhere else in here for food. Last night was the first time we stayed. The room is nice and big, the jetted tub looks big enough for two in the picture. It's not. The bed wasn't comfortable to me but I have a bad back so that's to be expected. It's really hard. It's 9:17am at the moment and it is WAAAAY too bright in this room. The light comes in. There's no black out blinds so bring an eye cover if you're that person! (I am, which is why I'm up writing and not sleeping.) Also I can hear house keeping which I HATE to hear super early. At LEAST wait till 10-11 to start cleaning. Geez :) All in all I love this place. On a road trip taken recently we decided to stop for the night at Wild Horse, and brave the pass in the morning light, and well-rested. We were traveling with our dog, and the hotel was able to accommodate us with a pet friendly room. However, the tower we stayed in and the room itself were in need of a major overhaul. The carpet, linens, and furniture were all dilapidated and dingy. Our smoke-free room smelled like cigarettes and the hallway leading to it was much worse. Additionally, I understand that this area gets hit with major snow around this time of the year. However, sidewalks were not cleared, there was no pet relief area whatsoever, and in the area we were told to use hung HUGE icicles off the overhang. All of these weather related issues seem like a lawsuit waiting to happen, we were really surprised that this was overlooked. We would choose a different hotel next time, for sure. read more

My wife and I had a early morning snack at about 4 am on Sunday, and I could not believe how busy this café was at this time. She ordered a burger and potatoes tots, and I ordered a hot dog and chips. We have had items from this café before on previous visits and the food is actually excellent and very reasonably priced. The chicken dumpling soup is awesome if they are serving it. The burger and tots were very good, and the hot dog I got was one of the large beef dog which also very good. The only down fall, was that we had to wait about 20 minutes for our order due to the number of folks that had ordered before us. The cooking staff was putting out the food fast and hot, and they have a pretty good number system to ensure the orders are organized and go out the right customers. The café area probably could use some house keeping attention periodically, and a lot of customers were not very happy that the ketchup dispenser was out and that they did not have any more ketchup to include the small packets. I rated a 2 star, but could be a 3 star under the right situations. read more

I made an account just to write this. I am not very pleased with the hotel part of this business. The walls are so thin I can hear entire conversations clearly, (great when you're trying to fall asleep right?) it's currently 9:30am and I can hear vacuums, employees talking loudly about which guests left, and of course, people slamming their doors down the hall. Next is the wifi, I can connect to it just fine on my phone, but not on my computer. There is absolutely no cell phone service any where in the room I'm in, and maybe 1 or 2 bars down in the casino (ATT). Overall I'm not convinced that this room was worth $77.25 when a motel 6 is much nicer. read more
