They always charge fair prices and if a new repair comes up, they will call you first to confirm the additional repairs before doing so. Scheduling is super easy, you can just call on the phone and they will tell you when you can drop it off. If it is a super simple repair like fixing a flat, usually you can just drop in and drop it off. I had my sexy gravel bike (see photo) and e-bike repaired here. Some bike shops are scared to touch ebikes, but this shop is one stop shop and does it. Just really happy with the fair pricing and great customer service. RAD cycles keep doing what you do.

I asked why I can't make an appointment in the store? They should be able to control the appointments as they are the bike shop. They also facilitate many non profit bike workshops for communities, including women-only drop ins and programs for trans-identified people which are by donation. But caveat emptor of the parts bin! There's a lot of junk in there, and you might spend all day digging for something that's cheaply acquired new at a nearby location. You should probably have a good idea of what you want before going through them.

Well I sucked it up and walked in. I was greeted, first by a dog, whom I believe is named Dax, and then a human directed me to the bike lights. I was given some personal recommendations by him, and he was SUPER FRIENDLY and very helpful! I did not feel judged and everything was relaxed and sincere. I probably would have gone for his recommendations, but then another guy walked over to me and offered his personal recommendations. He told me all about these lights and their features, even recommended some settings for the time of day/weather in which I'm going to be biking. He was funny, helpful, and VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. These guys are so nice, even the guy who rung my stuff through the till was nice. They wished me well on my future bike rides, and I was advised to keep my lights away from crackheads or something of the sort. Hilarious. I love this place, and I hadn't even looked at everything. I'm just sure that if you need anything bike-related, you should go here, because the people are awesome, and they will help you, and you will feel good after having been helped by them.

What I learned is that even though my bike wasn't in "perfect" shape, it was still safe to ride. And they didn't try to upsell me on a major tune-up, just for the sake of business. I might have mentioned the chain was acting up - I don't get it serviced often enough - and perhaps they could check it and replace it if necessary? Got the bike back but didn't use for a few months. When I did, chain was waaay worse after spending nearly $100 than before. Like it was falling off the derailleurs even more than before. By a lot. To top it all off, chain straight out broke a few days later. When I went I complained, they replaced the chain. Not that much apology, no indication how they missed it in the servicing. And, as far as I could figure full price for the chain and service in doing so.

Can return it anytime before their closing hours. Free helmets, bike locks, and baskets if needed. Staff are friendly and let you try different bikes to find the right fit. Bikes are well maintained, comfortable, and ride smoothly. We've rented from them multiple times and keep coming back. If you're renting a bike in the area, I'd recommend these guys over the shops right at the entrance--better prices and great service!
