After realizing it was dangerous to drive any further since we were both so tired from over nine hours on the road, we stopped at Motel 6. It wasn't our first choice, but Holiday Inn was already sold out for the night. We got their last room and were very glad we did. It has been at least 20 years since we had stayed at Motel 6 and a lot has changed. The rooms were very clean and the beds were new. It was a great place to crash for the night. The clerk was friendly and had to rearrange things so we could get a nonsmoking room. I especially liked all the plugs right next to the bed. read more

Clean and good value. Sarah is awesome and ensured we got the best room and were checked in rapidly. Third stay here and will continue to come back. read more

Stayed here last night when my car broke down. Front desk was very nice and gave me a small discount. I was most impressed with the rooms. They are newly remodeled and it definitely shows. Very nice and very clean. If you're stuck in Willows, stay here! read more

An awesome value! $60 for a two bed. The rooms were recently remodeled in a modern style. You can tell that they used cheap furniture but it is far nicer than any other budget hotel/motel that I've stayed in. Next time I'm staying in willows again for a race at thunderhill, I'll be back without hesitation. read more

I have never stayed at a motel 6. It's one of those places where you just don't go, usually. But this trip we had a 14 hour road trip, and needed somewhere to stay for the night. The cheaper the better, as we are staying a week at Disneyland. I was skeptical of this place, but was shocked to find a nice new room. It isn't a place you stay more than one night, and I will note the beds could be cleaner...no major findings but a questionable hair and what not. Would I go back during a road trip? Possibly. read more

Excellence was Surprisingly Wonderful!!! I drove to see if they would match the low price advertised across the street. I was told 'no', but the desk clerk was so skillful at her job, and so courteous, she had me convinced in no time that this was the place to stay. She asked what affiliations might for discounts, hooked me up with a great rate, not too much more than across the street, and the room was A+++!!! It was so beautiful; I wanted to stay another night! I am driving from Alaska to Arizona, so I have seen the inside of a number of motels; this was the nicest so far. What a value for the money! HDTV, lots of channels, very classey rooms!! Worth 3xs the cost, easily. read more

Great for electronics The Motel 6 in Willows California is a great value for the money. It is apparent that they just repainted and reappointed their rooms. The room was attractive and immaculately clean. The thing that I liked most about it was that it was electronics friendly. They had three sets of two plugs each situated conveniently around the room. I could plug in my computer and all my electronic devices without having to dig behind the bed for an outlet. The soundproofing is not perfect but did not bother me. read more

As good as a cheap motel gets. Recently renovated. Laminate floors (not carpet) are do much easier to keep clean. Pull-through parking spots perfect for car with trailer. Standard motel room layout. read more

The big lady with the tattoos at the front desk was pretty gruff, which was sorta refreshing since most of the desk people are overly nice. The room was fine except the floor didn't look too clean, and it wasn't because I do this skiing thing on the towels after I get out of the shower because I don't like to walk on motel room floors. The towels became almost muddy. read more

Very comfortable rooms. Clean, modern and spacious. We have been driving all night and it was refreshing to find such a great hotel for such a great price. I highly recommend staying here. read more

Of all the Motel 6's up and down from the Canadian border to Vegas going down through Boise and Northern Nevada or up and down the I-5 the Willow Motel 6 has the best pet rooms we have run across as well as the nicest budget "people" room. The floors are lino and clean, the new flatscreen tv is built into a console with hdmi/usb ports, the tub actually had a plug, and it was clean as a whistle. So many motels have stained carpet in their pet rooms and feel absolutely dirty but not this place. The pet walk outside very maintained, clean and nicely mown grass with doggie bags. The front desk person was very helpful, friendly, and fast. Most Motel 6's have really slow wi-fi that drops but this Willow Motel 6 was high speed and no drops. Loved it!!!! read more

Very good services. Clean, quiet and vell provided room and amazing price for the quality!!!

I lived in Willows for about 7 years, I moved but still had family living there when my sister had her baby I called to get my dad a room ( I was gonna stay with a friend) the girl who picked up the phone was so rude. I called to make a reservation but said never mind WE will just go there so I went and dropped my dad off and headed to my friends. The same girl accused my dad of having more than one person staying in the room! I guess she thought I was going to sneak in or something...... For this reason I will NEVER stay at this location again, Holiday Inn Express is way nicer! read more

Mosquitoes Mosquitoes Mosquitoes didn't get much sleep and there where many in the room it self I know this isn't their fault but just so you know this area has them it's the last day of August as I wright this perhaps in the winter time it's a much better place to sleep other that that it's just as any other motel 6 cheap and fairly clean there's plenty of food near by and that's a plus for travelers read more

BEWARE... BED BUGS! We moved once because my boyfriend got mysterious bites within mins of laying down. we went down and she changed our room for us, She was very friendly. This time I checked the seams of our mattress before settling in and found a few right on the corner. It's def bed bugs folks! read more

We stayed here for one night as we were driving north on I-5. We wanted to have dinner at a Black Bear Restaurant so decided to stay. The motel has been very recently renovated. We really enjoyed the big screen TV. The people on the desk were friendly and the Black Bear Restaurant was nearby. Everything worked well. Excellent value. read more

for a $55 (plus tax) room, this place is swanky!!! it's not a 5 star hotel by any means, but it is for sure the coolest/hippest looking motel 6 I've ever stayed at. cool renovations, great place to stay for a break from the road. read more

This is the bet place to stay in Willows. The rooms are much nicer since thy were redone, everything is new and shows very little signs of wear. The beds are comfortable and clean. But best of all is the staff. I always come in at night and Sarah is always on shift to help out. I inadvertently reserved the wrong weekend but Sarah was still able to find me a room even though they looked pretty booked up. Great service and value. I won't stay anywhere else. read more

For the price this refurbished hotel has character! The rooms have new laminate wood flooring, small cute kitchen area with new appliances and a firm mattress. The customer service is excellent. There was a problem with my room and Katy, who was working at the front desk that evening, was pleasant, courteous and helpful. The room I had was a bit dark and the air conditioning was a bit loud, which is typical for lower end motels. For the price this is a good place. read more

Love it. I travel all the time to expensive hotels but on a road trip tend to go for the place by where I can easily pull over. Out of nowhere I got to this motel six and it is straight from the W. Wonderful rooms. Free wifi. No charge for pets. I'm not suggesting you go here only for the hotel as there is nothing here but if you are on the road huge thumbs up. And a great price. read more

Beware of this Motel 6, they will try to overcharge you if they can! I came in about 9:40Pm that night and asked how much was a room, I told the desk clerk that I have a AARP card (which should give me a 10% discount on the room rate) he said around 64.99 plus tax, which totaled $70.55 including tax. I thought this was expensive for a Motel 6 but I was really tired from a very long drive, so I gave him my AARP card and credit card. The next morning out of curiously, I checked my smart phone on the room rate for the motel. It turns out the room rate was $57.99 plus tax. So when I checked out of the motel, I told him he was trying to take advantage of me. He checked his computer and adjusted the rate on his computer and told me it was computer glitch. I checked my invoice and it was not itemized, it just had the $70.55 amount, ( no room rate and the tax rate) he just put in $70.55 amount . BEWARE!!! read more

Great location, clean free awesome wifi. Great service with friendly staff and quiet rooms with a comfy bed. This one of the best motel 6 on our 8000 mile journey! Will come again on our vacation next year read more

This motel was the best Motel Six I have ever stayed at. So clean and love the remodel. Beds were comfortable too. Thanks for the gret service. read more

I got to the hotel and requested a room on the lower level, there were only 2 cars in the whole parking lot but they asked me to stay upstairs due to the cleaning of lights in the rooms down stairs. I was ok with that, but when a car showed up shortly after me, they were put down stairs? I have stayed at this hotel several times and always came back. We stay here whenever we go duck hunting. We had an alarm set at the hotel to get up at 3:30AM and went to bed around 9ish. At around 11:30 PM we heard a bunch of crashing and banging next door. Enough to cause me to get out of bed and see whats going on?? The hotel maintenance and Hotel manager were cleaning the room with no consideration to how loud they were being. when i asked whats going on? The manager simply said we have an inspection coming, apparently an inspection is more important then your guest satisfaction. The Manager explained he was sorry and said he would give me a credit on the room. No credit was given. Sadly I will no longer be staying at this hotel in the future. read more
