Very clean facility. Rooms have been nicely updated. No carpet (which I prefer- cleaner!), and pet friendly WITHOUT an extra charge! Had an issue with the tv, and she came right down and immediately fixed it. Friendly, helpful employees. Nice dog "relief area" that was clean. We've stayed here twice and will stay again! read more

BED BUGS!! Didnt even know what they were before this. And because of that its taken months of high temp washing, freezing clothes, paranoid to sleep or use any bedding or wear anything that could be or might get infected or transfer to new places. Nightmare. I've contacted them repeatedly , they send a form letter but do nothing. I will literally never stay in a hotel again. read more

Ok first and foremost - this is in rural Glenn County, surrounded by agriculture and cow farms. So I was NOT expecting five star lodging. Nevertheless, despite my expectations being low - I was VERY unsatisfied. They charge SF Bay Area prices $140 a night... The rooms are "updated" however all the rooms have a host of maintenance issues - such as the locks not properly working on my door. I left the sign on the door "do not disturb" - made it clear I didn't want room service. While I was out hunting, room service came anyways. The worst part - they TURNED OFF THE AIR CONDITIONING... Which was insanely frustrating, inconsiderate and quite frankly, rude. It is 100% because the cheap penny-pinching manager / owner tells the housekeepers to shut off the AC to save them money. Bro you're charging a fortune for your rooms - LEAVE THE AC ON for Pete's sake. I came back to my hotel room, to rest and go finish the evening hunt - and my room was a million degrees since these cheap clowns turned off the AC. That really sucked. Check out time is nowhere near 9am - and despite me playing music loudly on my phone (housekeeping did NOT knock) they just FLUNG THE DOOR OPEN while I was stark raving NAKED. The housekeeping service sucks - they barge in on you at 9am when you're nude and they shut off the AC when you're out... So when you return to the room mid day, longing for AC and to cool off, they do you the favor of pre heating the room. They provide minimal towels, ONE tiny bar of soap - like it's so obvious how CHEAP the owner is. It trickles down to us who are paying big city prices for a room in the country. Next time I come hunting out here which is often - I'll stay across the street at the best western. DO NOT use this motel 6 unless you like poor/rude housekeeping, cheap owners and meth users. Fairly sure I was the only guest who wasn't a meth user; I had some meth tweekers next door that had little dogs that BARKED ALL NIGHT LONG. AWFUL HOTEL. Even for motel 6 "standards" this place is plain awful. read more

Clean, cheerful and nicely appointed room. Unbelievably comfortable bed!! Colors were muted and soft; so glad it wasn't that horrible orange that is in so many Motel6 motels. We hadn't planned to stay here, but got caught in a terrible storm, and so we pulled off the road 3 hours earlier than planned. I'm so glad we did! A nicer motel room than many I've stayed at, at twice the cost. Aril Patel, General Manager, was professional, accommodating and kind. read more

I think I can easily said that we are a customers of Motel 6 here in Willows, CA for many years already with some breaks here and there due to our Friend's accusation, so we didn't need a hotel every single time we were going to the Thill track, but... here is what I noticed what has changed during almost 7-8 years coming here. The rooms have been remodeled and upgraded - no carpet, no plastic walls in the bathrooms (beautiful tiles instead), new sinks and new Staff!! And huge hats off to Makhiya from the front desk, who not only called us to confirm our reservation, but also made sure we got the room we requested (during the booking process - she didn't have to do it, but she made her efforts to make it work for us) and she was extremely polite and professional while onboarding us! She provided all info we needed regarding our accommodation (even mentioning the current weather condition and timing for mosquitos showing up :) ). Never ever had such a service before at Motel 6 even al staff were just friendly!! Again, room we got is very clean, A/C works great, TV set up including our fav channels, water pressure just awesome, plenty of parking space, designated smoking area, and the most important (at least for me) WiFi working outside even where the pool was before!! My honest and huge appreciation for Makhiya, who was there for us and took her efforts and time to get us in providing so many info and taking care of us like a champ!! Are you looking for a place to stay in Willows - no matter if you are track rider or just visiting Willows - I highly recommend Motel 6 here!! You not gonna be disappointed!! read more

Clean and everything is Organized. I always check everything before we get in and this motel did a great job about cleanliness. We stayed for two nights and we dont had any issue. No hassles, internet is good and reception didnt gave us any problem at all. We definitely had a nice stay. read more

DISGUSTING!! We had to move 2 rooms and could have kept going! FIRST ROOM: The first room had HAIR on the pillows, bed sheets, towels and cup marks on the table, as if they didn't wipe anything!! During COVID! There were 2 SPIDERS In the rooM on the wall. We called and the owner apologized and had us move rooms. 2nd ROOM: More hair on the pillows, sheets, and towels!! PLUS A HUGE STAIN ON THE BED COVER!! Throw that shit away!! More spiders on the wall AND A HUGE SPIDER IN THE CURTAINS WITH A NEST! Probably had been there for a long time. Stains on wall and curtains! Very gross. I complained to the owner and he offer a 30% refund... and blamed the maids for quitting on it being like that... GO QUALITY CHECK ALL YOUR ROOMS AFTER IF YOU NEED TO. This is unacceptable, ESPECIALLY DURING COVID! read more

Stayed here midway on our 1200 mile road trip. I found this location online while we were driving and was able to book it when we were all ready to stop for the night. When we checked in it wasn't very busy or noisy but somehow as the night went on the noise got worse, even though it was late. Someone in a nearby room parked their loud diesel truck right in front of our room and kept coming and going all night. Another car kept coming and going all night and the car would honk every time its alarm was set. These people didn't seem like travelers but perhaps folks living here or an extended stay. I'm disappointed that management allows this kind of loud and disruptive behavior. What really made me unable to truly sleep was when I (because I was already awake and not sleeping well) heard someone attempt to enter our room several times in the middle of the night, (I could hear them inserting the card in the door and trying to open it) before they finally left. That got my adrenaline going and ruined any chance I had of sleeping again for the night. My two kids slept, my husband slept poorly, and I got next to no sleep (I was closest to the window/parking). The beds need more pillows. We each got one incredibly small measly pillow which made it hard to get comfortable. The room was clean. I liked having an openable back window for fresh air. The lobby coffee was disgusting. Waste of $100 and made us so wary that on the drive home we all (kids included) voted to just drive until 1:30 am and just get home vs stopping at a sleepless cheap motel again. read more

Passing through for the sublime with Rome concert in Corning. I been to a lot of motel6s and this one surpassed my expectations. Room was huge and the perfect amount of space for my dogs and I. I have two Siberian huskies so to find room without feeling crammed is amazing. They also have a great doggy outdoor space for your furry companion to go on (you guys need more poop bags btw :) ) Shower had amazing water pressure and it was quiet all night with no drama or getting packed whatsoever. So I highly recommend and would stay here again if given a chance. read more

Forget your image about Motel 6. The decor at this one can almost be called "hip". Contemporary furnishings, bold colors and a flat screen TV! Nothing I expected. Two things they could improve, noise isolation and the bathroom decor just doesn't go with the rest of the room. Clean, functional and inexpensive. This maybe my place to stay whenever I do track days at Thunderhill from now on. read more

Stopped in here during a fast paced trip through the area. We originally planned to stop at the Motel 6 in Williams, a little South of here, but changed our plan when the front desk in Williams informed us that they had no working AC. So we continued up the road to this location, because when it's hitting 104 during the day, AC is a thing. We laughed about the notes everywhere stating to keep doors shut due to the large bug population during this time of year. But honestly, it was almost midnight and we were beyond tired, so everything seemed funny. The room was decent, it's Motel 6 so you get what you get. Really we needed a place to crash for a few hours and it appeared it would work. The toilet was so tight to the wall you almost couldn't sit down and you definitely couldn't sit straight, you had to kind of sit at an angle on it. So that's a little annoying. I don't see how a larger person could make it work. The AC unit that we were so happy to have was so insanely loud that it kept me up most of the time. I struggle with noise while sleeping, so this was a major issue. It sounded like a jet engine when working to cool the room and sounded like a bunch of tin cans clanging together between cycles, so there was no time that it wasn't annoyingly loud. I noticed the next day that I had an insane amount of bug bites all over my legs and arms. I won't accuse these of being from anything in particular, but thinking back on it now it seems like posting a sign that mentions a lot of bugs is a good way to hide a bedbug problem. Just saying. read more

No complaints. As often as I come up here for trackdays and deciding to stay at the hotel vs camping at the track digs a hole in my wallet. Sooo.... good thing I sleep right away and get up n ready to leave. It's pretty good! You get what you pay for, bed isn't bad. Pillows are cruddy and missing a few cotton pieces (internally). Free exfoliating service from the bath towels. Small fridge and microwave. An encased tv, some hangers, a small table with two chairs. All of which I've yet to use.... maybe. Overall, I'd stay here again. Sure, if I have fancier friends, I'd probably move over to the best western or holiday inn. read more

1 for the sheer fact that the management has no consideration for people that stay there. Three times now I have been there and needed to charge my car. All three times the "manager" leaves their cars there like it's a personal reserved spot. Three times I came in late and politely asked to be informed of when they move or if they will be in to call my room so I can charge and not be stranded because I have to wait somewhere else to charge. But nope. So until then, 1 star. This along with anyone that I know that will be stating there. When track season starts again next year, if they don't stop with taking up charging spaces, expect reviews from a lot of racers from thunder hill. read more

Ever since all the Motel 6's have renovated, I have to say this is not a bad place to stay. I used to hole myself up at the Days Inn across the street because it was the only decent place in Willows when you're there for a track day, but not anymore! The renovations here at Motel 6 include new bathrooms, new A/C units, new "TV" encased in what may look like an iPod to some... and new hard wood floors! The beds may be the same, but the hard wood floors no longer make me feel ICKY when I step on it and wonder if its slightly damp and moldy beneath my feet ... The price is very reasonable, and generally it's a clean place to be. The pool definitely leaves something to be desired but then again ... it's ... middle of nowhere so no complaints. The front desk lady is nice, but horribly bad with memory, she will give your keys (spare) to anyone who is willing to give up your name. **WARNING** I'm serious, they will give someone your key if they just say they were you, without checking IDs or anything. read more

The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean, and l liked the décor. The bright color walls and the flat screen T.V in a case built into the wall gave the room a very contemporary look. The only problem for me was it was a cold night and there was only a thin blanket on the bed. I had to turn on the heater to get warm and every time it came on I woke up. This might not be a problem for other people, but it sure was for me I will still stay here when I come back to Willows, but being cold reduced this from a 4 star review to 3.4 read more

Beware!! Unfair business practices! I have stayed in motel 6's before and expected a no frills, clean place to sleep while visiting family. I booked 2 nights through Hotels.com and paid at the property. Checked in, went to the room and noticed a strong musty smell. The condition of the building is poor and the pool in filled in with dirt. Being an asthmatic, I decided it wasn't safe for me and went to the lobby to cancel my reservation. She informed me that I could only get one night refunded. Since I booked with Hotels.com, I left and called them and they said I was entitled to a full refund! 15 days later and I have still not received my full refund!! I have been working with Hotels.com but they are just getting the run a round from this Motel 6. I wouldn't have even left a bad review because everyone's opinion of cheaper motels is different but when it comes to unfair business practices... that speaks volumes! Do yourself a favor a stay across the street at the Holiday Inn Express! They were fabulous!! read more

This is not your regular Motel 6. The rooms have been redone quite nicely. Flooring is laminate fake hardwood, which looks nice and doesn't absorb the normal smell and funk a cheap motel will. Comfortable queen beds in double rooms. Nice flat screen TVs. New plumbing fixtures. Soap, shampoo, and lotion dispensers instead of the insanely small Motel 6 bars of soap. It does cost about $10 more a night than the Super8 across the street or the Motel 6's in the nearest towns, but it's well worth it. read more

My complaint is more with the clientele than the hotel. Why is it necessary to play your car stereo full blast with the car open when you arrive and leave it on for 1/2 an hour? WHY the hell do you do it again at 5AM? Had to keep the back window closed as well due to the noise. Why also don't you pick up after your pets? Just because you pay for a room it doesn't give you the right to be disgusting. The only room they said was available was a smoking room. They provided an O-zone machine but picked it up after 45 minutes. Rooms were clean, staff polite. Won't be back. NO coffee in the rooms and the onsite Chinese restaurant is quite poor. read more

Well, the remodeling was finished in the off-season, and Motel 6 Willows is now my new home at the track. New furniture, new bedding, flooring, and the rest of decor. No carpets -- instead they use laminate hardwood flooring, which is super-good for someone who has allergies, like me. I have stayed there twice this season already and plan on staying there again next time I am at Thunderhill. After a day doing the roundy-round in the hot sun, I can simply walk across the parking lot to a restaurant, and another few steps bring me back and into the bad to be ready for another day at the track. The service is friendly, though the wireless is flaky, not like I really cared, because I was too tired to surf the intartubes. What more can you ask for? read more

The parking at this location is awful. on 1-11-20 my truck was hit in the parking lot by another person staying at Motel6 willows. Motel 6 REFUSES to help me in any way. They have a very good surveillance system, and records of who stays in the rooms. They do in fact have video of my truck being hit by another customer who realized it, and refused to accept responsibility. The indian lady was so rude at the counter that I had to call the sheriff and have them file a report. It's a shame that Motel6 willows refuses to help me hold the person who hit my truck responsible. Please do not give these people your business, if your car is hit in their lot and they have it on film they will not help you. I will be filing a petition to get a copy of this footage, and if I have to will fire a small claims court case against Motel6 (who is independently owned and corporate will not help). Motel 6 if you help me I'll have no problem editing this review. There are two other great motels with better parking right across the street, please patronize them! read more

Motel 6 - how'd you feel if this was you and motel6 could make the person responsible, but refuses - Hotels Near Me - Willows, California

All of the staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. The room felt clean and modern. I like the fact that the floors aren't carpet, it feels as though the room is cleaner, you never know when the other hotels actually clean the carpet. The parking lot is a little small so you may have to park elsewhere if you have a trailer, we were towing a car trailer when we came here and had to park off site. The door to the outside could use a little better weatherstripping as there seemed to be more than the average amount of sound coming in. Our hvac unit worked well and kept the room at just the right temp. We'll stay here again as the price was right! read more

I came to this place due to a recent local track day event. The interior was recently remodeled. Sarah over the phone was very sincere and accommodating for arrangement and question. When I checked in on Friday, the receptionist at the front desk was very cold and not friendly at all. During my stay, I woke up in the middle of the night as I felt there was something itching on my forehead. When I tried to scratch, here it was (please see my photo). I felt tricked by all the great 4/5 star reviews on here. I got my room, walked in and was immediately disgusted. The room didn't look renovated, it looked as if they literally slapped wall paper flooring down and changed the furniture out. The bathroom fixtures still looked grimey and obviously original. The sheets looked dingy and one pillow case had a yellow tinge to it. I had only been in the room for about 5 mins before I called the front desk to ask to get my money back. She asked what my reason was, and I didn't want to insult the nice lady so I just said, it didn't look like the pictures I saw on Yelp. She said she couldn't give me a full refund, and that she had to charge me 30 percent of the room cost. I was a little annoyed but at this point I didn't care, it was better than nothing and I just wanted out. The saying "you get what you pay for" is true for this place. All I can say is if you are thinking about staying here, ask to see the room first before paying. That way you know what you're in for. read more

One star is being generous. Reserved two adjoining rooms, first one smelled like urine and the second one ac didn't work. Complained to office and they said we are full due to hunting season. Let me be clear. I am not saying this is a 5 star hotel. It is a 5 star Motel 6, which is an entirely different beast. When I travel with my dog, I usually plan out my drive and my stops in advance so I can find decent dog friendly lodging, but when the goal is to drive as far as I can before I need to stop, the Motel 6 sign is what I look for. That sign tells me I will find a low/moderately priced, moderately/very crappy motel room that will accept my dog and will nickel and dime me by charging PER DEVICE for internet access. It was very late. I was getting tired, and I knew I would be feeling the pain before the next town with a Motel 6, so I took the exit. I was pleasantly surprised that this Motel 6 sign was over a readerboard that announced FREE wi-fi. I stopped, went into the office to speak with the mostly competent, slightly crabby, clerk on duty, agreed on a rate and checked in. I was shocked when I opened the door to my room. What is this witchcraft? A little roadside chain motel that was trying to look like an urban hipster independent, and was more or less succeeding. I've stayed in way more expensive, dirtier, and shabbier "boutique" hotels, that never would have let my dog stay with me. The laminate flooring was actually clean. I didn't even know a clean floor was an option at a Motel 6! The TV set-up had an easy to access panel for connecting my own devices to it. I had to call down to get the wi-fi code from the clerk, which seemed to aggravate him, but he could have saved us both the trouble by giving it to me when I checked in. The wi-fi worked just fine, which is also a step up from the normal Motel 6 experience. The pet area was a decent size and even had a baggy dispenser. Of course the walls are still too thin, and the same people I'm sure I annoyed by arriving so late got to exact revenge a few hours later by getting on the road at the crack of dawn. Nonetheless this was so much better than any other Motel 6 I've had the misfortune of staying in that it felt like I'd slipped into an alternate dimension. read more

A family emergency had us driving late in to the night and scrambling for a place to stay. The only hotel with openings (I was told due to the fires in the area) was motel 6. Myself and my 3 kids checked in to our room a little before midnight. The room was about what you would expect in a motel 6. I got the kids settled in to bed, fell asleep exhausted and around 1 am was awoken to a nasty smell coming in from under the adjoining door (chemical smell and smoke) and then sex noises VERY , VERY loud. I turned the TV up all the way and the sounds went on and on. I felt helpless as we had no where else to stay and with people littering about outside i didn't feel safe leaving with little kids in the early morning hours. We got no sleep and didn't want to even shower there as the bathroom was gross. My husband and I went here to stay for 2 nights because of a track day. Nicely remodeled motel room, wood floors. Pool was in terrible shape with no skimmer or anything to clean it with. The town in general has a lot of Mosquitos that are out in the mornings and evenings. So with that I thiught maybe I just got a lot of mosquito bites on the Friday night, and somehow didn't notice them until Saturday morning. I did wake up after one night of staying there (stayed Friday night and Saturday night) with lots of red bite marks in a line kind of formation on my legs. I have a gut feeling it was bed bugs but cannot be sure. It seems I got the worst of it and my husband didn't get as many. I think I got more red mark bites on my feet after the second night staying here. Motel 6 Willows. Never again. I have to say the only reason that I give it a 1 is the ladies that worked there were very helpful. The guy checking us in not friendly, very rude. The rooms, well they look like they were good in the pictures, but once you got there not so great. I thought I had on stickie shoes, nope the floors were stick and dirty. The tv's in the room did not work, could only get about 2 channels that worked and that was after the person working the front desk fixed what she could. And she was so nice. No coffee in the room. You had to go to the office to get it and it was so bad. I don't mind going to the office to get coffee but only if it is worth it. Oh, I almost forgot we got a king room for 2 and only got 3 flat pillows, I could not get comfortable. The beds hard as a rock.
