Our cars in the lot

We stayed here with a group of vintage car enthusiasts. The staff was very accommodating and responsive to requests, even arranging a taco truck for the group. The amenities were basic (no breakfast offered or in-room coffee maker) but there's a fridge and microwave and a Starbucks right across the parking lot. Everything was clean and in good condition. The bed was comfortable and the front desk had no problem providing me with an extra pillow pretty late at night. Overall a great value for the price level.

After checking the map, I decided this would be a good midway stopping point for the night, halfway between LA and my final destination, Portland. Plus at $40 per night it worked for me. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/NtL1BjRPi9XP35AURgTOcg?select=L8TxWiX7EnTAOTyyLYuONw#L8TxWiX7EnTAOTyyLYuONw I stayed here twice, on the way up and the way back down to LA as well. Checking in and out was both easy and painless. Apparently Motel 6 has been remodeling or "refreshing" the rooms at many of their properties, giving them a "new look" with new colors, dark furnishings and fake bamboo laminate floors, etc http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/NtL1BjRPi9XP35AURgTOcg?select=L8TxWiX7EnTAOTyyLYuONw#lrASeinQ8tAPy6GaMccPrA I have to say their "new look" works. It would seem they're trying to include more amenities because my rooms had a small refrigerator and microwave as well http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/NtL1BjRPi9XP35AURgTOcg?select=L8TxWiX7EnTAOTyyLYuONw#lkQkE3zXSOhZeGVMLzQkAg The bed was very, let me repeat, VERY comfortable! It felt like a new mattress and honestly was more comfortable than I expected. The bathroom had been updated as well, with a semi recessed vessel sink, a nice touch http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/NtL1BjRPi9XP35AURgTOcg?select=L8TxWiX7EnTAOTyyLYuONw#R2a-Wr2LNYnrnnfWBf8BDQ Added bonus, they have FREE Wi-FI, SCHWEET! This location has a pool (closed for winter) and a coin-op laundry room is available should you need it http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/NtL1BjRPi9XP35AURgTOcg?select=L8TxWiX7EnTAOTyyLYuONw#KgBVkSkGa2OzChnMnfla8g a nice touch. LOCATION TIP: Use the address "20 Sale Lane" for your navigation. For some reason when I set my NAV for "20 Williams Ave", it took me to a trailer park about 3/4 mile away.

This is hands down the most disgusting room I have ever seen. I actually had to make them give me clean sheets, and that was a struggle. The comforter has holes in it, and so did the sheets. There was hair in the beds. There were tons of bugs in the light fixtures and flies in the room. The ONLY reason we stayed was because of the fires there were no other rooms available. We slept on top of the new sheets and left after a few hours. The only good thing was that the ac worked. Also the fire detector was ripped off the wall.

He was quick so I barely got a picture off. Went into the wall where the molding stopped.

"They'll leave the light on for ya" cuz it keeps the roaches away. Guess we should have looked at the reviews. Was really late after a long drive and the price was lower than the rest. Met w crowd of creepy dudes as we pulled in. Very little parking as result. Thought nothing of it until I saw the hooker comment in another review.. Stepped in dog crap packing in and such a sign of things to come. Shoddy fixtures in minimalist no tub shower. The wifi is a joke. Can't do anything on my phone w it. AC works but sounds like a walk in refrigerator. Unforgivable part is cockroaches in the walls. They were small to medium sized so you know there's an infestation. Checked bed after seeing others pics. Seems ok. Still... Avoid this lodging. Probably didn't save anything w 2 occupants anyway.

Part of the security latch was missing, rendering it totally useless.

King suite has plenty of space with sofa, coffee table and chaise lounge, desk area, closet, luggage rack and TV. Entry holds a mini-fridge, microwave and ice bucket. No coffee pot. Coffee is available 24/7 in the lobby. Bed was comfortable with king bed size pillows of different densities. Soft sheets. comfortable blanket. Bed was soft. Bath/shower combo with multi-use product on wall. Large vanity area, towels stored below. The floor could have been cleaner, but the rest of the bathroom was clean and everything worked well. Breakfast buffet included four hot items, toaster, cereal, fruit, pancakes, juice, yogurt, hardboiled egg. Coffee is brewed by the cup and takes a minute to process. Keycard needed to enter exterior doors, pool and fitness center. Indoor heated pool and hot tub area are in good condition with one large shower room and pool towels. Fitness center includes free weights, treadmill and more, plus towels. Smells like a gym. One elevator. Ice machine on ground floor. Parking lot is big enough, includes EV spots at the back and handicap spots at the side.

So, I put them up here at the Holiday Inn Express. It's near my house at the north end of town so it easy and I used some of my rewards points I have from all my business travel. This location located right next to the Home Depot has been recently remodeled and I all nice and new in the front downstairs area. They used to have a grand piano here, but now that's gone. Check in was easy and the room was fine. Fridge and microwave included. I didn't check the WiFi, but my parents aren't big on the internet thing, they'd rather just watch regular TV. Breakfast was good as usual, and the selections are all about the same at all Holiday Inn Express locations, with good hot foods and breads for toasting. I'm glad this place is near my house and my out of town guests have a nice place to stay. I love the cinnamon rolls here!

Very nice place…read more The room was bigger than expected, and had a modern design aesthetic. I appreciated that the room has a fridge and microwave, and lots of places to plug in to charge phones, and USB charging ports next to the bed. The bed was comfortable. The room and surrounding area were quiet. The AC in the room was also relatively quiet. There is a large parking lot, which made parking my truck easier than usual. The parking lot is also well lit. The parking lot has EV chargers. The breakfast was very nice, and items were being replenished frequently; and the USB ports for charging at the table were something I haven't seen before. I didn't use the fitness room or the pool on my stay, so cannot comment on those. The staff was friendly. It feels like the whole place has been recently renovated for the modern traveler.

Rating: 1/5 Stars - DISGUSTING, OVERPRICED, AND UNINHABITABLE…read moreDo not stay here. It is an absolute scam. They are charging $150 a night in Red Bluff for what is essentially a bug-infested closet. This is pure price gouging and taking advantage of travelers who have nowhere else to go. The moment we walked in, we were hit with a revolting, overwhelming smell that permeated the entire building. To make matters worse, there were millions of bugs all over the hotel. It felt like a health hazard just standing in the lobby. Once we finally checked in, the nightmare continued: * The Heat: The room was stiflingly hot. It took over two hours for the AC to bring the temperature down to a tolerable level. * The Fridge: In a ridiculous attempt to "conserve energy," they keep the refrigerators turned off. So, if you have food or cold drinks, expect them to sit at room temperature while you wait for the appliance to actually start working. * The Beds: You might as well sleep on the parking lot pavement. The beds were hard as a rock and completely uncomfortable. This place is a disgrace. Save your money and your sanity--stay literally anywhere else. This "hotel" shouldn't be open for business.

It's not up to par with some of the hotels I've stayed at nearby, pretty run down. As clean as…read moreclean can be. Will I stay here again? Probably not...but the price was right for three of us to split. For us this trip it's not about the hotels, it's just a place to rest. As long as I don't see bugs or unwanted fluid I'm fine. I ran my blacklight, while my friend sanitized where needed. We didn't hang out coats on the rack because it looked like something splashed all over after I ran the blacklight through it . Bedding had a few stains but at least it didn't look like blood or seminal fluid . So my friends are sleeping, I'm up at after 3am writing this because I can't sleep. I will have to say this place is pretty quiet. At first I was very afraid because upon arrival the train was so loud and we were worried there will be no sleep all night. It's past 3am and I hear a train, but it's not loud at all. I don't hear the neighbors either. So it's nice that the rooms are pretty soundproof. There's a little coffee pot, a couple coffee packs, a mini fridge. We didn't have to use because we have an ice cooler, and a small tv. Paul at the front desk brought us more towels. They provide you with dark towels also to remove your makeup. They charge you extra if your towels are stained. I have blue hair so I bring my own dark towels, and my own pillow cases so I don't stain any hotel beddings. So I shouldn't be charged at checkout. There are plenty of outlets, and usb plug ins for the three of us to charge our devices. Front desk made sure we were on the first floor so we could park right in front. That was very convenient. That's why I give this place a three star instead of a two. If anything changes after checkout I'll be sure to update. The photos I posted aren't mine. They were just random photos I saved from somewhere else.

Absolutely disgusting motel. First let's start with the description online of their breakfast…read more... Breakfast - Every morning from 6am to 9am we host a complimentary breakfast of fresh waffles, fresh eggs, and a large continental selection featuring two kinds of cereal, a variety of oatmeal flavors, toast in wheat and white, bagels in plain, chocolate chip and blueberry, sausage and egg breakfast sandwich, yogurt in assorted flavors, fruit cups in juice in assorted varieties, fresh fruit including apples and bananas, regular and decaf coffee and black tea. This breakfast was not the case either morning. It was literally two boxes of donuts sitting on a counter next to a refrigerator with locks on it, with a sign that said employees only. There was also coffee and two types of cereal. Please see video... Ok let's see what's next. Ohhhh yes. The binder in the room (which actually did not happen to be in mine, so they better not charge me). My parents stayed in the room next to me and showed me their binder which included the price list, if you decided to take any of the room amenities home. Not sure which was my favorite. The mattress or the air conditioner? I have also attached a copy of the price list for your enjoyment. As if all of that wasn't bad enough, I woke up and went to take a shower this morning and found a friend crawling around the shower wall/ceiling. I took this short attached video and then went to grab a shoe to kill it and when I turned back around it was gone. I didn't see this listed on the amenities price list so hopefully I didn't take it home with me. There is also not any staff to help you if you need anything. We stopped by the office multiple times to speak with someone but never found anyone. When we got there, there was no one at the front desk, but there was a buzzer and when the lady came, she looked a little bit annoyed, but she checked us in. After that, they removed the buzzer so I'm not sure how you contact somebody. I am not sure what other options there are if you need to stay in this area but I would definitely not recommend. I would have given zero stars if allowed.

Food was OK, not special, not at all below par. But- We were told by this nice girl that we could order after we paid. Watching, nobody else got this treatment. For them, it was order, eat, pay on the way out. Because it's some private club? Why is this open to public, then? She said nothing about drinks. They had coffee on the other tables. When she went to the table nearby, the dude said "I want all the sh.."- when vulgarity is disallowed at Moose to our knowledge. Server girl asked "You want coffee or juice? I'll make you a fresh pot." So he's the owner? The Grand Wizard or something? A whole pot of coffee, and y'all outsiders get- ? None. It probably comes down to small-town xenophobia. It's also the 21st century. California. You'd think we'd evolved. For the money, go to Denny's on Antelope. Similar amounts, food and cost, but more pleasant service. Really friendly, actually. They just don't like outsiders here. Moose is known for this. We just hoped they'd changed.
