Don't stay here!!! We have stayed here several times in the past without any issues. However, our last visit insures we will never be back. We arrived around 9:00 pm after a long day of driving. Once we got to our room, it was clear the cleaning had not been completed. In the bathroom there was a used washcloth draped over the shampoo dispenser in the shower, a used bar of soap in the soap dish by the sink, the toilet seat was up, napkins on the table by the bed. These things put us on high alert so we checked the bed, where we found hairs on the sheets.We immediately reported it to the front desk, who told us the hotel was full so they couldn't move us. So, we asked for clean bedding so we could change the sheets. After 3 attempts, we got the correct size sheets and were able to sleep there. I made three attempts to talk to the owners/managers, but they did not call back. I then lodged a complaint with Hilton. They contacted the hotel who said they were unwilling to do anything about it. I find it alarming that they are okay with what happened! So, I guess the message is that it's fine when there are no issues but if you have any, don't expect the owners to do anything about it! read more

Room was nice. Heater wasn't working initially but they came and got it fixed. The thermostat was definitely off, it was set to 76 and it wasn't anywhere close to that. I keep my thermostat at 66 and it is warmer. read more

We stayed as a landing place for our trip to Lassen Volcanic National Park. The rooms were very clean and the service was stop on. They do offer breakfast in the mornings and had a very nice selection of choices. By this point I have gotten to know the breakfast rotation so I was very surprised to see options I haven't seen at any other Hilton properties so far. This Hampton Inn & Suites has become our regular overnight stop between Central Valley of California and Central Oregon. It has very easy access to and from I-5, plenty of onsite parking, friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a nice complimentary breakfast. Just about everything that a tired traveler needs. Another plus is the assortment of nice, nearby restaurants In Red Bluff. The hotel and room were clean. However, the walls are very thin. We were on the second floor and when someone walked above us it sounded as if the ceiling was going to give out. First night, our next door guests decided to party until 1 in the morning, even though we called the front desk at 11pm to let them know. Second night, they were replaced by guests with a crying baby who kept waking up throughout the night. Despite wearing ear plugs, noise coming through the walls is not tolerable. Then we were finally able to go to sleep around 5 in the morning, the beautiful light coming in through the cheap plastic blinds makes sure you can't sleep. This is the first hotel I've ever visited, that didn't have curtains! Not sure what customer service other reviewers are talking about since there never seems to be anyone manning the front desk. The young man who checked us in after we waited in the lobby for 5 mins was very rushed and not at all friendly. If you value sleep, I would not recommend this hotel! read more

Made a same day reservation on the Hilton Honors app. Check in was available immediately on the app & a digital key was available in the app as well! Too easy! This feature is nice when you're tired and just want to get to your room. When I got up to my room I was happy to see an upgraded room with fixtures. Plenty of towels & hygiene toiletries. I personally used what was available. I looked up the brand and they are known for being "clean" as in no harsh chemicals / dyes. I thought that was a cool option. There's a card saying if you forgot anything to come down to the front desk for complimentary options. There are a great number of electrical outlets which was awesome since I was traveling for work and needed to get all my devices charged. Bed and pillows were so comfy. I fell asleep quickly and comfortably! A hot breakfast is included! Items included bacon and omelette bar, waffle maker, various baked goods, fresh fruit, oat meal and cold cereal. There's a 24 hour coffee and water bar at check-in. Free parking on site & located a couple miles off of I-5. Would definitely stay again. read more

I'm here in red bluff for a business trip; here's a quick run down: PROS Comfortable beds Clean towels, sheets etc Convenient location Easy check in (used app & didn't interact with staff) Cons: 1st floor smells like cigarettes (I had 2nd floor so it wasn't as prominent) You can hear just about everything since the walls are thin. absolutely the worst hotel experience..we booked our hotel room sweet for two nights on the Hilton app. When we arrived, we found we had two room reservations for one night. The front desk told us she would need to call the manager to ask if she could refund one of the reservations..what? One of the reservations we didn't make? Meanwhile, I'm exhausted from a 5 hour car ride and my toddler is so having a full meltdown in the lobby. This place was just alright, but I wouldn't stay here again. All the camping spots around Lassen Volcanic National Park were booked this weekend so we opted for a hotel stay for two nights. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: - Super spacious rooms. - Lots of great TV channels. - Free continental breakfast with different offerings per day. - Free coffee and tea 24/7. - Plenty of towels in the bathroom. Cons: - Walls are THIN. I'm a light sleeper and could hear every single person that went through the hall. - It had the weirdest bathroom sink set up I've ever seen! The tap is on the right-side of the sink so when you're washing your hands, all the water from your right hand gets all over the counter. - Pillows were very flat. - Elevators were super slow so we just ended up taking the stairs most of the time. I think this is totally fine for a night or two, but I'd definitely try elsewhere next time I'm in Red Bluff. read more

They offered to make a bad experience up to us then didn't make the reservation when we arrived the desk clerk would not look up what was available, stood there and looked at us then left it to us to book online before she would look up rooms. Friendly staff however, we weren't pleased by our room that had carpet stains and a broken window pane, complete with the broken glass still in the frame, covered with cardboard. I know Covid is straining a lot of resources and services but this just seemed a bit much. Overall, it was okay. From check in to check out everything was great. The front desk staff was friendly. She checked us in quickly as she multitasked on the phone and with lobby guests. Heather who I had spoken to prior to arrival was awesome. She helped me resolve an issue before coming. My stay was ruined by an employee's passive-aggressive behavior; who's name was curtis, including turning off the lobby lights and the TV without warning. Additionally, his threatening demeanor towards multiple guests, threatening to kick us out of the building, created a hostile atmosphere. This type of behavior is unacceptable in the hospitality industry and severely detracted from my enjoyment of the stay. read more

The check in staff was slow. They did not give me a receipt upon check out.. The room was 141.90 for a night. I was charged 150 extra and don't know why. The breakfast (included) was horrible. We stayed there because we were traveling with our 3 dogs. A chihuahua, a bearded collie and a great Pyranees. We were not told of any additional charges.we got in late (11 pm) and left at 8 am. I'm currently staying at this hotel. I woke up early, and headed to breakfast at 9:18 AM only to find that the sausage, and biscuits and gravy were empty. This left the breakfast basics such as a waffle maker, apples, dry cereal, and yogurt cups. Being that I could get those options at most hotels I decided to patiently wait for the "hot breakfast" featured on their website to replenish. I gave up waiting at 9:31 AM, and I'm now in my SUV, and leaving the hotel to go pay for a hot breakfast somewhere else even though it's "included" in my stay. Disappointing. read more

I don't know what any of these comments are talking about it being good, front desk guy tall wears glasses has an attitude all the time while his wife walks around doing a lot with a smile on her face she's not the problem he is *Customer service from her is good but he's terrible always in a pissy mood I locked my self outtve my room then need to get back in so I went and asked the guy at the front desk to ask for a new card an so he gets me a new card that one doesn't work so I go back to the desk again to have him help same thing so I come back again to solve the problem not even mad. I actually said sorry man still isn't working and was laughing about it. He proceeded to give me a mean ugly smug look at me like I'm dumb or something then goes I "goto your room and I figure it out " then walks out all mad so I fallow him and he goes to the door it won't open with that card so he opens it with his master. When he does that he swings my door open with an attitude and sees that there's a mess from the night before on my table and starts telling me I'm messy and can't keep the room like that when I literally had a fast food meal out that I hadn't thrown away yet... that isn't even his business lol -The rooms are terrible they smell like cigarettes and the shower temp is only scolding hot (no cold water ) the ac in some rooms doesn't work and when they do they usually smell like black mold wich is super bad you wake up feeling congested and sick The only thing reasonable is the 50$ nights stay on Priceline lol I work a blue collar job so I stay in hotel a lot and this one sucks Plus you got tweakers everywhere trust me read my comment and make your decision based off my experience I'm not being overdramatic or some Karen it's honestly just super ghetto if that's down your alley and you don't care than it's for you read more

And outside is in need of work a pile of rubbish was left on the side walk for 4 days and almost all the lights around the west side and back of building are broken which makes it unsafe to walk the path or take my service dog to grass to potty we were there for 7 days and I was the only one I saw clean up after her animal. read more

The rooms are clean, the breakfast is good and so is the service. But the pool is a disaster! There's no hot tub, and the main pool was freezing cold - in July! Also, the main pool was leaking water. My son (who can handle cold water) watched the water level drop at least 4 inches while he spent an hour in the water. If they can get a hot tub and fix the leaking pool I would give this place 5 stars - I know Hilton has the money to do that! read more

It is sad to see a hotel that's supposed to be associated with a renowned Hotelier like Hilton provide such poor customer service! I had to make an emergency drive from Washington State down to Southern California and back. This place was just about midpoint, so I stayed here both ways. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the handicap accessible room was one of the largest I've ever seen. The down sides: 1 No walk/roll in shower. It was a standard tub where you needed to step up and over the side of the tub 2 The TV remote would only change the channel if you sat at the foot of the closest bed and stretched your arm out. Or we're standing directly in front of the TV. Otherwise, clean hotel, friendly staff, and a decent free breakfast. read more

Absolutely ghastly experience. We walked into the hotel and absolutely no one was wearing a mask. Please be aware this was at the height of the pandemic. There was a man drinking a beer flirting with a girl at the front desk so it took us over 20 minutes to get her attention. The first room they checked us into had not been cleaned or sanitized. As a matter of fact, the bed hadn't even been made. No one had touched it since the last person stayed there. We got them to move us to another room which was okay but we couldn't really leave the room because of everybody running around without masks. I'm a diamond member with Hilton and I will no longer stay at this property. I will not run the risk of me or my family getting sick or injured due to the lack of safety precautions. read more

Good quality hotel! The desk staff was extremely personable and friendly. Definitely a great asset for the hotel! The double queen suite was large and very clean. Nice snack room for goodies for the kids. My only cons was that 1. The pool wasn't heated - but then again who else but crazy kids would want to swim in 40 degree weather and 2. Could hear the kIds jumping in the room above us starting at 6. Next time will stay on the 3rd floor - easy for that. Would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.
