Probably not...but the price was right for three of us to split. For us this trip it's not about the hotels, it's just a place to rest. As long as I don't see bugs or unwanted fluid I'm fine. I ran my blacklight, while my friend sanitized where needed. We didn't hang out coats on the rack because it looked like something splashed all over after I ran the blacklight through it . Bedding had a few stains but at least it didn't look like blood or seminal fluid . So my friends are sleeping, I'm up at after 3am writing this because I can't sleep. I will have to say this place is pretty quiet. At first I was very afraid because upon arrival the train was so loud and we were worried there will be no sleep all night. It's past 3am and I hear a train, but it's not loud at all. I don't hear the neighbors either. So it's nice that the rooms are pretty soundproof. There's a little coffee pot, a couple coffee packs, a mini fridge. We didn't have to use because we have an ice cooler, and a small tv. Paul at the front desk brought us more towels. They provide you with dark towels also to remove your makeup. They charge you extra if your towels are stained. I have blue hair so I bring my own dark towels, and my own pillow cases so I don't stain any hotel beddings. So I shouldn't be charged at checkout. There are plenty of outlets, and usb plug ins for the three of us to charge our devices. Front desk made sure we were on the first floor so we could park right in front. That was very convenient. That's why I give this place a three star instead of a two. If anything changes after checkout I'll be sure to update. The photos I posted aren't mine. This breakfast was not the case either morning. It was literally two boxes of donuts sitting on a counter next to a refrigerator with locks on it, with a sign that said employees only. There was also coffee and two types of cereal. Please see video... Ok let's see what's next. Ohhhh yes. The binder in the room (which actually did not happen to be in mine, so they better not charge me). My parents stayed in the room next to me and showed me their binder which included the price list, if you decided to take any of the room amenities home. Not sure which was my favorite. The mattress or the air conditioner? I have also attached a copy of the price list for your enjoyment. As if all of that wasn't bad enough, I woke up and went to take a shower this morning and found a friend crawling around the shower wall/ceiling. I took this short attached video and then went to grab a shoe to kill it and when I turned back around it was gone. I didn't see this listed on the amenities price list so hopefully I didn't take it home with me. There is also not any staff to help you if you need anything. We stopped by the office multiple times to speak with someone but never found anyone. When we got there, there was no one at the front desk, but there was a buzzer and when the lady came, she looked a little bit annoyed, but she checked us in. After that, they removed the buzzer so I'm not sure how you contact somebody. I am not sure what other options there are if you need to stay in this area but I would definitely not recommend. I would have given zero stars if allowed.

I had an amazing time here. The lodge is super nice, with lots of rooms. Each room is unique and nice, and very comfy. The location is wonderful, very isolated and very beautiful. There are miles of river for you to roam. Whether you are fishing, tubing, or just hanging out, it is a great time. There are tons of amazing fishing spots. There is a super nice pool to relax by. It is incredibly accommodating and overall just a wonderful time. I 10/10 would recommend, it's fantastic for the family or a more romantic getaway. There is so much I could say about this campground, good and bad, but the most important part of…read morethis site are the hosts. I've traveled through here on multiple occasions and it has improved exponentially over the years, in large part due to the staff. Recently, on a trip south I had to stop in to get some shut eye and had all my pets with me. Two cats and a dog. The heat was pretty intense so I arrived late and cracked the window for my cats while I slept. One cat, escaped the vehicle in the night and was missing for a month and a half. The hosts were incredible... I was able to post fliers, they kept in contact with me and my pet tracker, and eventually she reappeared and we were reunited. The hosts went above and beyond to help me during this time, and I am so grateful they were receptive to this situation. As for the campground, the only negative things I do have to say would be other campers. It can be loud at times, but that is no fault of the hosts and the site itself. The staff keeps it clean, and the grounds are beautiful. The wildlife here is amazing, the trails are well maintained, and anyone from boat enthusiasts to bird watchers would enjoy the scenery. I will definitely be camping here again. (Most likely next time I wont bring my cats. If I can help it)

Upon arrival, the camp host comes over and greets you personally with a smile and meets you with that same smile every time you cross paths. You are given the code to the restroom both when registering and from the camp host. Watching the camp hosts they both go far beyond their volunteer job position as camp hosts. They were doing landscaping work throughout the day. Seems like bathroom hand-soap is no longer part of the park fee, but they have a container of soap on the counter. As for the bugs, that's just nature at its finest! Feel like a where everyone knows your name kind of place because their friendliness seems to inspire some of the other campers to do the same. Being a solo camper, it was nice to not feel invisible! I would give them a vote to be named best volunteers of the state. They both obviously take pride in their volunteer work! Thank you!!!
