I purchased an EBike a few weeks ago. George served me. Outstanding customer service even after my purchase. I would highly recommend purchasing a bike from Mostly EBikes. Thank you George for taking such good care of me. read more

I rated 1 star due to their inventory. When I was there, they have only high-priced class one in EBikes. Very nice showroom huge number of expensive bicycles, but for me, and all my friends who ride E bikes, one of the most important functions is a twist throttle, particularly when starting from a stop (I.e. a class 2 Ebike). When I questioned him, they said it was because that's what their customers wanted?. I find it unbelievable that there are people who say I do not want a throttle but I want pedal assist read more

My husband and I were in Oceanside preparing to head out for a pleasant bike ride when we discovered my tire was completely flat. Fortunately, we found "Mostly E-bikes" and George was incredibly helpful, changing my tube and tire in time for us to enjoy an afternoon ride. This was our anniversary weekend, so we were especially grateful for George's skill and willingness to help us out. We wish him all the best! - Jane W read more

Excellent customer service and products! I randomly stopped by one Sunday to get the tread on my tire looked at. Was able to get a new tire within 30 minutes at a great price! They even helped adjust my seat so it sat properly (I didn't ask, they just took the initiative to point out that it needed an adjustment). Great selection of accessories too (I bought a bell and a cup holder). I will definitely be back one day. read more

My wife and I were in the market to buy e-bikes. We wandered into this store because my wife was interested in one of the bike brands the store carried. Sure enough, she found the exact bike she was looking for, an iZip Vida. George, the owner, carefully explained the features of the bike and my wife took it for a test ride. Because of George's knowledge and understanding of what my wife wanted, we felt very comfortable. We wound up buying my wife's bike that first day along with a recommended bike rack for our car. The next day I wound up buying a Giselle C385. Everyone working in this store was incredibly helpful with a special shout out to Willie. George wanted to keep the bikes and the carrier for a day or so, he could make sure the bikes were ready to take home and the carrier was assembled. We wound up needing some adjustments on the bikes which George was happy to make for us.made for us. He wanted us to be fully satisfied customers ready to enjoy our new e-bikes. And, they installed the bike carrier giving us careful instructions in using the carrier. I could continue to elaborate on what made our experience so enjoyable but for sake of brevity I will stop. It was a pleasure to work with George and his staff. I highly recommend this store to anyone interested in buying an e-bike. MW read more

We bought our daughter a nice cruiser bike from Mostly E-Bikes. They had a good selection of both traditional and e-bikes. They offered to provide a free adjustment and tuneup of our new bike after a few months of riding, and offer which we will take them up on soon. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, and I highly recommend Mostly E-Bikes. read more

Absolutely love this place. Customer service I superb. Always ready a and willing to help. Just the bet.

We stopped in 5/3/23 while touring Oceanside on our peddle bikes, and bought blinking reflectors. The sales staff very nice, helpful and installed the new reflectors on the bikes for us. Top Notch customer service for such a small purchase, will return for sure. Thank you!! read more

My friends and I rented 7 bikes from them to cruise the coast. I rented an e-bike which I highly recommend! All of the bikes looked brand new and helmets super clean! They check all the bikes before giving them out and gave me a tutorial for my e-bike. I would definitely come back here and suggest to everyone else to rent their bikes from here. read more

George and the rest of the Mostly E-Bikes crew was fantastic! We recently moved to the area and were really excited to get ebikes so we weren't stuck in the car every time we wanted to cruise down to the beach. George was super knowledgeable and consultative. There wasn't any point in our interaction that I felt he was trying to sell us the most expensive bikes. He took time to understand how we want to use the bikes. We test rode 4 different bikes and ultimately chose bikes were really really excited about. Highly recommend this shop. Knowledgeable, professional, friendly and consultative - you can't go wrong! read more

Had the best experience getting service for my bike! I had bought my Electra Townie bike at a different shop, realizing that it had some issues a couple days later. Had taken it in with no resolution and was told that there was nothing else they could do. Today I took it in and Peter and his crew took care of my bike, got it fix when I was told there was nothing else that could be done and Peter got it fixed and found all the issues that I had already mentioned to the other shop In less then 30 min. I highly recommend this shop and will return for future repairs and purchases. Thank you Peter and crew for fixing my Electra bike in no time. Not only where you great to me, but also everyone was awesome and my puppy Logan loved the energy at this shop. read more

Very nice staff and great bikes. Only gave four stars because when my daughter picked up our bikes, she asked for a basket and they just switched out the bike that was reserved for me which ended up being a lot more expensive than previously quoted. They should have informed her of that before she left so it not a surprise when we dropped them off and paid. read more

George and his highly qualified mechanics have been super helpful ever since buying my e-bike over a year ago. His time of repair/maintenance estimates when the bike will be ready is pretty accurate. The shop's location at 203 Wisconsin Ave. Oceanside is solid, as it is in a well trafficked area with plenty of parking if you drive a car to the shop. read more

We received a gift card and used 2 bikes. We had a great experience until we crashed. We were fine but the bikes were damaged. Upon return we were told we might have to pay for repairs. And then the manager came back and said we would not have to pay anything so we could enjoy our experience. read more

Great service at E-bikes. Peter Nagy is the Service Manager and helped us today, giving us very helpful advice followed by quick great service. Their inventory offers you many choices in bikes or accessories. Each time we go in here we walk out looking forward to returning again. It's refreshing to deal with people who know what they are talking about, care about the customer, not trying to sell, you but leading you to what you want or need. We are lucky to have a dealer like this in our area. We highly recommend. read more

George and his crew are simply the best in the biz. Patience and kindness are virtues seen in this bike shop. This is long over due! A group of us purchased e-bikes after lots of research and found the staff and owner to be super friendly and helpful. I love my e-bike and have used it non-stop since we purchased them. The summer flew by and thanks to our e bikes we even created a club and we make it a point to at least once a month get together! What is great about my e bikes is that I still do the work, I'm not just letting the bike do the work. George is amazing and patient and we are constantly sending people his way! Go and get a bike you will not regret it. Best money I have ever spent! It has made going through COVID less painful!! Keep on biking! Antonella read more

I had a great experience purchasing bikes for my husband and I from Mostly E Bikes. George is the owner of the shop and he took a great deal of time with us. First, great people and service. Second, their selection of Gazelle ebikes is unmatched and if you don't know the Gazelle line manufactured in the Netherlands then you are missing a remarkable, high quality line. These guys provided great information and follow up before and after my purchase, Can't say enough about George and his crew. read more

My wife and I purchased two E-Bikes from Mostly E-Bikes about 6 months ago and we are very happy with our purchases. My wife's is the cushy Electra Townie and mine is the Gazelle. We are getting older and our necks and backs can't handle a bent-over riding position very long, so these two bike choices were perfect for us. George took the time to make sure we found the right fit with as many test rides as we needed. They have been GREAT, with excellent service after the sale. And he has some quality and very knowledgeable mechanics in the shop to keep things running smoothly. Before actually buying we looked around a lot and finally settled on these guys because of their great reputation. I had an issue with some annoying noises on mine, but they took care of it quite efficiently. I highly recommend George and his shop if you're thinking about an e-bike. I had thought about ordering online, but there is so much to think about when deciding which bike fits one's needs best. In my opinion, you've GOT to ride them to make sure. They have many high-quality brands available, reasonably priced and all of the accessories you could ever want or need. Love our Mostly E-Bikes! read more

This shop is awesome! My son and I were gettin Ready to cruise the coast when he realized his tire was rubbing the brake arms after we just had it tuned up by someone else. We stopped in to see if we could borrow a wrench and Peter was so very helpful and efficient immediately! We were in and out in 30 min and back on the coast! Thanks again Peter!!! read more

Really good people working over there, these guys are cool and genuine. They built my e bike super quickly too and showed me how to take care of it. Thank you! read more

Post-Covid I wanted to get my fat_*ss back on a bike. A once avid rider, I was overweight and out of shape. Seeing e-bikes "everywhere", I did some research and discovered I knew just enough to be dangerous. Driving back from the beach one day, I passed Mostly E-Bikes. A few days later I stopped in. George, the owner, spent a lot of time with me, understanding what I wanted, then explained which bikes and what reasons I might want to consider. The market is flooded with junk ebikes. They are cheap, and in my view, dangerous. You will not find any of these here. Everything they sell is high-quality, and George can explain why that matters, both for performance and safety. Now, four months in, I LOVE the Diamondback ebike I purchased. Very satisfied customer. read more

I had a great experience getting my gravel bike serviced at Mostly Ebikes. I would recommend this shop to anyone with a manual bike for service. They were friendly, honest and quality for very fair pricing. I ventured up from Del Mar to escape the bike shop madness down in San Diego right now and will happily travel to Oceanside from now on for continued service. read more

I was in Oceanside for my birthday and brought my bike, but after a long ride the first day I got a flat! Pushing my bike home from the beach I saw this shop and brought it in. George was supernice, checked out my bike and promised overnight service. Next morning I got a call from Stefan, who said it was ready but recommended a tune-up. Since I wasn't in a hurry I took him up on it. The bike was ready as promised that same day, and riding better than ever. When I came in to pick it up, George even remembered to wish me happy birthday! Can't recommend these guys enough, both for their timely, professional and reasonably priced service and their friendly, relaxed vibe. read more

We just bought 2 Townie e-bikes from George. We were going to buy bikes on line, but we're glad we went in to this LBS to test out the bikes and get follow up services. George was really patient when we test rode multiple bikes - several times - so that we were sure we had the right ones, and he's been great about making adjustments after a few rides. He's knowledgeable and amiable, the real deal, with a good selection of e-bikes (and some regular bikes) plus accessories and service available. You'll feel good about supporting his business, located just down the street from the Oceanside train station. read more

My in laws both have electric bikes purchased from George at Mostly E- Bikes and they've been incredibly happy. I've been riding for a while but not a lot lately and with 2 small children it's hard to do any kind of riding other tha trips to the beach. Even that was getting tough lugging kids and stuff on beach cruisers so when my wife's birthday was coming up and she kept asking about e-bikes I decided to pay George a visit. I was not disappointed. Clean, professional and friendly shop with TONS of great bikes to choose from in a variety of price-points. Since we're new to the e-bike game and on a budget, I decided to buy one of George's rental bikes, a Gazelle Medeo T9 with only 51 miles on it!!! Bike is practically brand new (their rentals are INCREDIBLY well maintained) and because it was a rental George gave me a sweet deal. My wife loves the bike, we jus tbought a trailer to haul the kids in, and I couldn't have been happier with my experience at Mostly E-Bikes. I'm now patiently waiting for the right time to go back to George and get one for myself! read more

Mostly E-Bikes - Bike Repair/Maintenance Near Me - Oceanside, California

Can't say enough good things about this shop - I've gone in twice now, once for a flat on my cruiser and to pick their brains about road bike recommendations, and a second time today with my road bike. Unfortunately, the shop I actually purchased my bike from left me high and dry after taking my money, and I was a bit nervous going into Mostly E-Bikes because I didn't buy from them. I could not have asked for better customer service from Stephane, who both times has been an absolute pro. Admittedly, I'm about as novice as it gets, and it can be intimidating to ask a bunch of silly questions to guys who clearly know everything there is about cycling, and not once did they make me feel dumb. Within minutes, Stephane was able to assess that my saddle was too low, stem too short and offered to set me up for a fitting service while recommending some products as well. I will absolutely be a customer here for everything I need cycling wise, and I'll recommend these guys to everyone I come across. Even with them being as busy as they are, they're super friendly, helpful, and you can tell they genuinely love what they do. I cannot recommend this place enough for anyone interested in purchasing a new bike or needing work done - amazing shop! read more
