Chain restaurants can be hit or miss, so I was pleasantly surprised with the quick service, cleanliness, and delicious food at Mo's. I ordered the Crispy Fried Shrimp entree which came with a cup of clam chowder and fries. The side of cocktail sauce complemented the shrimp perfectly, and the fries were piping hot and crispy as well. To top it off, the restaurant offers gorgeous views of the Columbia River. Be sure to stop by Mo's if you're in the area!

Views were great. Service was very nice and knowledgeable. Chowder was good, not the best I've had but good. I wish it had more "chunks". The only real thing I could tell were the potatoes. Bread was dry. With the chowder, it was good! But not great by itself. Mario berry cobbler was great! The pastry on top was great. Just wish there was more

Saw multiple sea lions frolicking just below us out the window! Incomparable views at this place. Starting to be a road trip tradition for us. Perfect spot to take a family. Not the least bit pretentious. Service was fantastic. Genuine, down to earth people.

Now I have been to ALL the MO's restaurants. A beautiful site to relax, have lunch and watch the ships go by. A tad windy today so we got a window seat inside and didn't miss a thing! Abby was our server, had a very pleasant experience with her. The beer was cold, clam strips good, cod platter good as was the bouillabaisse special. The Marion Berry cobbler/vanilla ice cream was to die for. Have a great selection of souvenirs to choose from.

    Yummy to go food!

This place is really cute from the moment you walk in. The ambiance is perfect! The service was great, they were super friendly. The food to me was alright. The clam chowder was good. I did get the fish tacos and those were good. I do wish they had more seafood options though or if the menu had more to offer.

I have been going to Moe's since I was a kid and now I'm bringing my kid. Growing up we always went to the SIletz bay location but now as an adult we frequent the Astoria location. The food is always consistent. The service is usually on point and the atmosphere is what you would want. There is a pretty view almost anywhere you sit. I am very nostalgic for Moe's, it never disappoints us. I believe Moe's to be falling into a new food trend specifically in the Northwest, where it has became underrated as a great place, because so many people say its overrated. It's not. Its a great classic seafood restaurant. Great chowder, great fish and shrimp. Our family loves the grilled cheese. Highly reccomend getting that and dumping it in some chowder.

We had a really good dinner here. While not as good of chowder as what they had years ago, it was still good. We had really good service and were able to sit outside on the water. This place has great views!

Food was ok. We were kinda not in the mood for seafood that day so my daughter and I ordered chicken sandwiches and they were definitely chicken strips from their kids menu that is repurposed for the sandwich. It tasted fine. The fish tacos looked really good, I think I would get that if I came back. Service was good but food was slow, it took a while. Restaurant reminds me of Joe's Crab Shack.

Best clamp chowder ever! No seriously. The rest of the food was good and the view of the Columbia is great. Beet is cold and the service was speedy and friendly. See our YouTube channel Coolest Life.

I had originally wanted the Mexican restaurant that was nearby, but somehow ended up in the parking lot for Mo's - it was cold and rainy and what else is more perfect on a day like that than fish and chips? Inside, I discovered something I was unaware of that I needed in my life - a banana slug plush! I was seated rather promptly with a great view of the water! The waiter I had was attentive, and prompt. Not a long wait at all. There was a lovely couple seated at the table next to me and I had a lovely chat with them. I had the fish and chips and they were so delicious! I'd highly reccomend Mo's!

Stopped in for afternoon bay shrimp cocktail. Delicious. Everyone was very friendly. Great view of the Columbia River in a diner environment. They've added many gluten free items to their menu!

Our family has been Mo's customers for several generations. I'm a simple chowder and homemade bread person, and location to location the consistency of the food is tremendous. Quiet night at the Astoria location on a Wednesday in Mid-November an hour before close. Was well taken care of by the staff. And an amazing view, even in the evening.

This Mo's was new to us but as always the view was amazing as was the food!!

Without a single clue what to do in Astoria (first time visitors), we parked for $10 in the Port of Astoria lot on the west side of town. It was a warm day, and we were hungry, so we took to Marine Drive to look for breakfast and this was the first place we saw. It says they serve it all day. I don't think they have their own lot but street parking doesn't seem to be a premium here. Later on, we discovered that this place also made the vet staff's recommended list which was a happy coincidence. It says on the door that they don't have public restrooms, which they don't, but they do have a men's and women's restroom for customers. Nice ambiance with the nautical theme and some slot machines (is gambling legal in Astoria?). I particularly liked the piece they took from a real ship called Raven and perched a fake raven on it on the wall. Makes the little goth in my heart happy. You order at the bar and the lady who took it wasn't the friendliest. P told me in retrospect that service was slow and she had a bit of an attitude when I asked him whether this place warranted a 4 or 5. I guess she did, but all I noticed was how good the food was! The workers breakfast for $14 is outstanding! The sausage patty is luscious with a nice bite of heat. They make your eggs perfectly and they cook their potatoes skin on in a skillet that leaves the edges with a nice crisp flavorful crust. You need the toast (we both ordered dry wheat) to mop up the egg and eat with the sausage to fill you up. Honestly, haven't had a breakfast where every single element of it was all of great quality. Plus, it's an almost perfect portion of food. I know I want to go back if I can just convince P to ignore the attitude. Another cool local hangout. There was a jolly bunch of older men drinking, laughing and chatting that provided an awesome soundtrack to our visit.

We had managed to eat seafood at every meal and when I saw that T Paul's Supper Club had a Louie salad on the menu (I'm a sucker for a good Louie) we were in! I'm not totally sure of the vibe they're going for and, to be fair I've only been inside one supper club and it was in Las Vegas, so maybe not a fair comparison. We accidentally walked into the bar section, which seemed like a tiki bar. We were sat in the restaurant, which was decorated with an amateurish mish mosh of seemingly random items. I didn't see a stage, but maybe there was a place for a performer. We were there for lunch. The many is extensive, but also don't seem special. Lots of tiki type drinks and many menu items you'd expect. We ordered the calamari to share, on the recommendation of the server. It was pretty good. We also ordered the Louie Louie to share, which actually isn't on the lunch menu but they kindly agreed to make it for us. I should have been alerted when the server asked what kind of dressing we wanted. She listed several, not including thousand island. I responded, "I think a Louie traditionally has thousand island, do you have that?" She did. The salad had many of the elements, most importantly a good sized amount of lump crab meat. That part was good! The other elements were meh. I would have liked avocado. And I think if you're doing a $30 Louie, you need a special dressing. There were maybe 8 bacon bits. Just not a flavorful Louie. Maybe they do other things well, but I won't be back.

Ambience - small tavern with seaside vibe with both indoor bar and table seating as well as some limited outdoor table seating. As a party of one, I elected to sit indoors at the end of the bar. Seemed like the sole bartender was the sole waitress as well...but she was very attentive nonetheless equally dividing her attention to a full house of customers! There appeared to be 1-2 short order cooks in the back...so small crew to handle the lunch crowd. Food - clam chowder, fish and chips, and a cider...a reoccurring meal of mine when traveling through the PNW and kinda how I like to judge one place from another. Thick NE-style clam chowder loaded with clams! Solid contender and some of the better chowder I've had as of late. The F&Cs were 3, 2-3oz sized halibut pieces fried golden brown with a huge side of string fries...also very crispy! With some lemon and malt vinegar on the fish and a refreshing cider on tap, it all went down quite well...yum! Price was reasonable, although maybe a little pricy given this was the industrial side of the riverwalk. Nonetheless, the food/drink, service, and ambience were all good! Felt his was more of a local hangout for those working at the marina as compared to, say... Astoria Brewing... a definite touristy alternative that's larger, busier, and smack dab on the riverwalk. Both are solid places offering different vibes. Definitely will be back here as well! Cheers!
