Average diner. Asked for fresh squeezed orange juice because the waitress confirmed it was fresh squeezed, it was not it was definitely tropicana. The food tasted as though it was missing something. The coffee cakes upon being seated were a nice touch. Overall not a bad place for breakfast, but not the best. read more

For a very busy restaurant on a Sunday for brunch it moves pretty fast. However once you're seated and you've ordered, it takes longer for the food to come out. So they give you complimentary coffee cake. While that's great , it just kills your appetite by the time your actual food comes out. The food itself was ok. We had our FIRST dine in experience at Mo's Egg House during Covid 19. It was truly amazing to be served again after months of cooking and washing dishes. We had Country fried steak, Berry French Toast and Egg Benedict. They were all very good. They also offered us free coffee cake. Everything tasted freshly prepared. Service was awesome! I seriously overate later had heartburn. lol.... If you're heading to Temecula, Mo's Egg House is a must visit. I would definitely come back here. The banana nut pancakes were very good, but the additional eggs & sausage didn't really do it for me. I think I would order an omelette next time. My gf ordered the potato pancakes but they looked a little extra crispy and she said the taste was a bit bland (she didn't finish them). I like that they offered cold brew with free refills... that was a highlight for me. I'd recommend giving this place a try and check out photos on here before ordering. Great little diner in Temecula. Great food, great service. I was completely impressed at how busy it was on a Wednesday morning, then I tried their food, now I know why they were that busy. The food was very good. We arrived at around 9:00 am and it was not crowded. Prices are not to bad average between $12- 15. This place is AMAZING. While waiting for your food, they give a complimentary coffee cake and that coffee cake was phenomenal. It was warm, moist and had the perfect crunch on it. I ordered the seafood omelette and that too was delicious. Inside the omelette was big chunks of crab/lobster, tomatoes, and spinach. There was a perfect ratio of seafood and veggies. Unlike some omelettes I've had before, this omelette was STUFFED. We also got the banana nut pancake that we shared within our table and the Carmel with nuts was the perfect topping. This is the last restaurant my family dined at before they started banning people to eat inside restaurants because of COVID19. Little did I know the ban was about to come. I loved that a huge pot of assorted coffee creamer is at your table. The coffee is really good too. You can take it to go in either a large or small cup. I opted for a large cup and I was surprised on how huge the cup was. We had the complimentary coffee cake. It was ok but perfect timing as I was starving. Talk about calories! Yikes. It's smothered in icing. The cake itself was somewhat moist. But none the less we appreciated the cake provided! My meal tasted really good. I had eggs they were cooked perfectly. The streak was on the small side. I think it could've been much bigger or at least that's what I expected. The biscuit was huge but dry. It came with a small dish of gravy. Oh that gravy!! It was finger licking good. That gravy was meaty and thick and full of goodness!! Some other side notes, the fries are super good. Risky and large fries with ketsup and your ready to dive in. This place is a cute little diner. We only waited 10 minutes to get seated on a Sunday morning which is pretty good. We had a friendly server who checked in regularly and always had our coffee/water topped off. We were given complimentary coffee cake which was so yummy when you dipped it in glaze/coffee but alone was a tad dry. I got the California eggs Benedict which was okay. The eggs were cooked well and there was a generous portion of avocado. However the hollandaise was bland. My partner got the wise guy. It was a good portion and packed with fillings but he felt it was good not great. It was certainly a yummy meal with great service but maybe not as high quality. Stopped by at 10:30AM on a Friday, place was packed but since there were only two of us got seated quickly. Place was a little loud and appears to have been remodeled recently, ambience was casual and relaxed. Wait staff was great, attentive, and efficient. You can tell they were experienced as the kitchen was churning out orders and they were getting them to tables quickly while also making sure everyone had drinks full and taken care of. Our food took a little time to get out however I was pleasantly surprised when they served a small slice of hot cake for each guest who were waiting on their food. I didn't see the cake on my bill, so that was a nice touch. My wife had a California omelet which she enjoyed. I had chicken and waffles. Waffle was good, chicken was OK, not Roscoe's but wasn't expecting it to be. Pieces were rather small, but they made it up by adding an extra drum stick. Overall value was good. We will certainly be back and highly recommend Mo's. read more

Mo's is pretty solid as far as greasy spoons go. Very busy despite being a farily large place, so do the waitlist on Yelp to save yourself the wait. We did that, and only waited four minutes for our table. The menu is abslutely huge, but go for the first item on the list: Chicken Fried Steak, done as it should be. Nice and crispy, with a peppery gravy that isn't too thick. I really enjoyed this, and the portions are over the top heart attack huge, so you might want to consider paying the $3.50 and splitting this. It comes with a choice of potatoes, one being the "nest", a heaping pile of crispy fried potato strings. Nice. The over easy eggs were perfectly cooked, and the sourdough toast was hearty and nicely toasted, not that wonder bread fake sourdough. My wife opted for the corned beef hash, another good choice. It was mashed down flat and crispy, almost to the point of being overly crispy, which is exactly how I like it. Another in our party had the fried catfish breakfast, and really enjoyed that. He subbed fresh fruit for the potatoes, and the fruit cup was generous and varied. This place is better than any diner of its type that I have been to in a very long time. I look forward to returning, next time I find myself in Temecula needing breakfast. read more

Breakfast here is usually really good but the cinnamon roll French toast was dry and not great (I wouldn't get it again). Belgian waffle also didn't taste great and came with melted butter while my son's came with whipped butter (I'd prefer whipped and why would they have two different types of butter). No salt or regular sugar at our table. Came in on a Tuesday morning and it smelled like sewage inside... had to sit outside. Place is just dirty and gross and needs a fresh coat of paint and some new decor. read more

My brother recommended this place and raved about portion sizes and quality so my expectations were very high. It was a Saturday morning and raining. The places was PACKED AND RIDICULOUSLY LOUD. Patrons waiting to be called were allowed to stand inside blocking the walkway and making it uncomfortable if you found a seat to wait in. (Who wants someone's butt in your face) Also seemed like a capacity violation. After a 25 minute wait we were seated at a table for four, and they added a chair to fit five. I ordered eggs, bacon and hashbrowns, my son ordered the breakfast burrito and my mother ordered the apricot crepes. The crepes were disappointing as the apricot was a preserve and not the best quality. The other items were good, but nothing spectacular. They serve a piece of microwaved coffee cake while you wait but ours was late so I only had a few bites. The entire bill was just under $85. Three stars was given because of the lack of standing crowd control inside. Recommendation to management, get outside heaters for cold weather. read more

The eggs were perfectly cooked and the sausage was nice and hot. The Hawaiian French toast was fantastic!! Perfectly crunchy and very tasty. Cold food made with canned sauce. The service was terrible and our waitress never came to check and make sure everything was ok and she never came to offer more coffee or waters. I normally enjoy this place, but it looks as though the quality of food and service is lacking to say the least. Two meals brought out and waited 15 more minutes for the other 2 meals on top of the 45 minutes that we had already waited. Since the food was served cold, I can only imagine that it was sitting and waiting for a while before being brought to the e table. Very saddening.
