We picked Rochester Colonial and are very happy that we did. The windows replaced older worn-out casement windows, the new windows are very energy efficient, made from durable materials and are a joy to operate. The installation process went very smoothly. The installers, all employees of Rochester Colonial not contractors, were highly skilled and very pleasant to work with. They left the windows spotless and the work areas were very clean. Both during the install process and afterwards. I would also like to mention that the salesman we worked with, Doug Decker, was very helpful is ensuring that we had exactly the right product and was very careful to make sure all of the details of the order were correct. We were so happy with the windows and Rochester Colonial that we went back and ordered a replacement front door. Once again the install was very smooth with a quality product. I highly recommend Rochester Colonial and their employees.

The 3 installers (Jake, Jonah and Chad) did an awesome job installing! They prepared the area so as not to have dust and debris extend beyond the kitchen area. After installation was complete, the area inside the new windows was steeped and vacuumed. I was shown how the windows operate and the film on the windows was removed and the windows were carefully cleaned. All the old window material was hauled away. Great job!

Don't ever work for Isiah Bingham or his dad or that lumber yard they suck! After 10 months of all the overtime I worked in extra work I put in when no one else did And I couldn't even get a single dollar raise or even over any sick days or vacation. If there ever was a company that operated not by the books it's them. I swear I don't even think they have a book to go by. Either that or they lie on all their paperwork. And they should be safety audited. I got injured pretty much everyday because of unsafe working conditions and poor training. They treat their employees like crap and the other employees treat each other like crap and swear and yell and are completely unprofessional. I worked hard. Meanwhile, the lead on the truss table is always on his phone gets to take however many paid days off He wants and takes as long of breaks as he wants without any repercussions. We've not had a good experience since 1 year after the fence was installed. I have been remiss in posting a review about this place. About 8 months ago, I remodeled my kitchen…read moreand needed a large amount of new countertops. I wanted quartz, and if you know anything about quartz, you know it can get pricey quick. I shopped around to almost every store in town that was Google-able. I went to a giant warehouse near downtown where you can look at huge slabs up close and in person and, of course, found a really expensive stone that I just loved. I took this picture to many people to see who could obtain it. Imperial could. And cheaper than others. But what really gives them 5 stars is that the owner (husband and wife team) told me she could get a really similar stone for even less. I was wary to buy something I hadn't seen so she made some calls and had the supplier bring a giant slab to her store just for me-- at no obligation! Their storeroom isn't impressive but they do have many large slabs in the back, as well as some remnants you can look through for smaller things such as vanities. And when I saw the new, and cheaper, stone I was very excited. It was almost exactly the same but would save me hundreds, if not thousands of dollars (I cannot remember the exact savings). Since we were behind on our kitchen renovation, I was worried about getting the countertops measured in case something changed. The husband came to measure and was very easy going about the whole process and reassured me small changes we were considering wouldn't be an issue. The installation went well; their installers were very polite and worked quickly. There were a few minor issues that they came back and resolved quickly. Now, the countertops are still gorgeous and there have been no issues. Included with my purchase was a free stainless steel, undermount, very deep and wide single sink. I had originally planned on buying one elsewhere so that saved me another few hundred dollars. I was a bit worried though as I'd read reviews online about some sinks scratching easily but this one does not. And the installers showed me a trick: if it does get a minor scratch, use some steel wool and gently rub it away! When I need stone for my bathroom countertop, I will definitely be calling on them!

Bryan was easy to work with over the phone and even accommodated us when we needed to reschedule due to a family situation. Bryan and Jeff were on time, friendly, respectful, and did an amazing job on our kitchen, front foyer and back hallway. The before and after pictures truly tell the story. There was some dust, but not a lot. They did put up plastic sheets to minimize dust in the other areas. We did spend about 30 min vacuuming and dusting before we put everything back together and that really was not a big deal. These reviews seem to be a few years back. We have had our quartzite natural stone (not quartz…read morewhich is basically reglued rock dust!) countertops for over a year (installed circa summer of 2023). Initially there was excitement. Quartzite is extremely dense and hard to work with, much more than mere granite. It takes many times longer to cut quartzite. The original cutting cracked on the machine. (We did get a lovely souvenir piece of it). To our surprise without asking, Solid Surfaces then cut the replacement in one big piece rather than two as usually done, which left no seams in the large L-shaped piece. It took a crew of five to haul in and place the main piece plus an island and two other pieces. Taj Mahal quartzite has an elegance that we admire every day. Best choice ever which we use everyday (although we do baby it to keep up the original appearance, cleaning up to not let anything stand on it for long).

The Rochester Colonial team was highly skilled, professional, and incredibly respectful of my home.
