The food, service and ambiance were wonderful. Best meal we have had in all the times we've come to New Orleans. The food was flavorful and the presentation was artistic . The ambiance and decor I would describe as understated elegance. We were treated like celebrities. Staff were warm and friendly and welcoming. Can't wait to go there again on our next trip to New Orleans! Great find!

Morrow's was absolutely phenomenal. Everyone at the table was blown away by their dish. We started with the chargrilled oysters and they were delicious, such a perfect way to kick things off. My entrée completely stole the show. I ordered the crawfish pasta topped with fried fish and wow... it was incredible. So flavorful, rich, and perfectly cooked. Every bite was better than the last. This place is a must when you're in New Orleans. Service was great. Make a reservation! Very cozy and great for a group or a date. I already can't wait to come back.

Good was great as always. Garlic potatoes could be more creamy. Other than that spectacular!! Drinks on point!!

I absolutely loved my experience at Morrow's! I sat at the bar, and from start to finish, the vibes were everything. The staff were so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely delightful, it made the experience even better. I ordered their special charbroiled oysters, and wow... I was beyond impressed. They were perfectly cooked, flavorful, and indulgent. I paired them with a rosé wine, which complemented the oysters beautifully, such a perfect pairing. I also ordered the shrimp po' boy, which was incredibly well made and packed with flavor. The only tiny note is that the bun was just a bit small to hold everything together, but honestly, it didn't take away from how delicious it was at all, still a solid 10/10. Overall, I enjoyed my meal so much and will definitely be back the next time I'm in NOLA. Amazing food, great energy, and top-tier vibes. Highly recommend!

Food: I've been to New Orleans many times and I've never had a bad meal! Well not until today, 12/10/25! My husband and I were hungry and ready for a good meal! We ordered gumbo, charbroiled oysters, the catfish platter, and collard greens! The $14 bowl of gumbo, was watery and had very little rice and hardly any meat! The catfish was greasy and flavorless. Absolutely no seasoning! The catfish was the large catfish that shouldn't be used to fry, it's oily! Last but not least, these were the worst charbroiled oysters I've ever had! They were literally BURNED!!! Do not waste your time! We spent $109 on garbage!!! Service: our waitress was friendly and helpful! Ambiance: The inside and outside of the Resturant was decorated nicely..

Lord have mercy y'all the crawfish bread was so delicious that my mouth is still watering for some more two weeks later. I will be coming back just for that alone. And those Morrows oysters with that stuffed crab concoction on top oh yeah definitely top-tier! And the lovely lady at the bar. I wish I could remember her name, but she was an excellent bartender and super cool. They make really great cocktails. I have the espresso martini and it was perfect. I highly suggest making reservations if you want to sit outside on the upstairs patio it seems like a cool little vibe up there during great weather.

We didn't have reservations and it was a nice wait but we were able to sit at the bar. There were two bartenders and they were pretty busy to the point it took her close to 10 minutes to greet us even once seeing us sitting there. Wasn't a fan of that. The food took a while to come out and when it did it wasnt steaming hot. It was good but not super fresh for whatever reason. The shrimp were just okay to me flavor wise.

We were delivered here (story for another day) & MAN was it worth the wait! I had the catfish platter & fries, well prepared & super tasty! My bride had Morrows Chicken, all dark, with greens & baked macaroni. O M G she said the chicken was very good. I got to try her greens & macaroni, both were some of the best I've had, anywhere!! The atmosphere was fantastic, nicely lit, yet dim enough for a romantic Valentine's Day dinner! The service from the front door, bar, & servers was simple amazing!!

Food is very delicious. It has some of the best gumbo that tastes close to my grannies. The food is delicious and consistent. Ambiance is casual. It's usually too cold and the music is too loud. However the music playlist is really good. Service I would give a 3/5. Still, I would go over and over again for the flavorful food!

One of my Nola faves! The food is always amazing and the vibes are on point. Food had bit of a wait and the managerial service could have been better after we expressed dissatisfaction in our lamb chop taste. It was a bit too charred. The oysters were a hit per usual and the sides were really delicious!

We enjoyed our dining experience here! Red beans and rice with fried chicken: 8/10 for the red beans and rice. I felt it lacked flavor. The rice seemed like 10 min bag rice instead of 30min rice. The fried chicken was really good! Flavorful! 10/10 The oysters others shell were good! I was told they were out of horseradish, which wasn't a problem for me, however if you have oysters on the menu, you should have an abundance of horseradish! 9/10 Collards: good! Lots of flavor, good size serving too! 10/10 Yams: omg these yams seemed like I was eating a sweet potato pie!!! Sooooooo goood!!! 10/10 Service was great from the time we entered, until the time we left! We opted to dine upstairs as we felt it was more intimate! Would definitely return!

Say mayne....i was so excited to try this place because of the pictures on DoorDash and something told me not to waste $30 on this plate but I had to be hardheaded. The greens had the perfect flavor but the salt!!! My gawd!! It instantly sent my pressure through the roof! And the chicken would've been perfect but it too was extremely salty!! The baked Mac was perfect tho. I would give them 5 stars but I can't even eat this shit because it's so salty, and you can't fix thatI'm very disappointed. If I was in the restaurant I could send it back; but it was delivered unfortunately. I came from Austin Texas to try this place.

    RED BEANS & RICE

Disclaimer: I'm not a seafood eater so my options were limited, otherwise I probably would've given 5 stars. Walked in late on a Friday evening and was able to be seated at the bar - otherwise we wouldn't have been able to be seated before closing. Definitely make reservations if you can! I had the red beans and rice with a substitution of fried chicken. Both were really good! I also had the Mac and cheese as a side which was just okay to me. I'm pretty sure I would've gone a different route for my meal if there were other options. Hubby had the seafood sampler and said it was good. The bar staff was nice but the service was a little slow - not surprising on a Friday evening. The places was packed! I'd want to come back for brunch one of these days.

Does Morrow use Louisiana seafood, including Louisiana crawfish in their dishes?

The catfish, crawfish, and shrimp says Louisiana/Gulf on the menu. Only thing I would ask if you are in person about is the Salmon. Hope this helps!

    Street parking only

I'm in town this weekend. Is brunch Served?

    Yes it is

    Do they do reservations?

    No.

Do you have outdoor seating? Space heaters?

I didn't see any outdoor seating for dining nor any space heaters. They do have benches out for waiting.

    Are they open for lunch?

Yes. They also have Sunday brunch and happy hour from M-F 4-7pm M-Th 11am-10pm Friday/Sat: 11am-11pm… Read more

Cochon was…read moreexactly the kind of place you hope to stumble into -- unhurried, unpretentious, and deeply rooted in what Louisiana cooking is actually supposed to taste like. We came in fresh off landing without a plan and put ourselves in Robbie's hands. That turned out to be a great decision. He read the table well -- steered us toward two appetizers that were complete opposites in texture and flavor, and both landed. The fried alligator was a surprise: tender, lightly crispy, nothing gimmicky about it. The oysters in garlic butter were rich without being heavy, the kind of thing you want to drag bread through until it's gone. Between the two, we had a pretty good idea of what this kitchen was capable of. For mains, we went with the Louisiana cochon and the gulf fish catch of the day. The cochon -- slow-roasted pork, the dish the restaurant is literally named for -- was exactly what it should be: deeply savory, falling apart, served simply so the quality of the meat does the talking. The gulf fish was the lighter counterpoint, fresh and clean. Between the two plates, we hit every part of the flavor spectrum. The space itself is set inside a renovated warehouse in the Central Business District, with exposed brick and wood-paneled walls -- it feels lived-in rather than designed. The kind of room where you want to slow down and stay for another drink. Best for couples, food-curious travelers, or anyone who wants their first New Orleans meal to actually feel like New Orleans. Let your server guide you, order more than you think you need, and don't rush out.

It's so fun to watch the food come out and chat with the team if they're not too busy. Everything on the menu looks great but I decided to go with the daily specials. The arugula salad was exactly what I needed after a long flight and it was very fresh. Absolutely zero wilted leaves on my plate. Not sure what the dressing was but it balanced with the natural bitterness arugula has and I loved the pecans on top. Do not sleep on the pan seared drum if it's offered as a special! It was absolutely delicious and the vegetables were well dressed. The chocolate crème caramel was also an excellent dessert! It looks like a flan but was more like a thick mousse.
