The cancelled 29 min before the schedule install. When I called to reschedule or speak to someone, it was as if I was bothering them. Likely a big national group using inexperienced and unreliable local companies that will only work you in around their "real" customers. I recommend sticking with BestBuy or another local company you know and trust.

These guys went ABOVE & BEYOND…read more I'll be honest, I went into the store as a skeptic, as I'm a long-time Mac user and it has been my experience that most 'generic' PC repair stores can only do minimum Mac repairs or would prefer not to deal with them at all. BOY, was I surprised! I took in my old 2009 Macbook Pro for a plethora of issues -- none critical, just things that I'd been putting up with for WAY too long. (It's not my primary computer, but I do use it for non-essential tasks, such as blog writing and burning vinyl LPs to cd, etc.) The issues it had included a cracked screen, a dead SuperDrive, blown speakers, and a cracked keyboard key. I expected they might able to address one or two of the problems, if that. Not only were they able to resolve ALL of the issues, but were able to do so at a very reasonable price (they happened to have used parts on-hand) with a very short turnaround (I believe it was only a day.) They are now my "go-to" computer store, and I will be dropping off my THIRD repair request to them later this week. So, in summing -- go by and see Perry & Mitchell at PC & P.I.* Computers in East Brainerd. * Their name sounds for "Personal Computer Private Investigators" btw . . .

I was about to make a TERRIBLE mistake and have to take two days of PTO by taking my laptop into Cleveland to "IT Computer and Phone Repair" as they could not get to my computer until the next day. Something didn't sit right with me with their reviews as well. They seemed to be done by the owner, and the only honest ones were not good. I decided to do one more quick search on Yelp and that's when I found Paul. While I was on the phone explaining the issue, he asked me to text him my name and address; which at first I found odd, until he told me he was on the way to my house right then to get me back up and running! That's right, within one hour of calling Paul he showed up at my door with his tools to get my computer all tuned up and working again. He also knows his stuff too; this is clearly his career as I bounced a few questions off of him that he was able to explain with such depth and aptitude that it was clear to me he has passion and knowledge for tech - skills one does not simply just get by watching YouTube videos. The professionalism Paul exuded made me feel comfortable with him immediately in my home. He was able to diagnose the issue and fix it within 30 minutes, not days like the other guys. On top of that, he went ahead and cleaned up my laptop for me as I process a lot of data; and he did it all for an amazing value. In fact, I was in shock with how affordable Paul was, especially considering he drove to me the day of. Now, my computer is running better than ever, I didn't have to miss work and take PTO, and I didn't make the mistake of being honeypotted into a shop that would have had my computer for days.
