George is the MAN! He charges a flat hourly rate (one hour minimum). The rate is very reasonable especially when compared to other rates quoted in the Chattanooga area.
-I called the number he provided and he answered immediately.
-He listened attentively to my issue and assured me it would take no time to fix.
-He came to my house after work a day and a half after my initial call (he works full time during the day so is probably only available nights and weekends- I didn't ask about emergencies).
-As promised he fixed the problem within minutes (and he didn't laugh at me). I should note that I spent about 2 hours prior to calling George with tech support from my anti-virus software provider and my Internet Service Provider and neither were able to help me).
-I had a list of random problems prepared to make good use of the hour. He stayed a little past the hour (and only charged me for one hour), solved all of the issues and my system is working a lot more efficiently.
One thing- he does not use a Blackberry and did not seem to know all that much about them. He was honest about that which scores points in my book, but I don't know if he is your best resource for BB's.
He has a very easy going personality. He listens to your concerns without cutting you off. I felt comfortable with him in my home and felt that he was very competent in resolving my issues.
I will certainly call him if I need anything in the future and would refer him to anyone with an IT issue.
