I first went to Daniel for help in October 2025. I had an 10 year old Alienware gaming computer…read morethat desperately needed new hardware upgrades because they were extremely outdated. I was on a budget and he found the best parts in the right price range for me. I didn't have all of the money upfront and it took from October to February for me to be able to give him all of the money for parts and labor but he was very understanding and generous with his time. When the prices on parts went up significantly due to market changes, he let me know so that I could quickly get him the money so that I didn't have to pay so much. He consistently went out of his way to make sure I didn't pay more than what was needed, even though it made no difference to him on that front. In the end, the old gaming computer I had wasn't compatible with what parts I needed, but he improvised and made me a new rig with the same parts at no extra cost to me. I just recently got to take it home and it works great! He was available anytime and was very helpful in explaining the details to me when I didn't understand the technical terms. I couldn't recommend him more and I will be going back in the future for any more work I need done. He run his business from his home and occasionally, he had a friend or 2 over and they were all very nice/welcoming and everyone made conversation with me. It was always a comfortable, laid-back environment.

In Silicon Valley, you can't throw a rock without hitting some form of consumer electronics store and we have a plethora of sources for computer parts. Ended up needing some unanticipated cables and miscellaneous parts in a pinch, called them and even though it was after closing time, they were still there, agreed to wait ~20 minutes for our arrival (nearly an hour after their closing time) and took great care of us. Saved a ~1.5 hour round trip to the nearest big box CE store and prices were significantly lower (one of the cables we needed was 1/2 the price). Seems to be a mom and pop, the woman on the phone struggled a bit with English, which wasn't confidence inspiring before we got there, but everything worked out great, so just be patient with her on the phone if needed.

First called the place to see if they sold magic cards in bulk as in go threw it yourself pick out…read morex cards for x price, was told over the phone that they didn't sell bulk in larger quantities but they did a bag deal which was fill a small bag for 4 dollars they said it would be about 100 cards. Basically came to .04 per card not a bad deal. So we drove an hour and arrived. First impression of the store was nice huge variety of tcgs collectibles etc. spoke with the same gentleman again that I spoke with over the phone asked again about the 1000 count bulk box and how much it would be, went to talk to his boss and came back and said it would be 50$ I immediately said no, while it may have come out to be .05 per card I knew from previous experience with my hometown card shop that was double the price, so I decided we would just do a few bags and call it. So we sat for an hour went through a couple of boxes and made a selection close to 200 ish cards went to go put them in the bag and quickly realized there was no way in heck 100 cards would fit in this bag barely 40 cards fit without bending this meant the per card price was .10 per card nearly triple the original price I was told over the phone. At this point I returned the cards and left the shop. And will not be returning. The only saving grace was the last gentleman I spoke with who was willing to negotiate on the price of the stack of 100 I had already brought to him but after nearly an hour of sorting and collecting, I had enough, customers had zero sense of boundaries was bumped several times in the head by a guy with a back pack while I was going threw the bulk. Then he proceeded to push his chair all the way against mine even after I scooted in closer to the table. So will not be going back due to prices and customer related issues.
