Love the variety of pies available in the cooler - it's one of the main reasons we visit this…read morelocation. yes, the apples are great - but the pies, especially the french silk pie are amazing. They have great donuts for sale as well. This is much more than an orchard...they have a TON of lego sets for sale. Warning for parents who bring the kids into the store....lots and lots of toys and fun things the kids WILL want something. LOL Outside there is an area for kids to play for a reasonable price - a lot of inflatable playground type things. Staff is present and helpful as needed. Place is very neatly organized, and clean and labeled with prices etc. If you are in the area - I definitely recommend stopping to check it out. There's plenty of parking - so there's no excuse not to stop LOL

We've come here for apple picking as well as recently for their fireworks event for the 4th of July…read morecelebration. They have many varieties of apples and the views are amazing however the prices are a bit high. We usually take our grandkids and it adds up very quickly. Charging what you need to charge for the apples is one thing but they also charge for the use of bounce houses. I don't know but it comes off a a bit greedy. Anyway, for the 4th of July event, while we appreciate that parking was free and was pretty organized, the quality of fireworks was a bit disappointing especially considering that they had some partnership with the town and it was for the USA's 250th.

I discovered this horse farm online. I called to make reservations for myself, my husband and my 2…read morekids (6 and 7) to horseback ride for 1 hour on a trail. I was able to make same day reservations. $35 per person, helmets are included. Pay cash. The business owner's home phone is the business phone as well so don't be thrown off and hang up when she answers the phone as "hello" instead of stating the business name. The staff are very knowledgable about each horse. We had 2 guides since each of the kid's horses is tied in tandem to the guide's horse. We were given quick and thorough instructions on how to steer, stop and move the horse. The trail is quite nice. Set back in the woods and through fields and up a mountains (short inclined terrain). The horses are gentle and pace together well. They appear well cared for and are adored by staff - they know the intricacies of each horse's personalities very well. The guides are friendly and good with kids. I definitely recommend calling for a reservation. The website says they also do camps and lessons. It is the perfect thing to do for your summer Maine vacation after you've exhausted the usually outdoor adventures like hiking and kayaking you can relax and let the horse take you for a hike.

Incredibly rude. Called repeatedly, left messages on vm daily for days to try to plan a family…read moreexcursion. They never returned calls. I eventually reached a live person on my third day of trying to book a trail ride for family; they were rude about booking, wouldn't allow an 11 year old experienced rider to ride without a rope led companion horse and said they didn't know if the possibility of rain would affect the ride and whether we'd go out. I guess they're too busy for "tourists".
