Bacon breakfast totachos
Kyndra P.

I can't get enough of this place. AMAZING food and even more amazing people. The owners are so sweet and make you feel at home with their amazing food and sweet personalities. I've ordered a few things here but the ones that stand out to me the most is the Keto bowl and the breakfast totachos! Definitely a must to try one of those two. Also I recommend the Chipotle Aioli on anything you get here. It's fantastic!

Cowboys burrito

This place is always amazing and the owners are very kind people. We go here pretty often and are never disappointed, their burritos are great, the Kevin bacon sandwich is my go-to, and my wife loves the tatchos. They also have energy drinks and coffee, definitely try them out.

I tortilla-y love Morning Kick! Morning Kick has the best breakfast burritos as well as the best staff. It's family-owned and -operated. They started out as a local food truck and eventually opened this fast-casual style brick and mortar. The space is cozy with ample seating indoor and out. You can still find the food truck at the Gilbert farmers market every Saturday. I've dined and ordered to-go many times from Morning Kick. I always get the same burrito, the green chili burrito, $11.35. It's one of their vegetarian burritos and comes with scrambled eggs, seasoned tots, house green chile sauce, with shredded cheese wrapped in a 14" local tortilla. This thing is packed full of ingredients and flavor. I usually eat half and save the other half for later. Their fresh house salsa compliments the burrito perfectly. They roast the tomatoes in house and only use fresh ingredients; no canned ingredients. Their burritos also pair well with a side of tots. Aside from their amazing burritos, Morning Kick is also known for their morning kicks -- coffee! In fact, they were on Yelp's Top Places to Drink in Phoenix in 2023. They offer brewed coffee, cold brew, espresso drinks, and Lotus energy drinks. I always get my usual, oat milk latte with honey and cinnamon, which they make really well. I will be back for my next fix!

Steak Burrito

Steak Burrito is huge - let's start there. Well worth the price as it was stuffed w steak, eggs cheese and tots. The salsa was a good addition as well. Coffee was good too. Staff were friendly and food was ready quickly. I won't be eating til dinner that's for sure.

Blueberry pancake and custom omelette

Our go to place for Saturday brunch! Word of warning for the naive, the burritos are massive! My husband and I usually split one and it's very filling. Our favorites are the cowboy and chorizo burritos. Egg preparations like the Benedict and wide variety of omelettes all great quality. It does get crowded on Saturday mornings but service is quick, efficient and polite! I recommend the blueberry pancake for those with a sweet tooth!

This wasn't my first choice to eat at . since we were kind of close and tight with time we came here to eat and good thing we did. This place is actually really really good. We had the bacon and tots burrito and the Carne Asada breakfast burrito and we added bacon. Let me just say this burrito was one of my favorites. I've had the meat was so good. The only thing I can say is that I wish I had a spicier salsa, but this place is well worth it. My wife didn't really like her mocha!!

Country Breakfast Burrito

First time in and it won't be our last! The portions are huge! Very shareable portions or great for left overs. We got the Country Breakfast Burrito. The sausage and the tots with the salsa together was so good. The Totchos were my favorite!! We got the carne asada totchos and it was so crispy and flavorful with all the ingredients together. Very friendly / energetic staff. They were helpful on giving suggestions for our first time coming in. The staff were so friendly to everyone coming in. I love how they knew almost all the returning customers that morning. You can tell people love coming here. Many tables to sit at after you order. There are also chairs available for you to wait for your order togo. We highly recommend this place for a quick and delicious breakfast!

If you're in the mood for monster sized burritos or want to share a loaded tot meal, this is a place for you! The restaurant is very friendly to customers and is very attentive to their needs. They bring a lot of energy to a sluggish morning, even.

Parking 5/5 Always a challenge but coming early and doing the circle dance landed us a nice space across from the Liberty Market. Atmosphere 5/5 Such a cool restaurant with allot of history dating back to 1935/1958/2008/2022 which reflects the years of the establishments service and architecture evolutions. Always a great vibe here! Service 10/5 Our experience tonight began with the beautiful and friendly hostess Bailey. She greeted us with a warm smile and asked us what our seating presence was. We grabbed a booth overlooking Page street and the foot traffic outside. Our server tonight was Treven who joined us table side. He had our drink and starters in quickly. My wife ordered the Lucky Penny Latte and I had iced tea. Starter was their out of this world Burrata. The photos fall short of its glory. Entrees was their memorable minestrone soup, and I ordered their sesame ginger noodle salad featuring sweet potato glass noodles which are delicious and a host of smartly paired vegetables, chicken and a pleasant ginger sriracha delivering some spice and heat without overpowering the dish itself. For desert we fell way off the wagon with their in-house carrot cake. A slice easily feeds four and we enjoyed ours with espressos. Dinner was excellent from the service to the scratch kitchen food, and expressos, Magnifico! $125.00 with tip and leftovers too. Date night my friends-SYOY!

We started with large French fries served with two smallish containers ketchup and chipotle sauce. Fries good but could have a bit hotter and served with insufficient amount of sauces. 3. Hubs had Caesar salad. I'm not kidding when I tell you that half of the bowl was croutons. 2. I had the minestrone soup with sausage, no pasta. This was absolute delicious and filling. I'd come back just for a bowl @ $17. 5. Hubs and I shared the wood fired pepperoni pizza. This may have been one of the worst pizzas I've had in recent years. Floppy, scant cheese and sauce. Shriveled basil and tiny pepperonis. Even worse, the bottom was black. Just awful. 1. Our waitress and other servers were all friendly. Nice vibe, clean and gender inclusive restrooms clean and tidy. We might come back for dinner one day and try other dishes. (I'd still get the soup). Super convenient given the Hale theater's close proximity. Well def come back for coffee and dessert! ~EG Eats

I don't know who invented avocado toast, I just know I love it. A nice smear of avocado on some fluffy bread? Yes, please. A bunch of us from my spin class decided to get together on a Sunday for brunch and here's what I munched: Grande Chicken TInga Nachos ($18 - Shredded chicken tinga, queso, roasted tomato salsa, black beans, pico de gallo, roasted jalapeño, cilantro lime crema): Okay, maybe I don't recommend the nachos. While topped with a good amount of cheese on top, once congealed, any chip on the bottom that you pull out is just going to be a naked chip. They do top these chips off with a generous amount of toppings. Brunch Burger ($19 - Angus beef patty, sunny side egg, avocado, applewood smoked bacon, cheddar, sriracha aioli, hash brown patty, brioche bun, choice of fresh fruit or breakfast potatoes): I shared this burger and requested the kitchen to cut it for me which they did. Very thankful that they were okay with the request. The burger itself was decent. It was a little weird to eat as the tiny hash brown patty made the structural integrity funny but it's not a deal breaker. I will say that it needed more sauce or something. The burger was dry after a few bites. I also had my lunch with the most savory and spicy Bloody Mary. It was amazing and probably one of my favorite Bloody Marys in a long while. You're in DT Gilbert where the energy is going to be fun. You really can't go wrong having bunch here.

We came in with our family and three kids and sat on the patio since we were a larger group. After eating, our kids were sitting in chairs near our table, chatting and moving around a bit. They weren't being loud or disruptive, but a nearby a couple clearly seemed upset. The woman was shaking her head and saying to the waitress "this isn't okay to be doing while people are eating", pointing toward our kids. Once I realized this, I immediately called my kids back over and had them sit with us, and I even let her know that if something was bothering her, she could've told us and I would have addressed it right away. The couple chose to ignore us and left shortly after. The manager then came out and reassured us that Lucky Lou's is a family-friendly restaurant and that our kids were absolutely fine. That meant a lot to us and really showed how supportive and understanding the staff is. I also hope one day that couple realizes how hard it is to keep a 4-, 6-, and 8-year-old sitting at a table for more than 30 minutes without shoving an iPad in front of them. On top of that, the service was excellent, the atmosphere was welcoming, and I honestly had the best burger and tater tots of my life.
