I decided to only repair the phone with water damage. Upon first impression, the guy seemed nice. He told me the screen needed to be replaced and we could hang around because it would not take that long. He fixed the phone in 15-30 mins. Everything seemed fine with the phone. My daughter showed me the phone and asked if the screen looked uneven to me. I brushed it off and said no it looks fine to me but to be honest, I wasn't really studying it. We left his shop and drove about a mile up the street to Sonic. While we sat in the drive thru, the phone started glitching. Naturally, I took it back. This guy starts visually getting upset, raised his voice and said the phone was cracked from the INSIDE and accused my 9yo daughter of dropping the phone. The phone was never dropped and even if it was, it would have been inside the car, which I doubt could crack the screen FROM THE INSIDE. He starts giving me a lecture about how I'm going to waste my money getting the phone fixed because my daughter keeps dropping the phone. He ran with an assumption that the daughter whose phone WASN'T fixed must have dropped the phone and it cracked from the inside. His phone rings and he answered it. Then, walked to the back in an office as if I wasn't even there. I found this place on a Google search. The ONLY reason I chose this business was because it had 4.5 stars as I rely on other customer's experiences. I usually take our electronics to a certified Apple repair shop off Katy FWY but I didn't want to drive there because this place was 6 miles from my house. I paid $107 to get the screen replaced at this shop. I took my phone to the shop off Katy Fwy (where I normally go) and was told that the screen was cracked from the inside, which signifies that the repairman did not screw the screw in completely so when he put the LCD screen on top of it it cracked from the inside because the screw wasn't completely screwed down. The repairman also pointed out that the screen was uneven EXACTLY where the screen was cracked from the inside. I should have listened to my 9yo and took the phone back in Fixit Movil before I left. Additionally, the repairman at UbreakiFix told me that there's a 30% chance a screen can be cracked like this from dropping it and a 70% chance that whoever repaired it was careless. Now, I will have to pay $125 to replace the screen that FIXIT MOVIL cracked then blamed my 9 yo for doing it. Patronize with caution!!!!

***OVERPRICED, HORRIBLE STAFF, IDENTITY THEFT ATTEMPT***…read more Postal lady tried to take pictures of my ID on her personal phone!!! Went in to get a quote, i was told the technician wasn't there but i could leave my apple watch with them to give to him that day and he will get back to me by the end of the day with a quote. 3 days later i still didn't get an answer. I called and no one answered, instead i rec'd a text back telling me they're still "working on it". I brought my watch in for hardware issues (the front face popped off, which was indicated on my form they asked me to fill out). I didn't get an update or quote on the watch until the 4th day. I was told there was a "motherboard issue" and it would cost $159 + tax to fix my 5 series apple watch!!! I told them I didn't want to move forward. Then when I looked at how long it would take for me to get a new one, I thought about forking over the money to fix it. Finally, I decided not to and would go pick it up. **HERE'S WHERE IT GOES LEFT.** I walk in while on a business call and tell the lady behind the counter (a postal worker because this business is located inside a postal store) and tell her, "I'm here to pick up my apple watch". She says, "I will help you when you're off the phone and you walk over here" and she walked over to another part of the counter. I went to the part of the counter i was helped when I dropped the watch off, but ok. Mind you, no one was in the store but me and her. Then she asked me my name, i told her it could be either my first or middle name (i didn't remember what I wrote) but they're both my names. She calls the tech, then I text the tech (mind you i told him I was coming in to pick it up). She said she knew nothing about it and needed to confirm with him, fine. Then she keeps asking him my name but my name is on the form. I repeat MY FULL NAME while the paper is in her hand and she's hiding it. She then asks me for ID. By this time, she and I spoke to the tech and he confirmed it was me. I gave her my ENTIRE NAME and She still demanded ID to give me back my VERY BROKEN watch. I showed her my name on my money app, she REFUSED TO LOOK AT IT. I get my id from the car, I show her my ID she tries to grab it (ABSOLULTY NOT). I lay it on the counter, still in my fingers THEN SHE TRIES TO TAKE A PICTURE OF MY ID WITH HER PERSONAL CELL PHONE. "ABSOLUTELY NOT" i said. "YOU WILL NOT TAKE A PICTURE OF MY ID!! He just told you it was my watch and I just told you my entire name, I showed you my name on my money app, you refused to look at it". Then i showed her my id again and pointed it out "LOOK MY WHOLE NAME IS ON MY ID WHICH MATCHES THE FORM, that's enough. She ignored me and still didn't look. I then had to pay a $25 + TAX FOR A DIAGNOSTIC FEE via a money app???. Again, I had a HARDWARE problem and i was billed for a software diagnostic. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. The postal people are rude and the tech will not be there or answer your calls. I told the tech I would be leaving a review because of that lady's behavior and he asked what happened. I tried to call him to update him and he didn't pick up my call. I blocked him and WILL NEVER BE BACK AT THIS LOCATION FOR ANY BUSINESS WHATSOEVER.

I had checked in advance with Nerds-to-Go and sent a photo of how far off the scanning bar was before I brought it in to confirm they could work on it. I understood that once they got into the machine it might be too expensive to repair and there were no guarantees. After taking it in and paying the $99.00 diagnostic fee, I got a call a couple of days later saying. It seems that they had done some more research and realized that given how far off the track the bar was, this was something they were not comfortable fixing and needed to go to an Epson-certified tech as it would require going into the motherboard of the machine. Although I realized that this might not work out from the get-go, from what I can tell, they did not even look inside. I am frustrated I paid $99.00 when they knew the machine, had a photo of the issue, and only did research after I brought it in. The people seem lovely and professional and I REALLY hope this was a one-off for the company and not the way they normally operate.
