Morgana's turns 5 on July 11- and is giving away prizes.
Toni A.

Ordered online some gluten free treats for a friend. Popped in the fuchsia pink bakery to pick them up and "wow." First of all the smell was mesmerizing! I wish I could bottle it or somehow attach it to this review. She caters to people with food allergies- gluten, dairy, soy and nuts! And it's all delicious! Not delicious for gluten free - just plain delicious! This is now on my sweet treat rotation and I don't have any food allergies. That's just how good it is. YUM!!

Our reception venue plated Morgana's cake beautifully.

No one knew my wedding cake was gluten free! As a gluten free bride, I wanted to make sure I could enjoy my own wedding cake, not a special-only-for-me sweet at the end of the night, my *actual* wedding cake. It turned out even more beautiful than I imagined! Service was another level; Morgana came to the venue and iced the cake on the serving table to make sure it was perfect and not damaged in transit. And it was so delicious! The fact that she is a local baker where I live near Kansas City means I can order a smaller version of my wedding cake for each anniversary and that makes me so happy! Also, I am specifically addicted to her cupcakes, croissants, and focaccia bread. It's dangerous to my waistline to walk into her bakery. Lol! Also, my first generation Italian husband loves her focaccia. If that's not an endorsement, I don't know what is!

Lemon cake with raspberry filling

My daughter has celiac and can't have gluten. She had a baby shower and Morgana's made a beautiful cake that looked exactly like the picture. Everyone raved about the cake. It was a delicious lemon cake with raspberry filling. Other gluten free bakers just offered vanilla or chocolate. I highly recommend Morgana's. Will definitely use again.

Gluten free croissants

The best croissants I have ever put in my mouth!!! You don't have to be gluten free to eat them, but if you are you can totally eat these because they are 100% gf!

The top ten inch peacock cake she designed and freehand design.

She is amazing when it come to making food taste great for us GF/vegan/allergy foodies. She did my wedding (2015)cake last minute and it was fabulous! I had three moist flavors (strawberry, lemon, and white cake) . The quest kept eating my cake instead of the regular cupcakes, lol. Since I have been to her store in Raytown and developed a habit from all the goodies. Try her out and you not regret the tastebud frenzy her delectable treats cause. Ummm ummm good

me crying with my Donut Holes
Heidi E.

had a donut and started crying. i've been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease for over 4 years now and am allergic to wheat and dairy. i love donuts so much, but haven't had anything compare to the "normal" donuts i used to eat before diagnosed. morgana's gf donut holes genuinely made me burst out in tears because they were so good and i had missed donuts so badly. the pricing was also very reasonable, which is rare for things allergen friendly . thank you for doing gods work!!!

Vanilla Bean cupcake.

Finally a Gluten Free bakery. Fabulous goodies. She bakes cakes, cupcakes, cookie, pie, bread and hot rolls. I had peanut butter cookies like my mother use to make. This is a bakery anyone would love it just happens to be gluten free. Almost bought a delicious looking red velvet cupcake real red velvet. Not chocolate with red food coloring. Must go back and buy it. Lol. I can't say enough except let's support this new business. Especially all of you who have to eat gluten free like me.

More cracks in fondant

Ordered a wedding cake for daughters wedding. Ordered a 3 tier cake with buttercream. Cake came not as ordered. She took this upon herself to use fondant on all 3 layers. Bride does not like fondant at all. Cake came with waterspots. Cracks in the fondant. Looks as of it was done by a child. Used ribbon to cover the mistakes on the fondant. Again not as ordered. Cake was supposed to be navy blue on bottom. Marble in middle. And naked pink on top. Pics below as what we received.

The bowls and wraps are excellent and they have so many worldly combinations to choose from. If you're feeling slightly adventurous I would recommend either the Thai or the Mediterranean, both are extremely flavorful and are approachable but a little different from the norm. The Thai is my personal favorite and happens to be the best seller, I love the sweetness that comes through with the chili sauce as well as the crunch that the peanuts provide. The Mediterranean has all the classic ingredients you'd expect with salty feta, creamy chickpeas and herby chicken. Another go to would be the Southwest (I always order it as a wrap) it isn't the most interesting combination of ingredients but they all compliment eachother nicely, the black beans, corn and bell peppers are the perfect trio of vegetables and cheddar jack cheese adds the Tex-Mex flair. If you're looking for a saucy wrap or bowl I would say the barbecue versions are for you! They have a KC barbecue, which I order more often but they also have an Okie barbecue which adds crispy bacon to the traditional mix of barbecue chicken, corn and cheese. You really can't go wrong with any of the global options on the menu and it's a choose your own adventure type of deal so if you're low-carb they have a salad option, if you want rice they have that option too for a bowl or if you're like me and prefer a handheld the wrap is always a great choice.

This is a perfect spot for a pretty healthy lunch that also tastes good. The Thai is my favorite…read moreand I typically get it as a bowl with rice on the bottom. There just is not a lot of the celiac awareness going on around the midwest. Anyhow, having a bakery right here in the KC area is amazing. They serve Waldo's Pizza, so you can get their GF dough there (already baked, though), and at Hy-Vees in Lee's Summit and Nature's Pantry in Independence.

The cupcakes were absolutely delicious, however the customer service was a little frustrating. A few emails I sent didn't get replied to, she never received one of my emails, and setting up a time or a way to get her cake stand back to her was frustrating. We only have one car, so delivering it to her was difficult for us, but she seemed unwilling to just come to our house and pick it up or to have us drop it off at her house. I finally was able to take it on the bus to her husband, but it was kind of a hassle. She also had us meet her at Panera Bread to taste the cakes, which I thought was strange since Panera is kind of the House of Poison for me. All in all, Olivia's Oven's baked goods are absolutely delicious, and I loved that I was able to eat cake at my wedding without it ruining my honeymoon! Buy her delectable goodies! But if you have her cater to you personally, you might want to have a little patience.
