My wife got me a chocolate Bundt cake here for my birthday and she got the carrot cake for herself. A few weeks ago - Stopped in for a guilty pleasure. I've been trying to eat better and thought I would reward myself with a little treat. Ordered one cake and as I was about to leave I asked for a fork. The rather snippy person informed me "we are not a dine in restaurant". Now they have bundles of plastic forks on the counter mind you. Sad but customer service these days seems to be gone! Ate part of the cake with my hands and threw the rest away. Maybe God telling me you weren't suppose to be eating that anyway. Just sad. Hope that .02 was worth loosing a customer. Nothing short of delicious! the atmosphere in the building although small is very welcoming and warm. I really wish I had remembered the lady's name at the front desk taking my pre but she was young but so sweet and very polite even though I wasn't sure what I wanted. Stopped in to grab a birthday cake. Not to my surprise but dismayed nevertheless, the samples are gone! There was no sign posted so I asked and according to the State, there will be no more sampling of the flavors of the day until..... Better safe than sorry ! This establishment made me 20 minutes late to work and they were very disrespectful at the front counter, and opted to play on their phone instead of icing my cake. If I could give no stars I wold. I ordered 2 dozen Bundtinis two weeks before my baby shower. Called the day of a few hours before I was scheduled to pick them up to make sure they would be done. They assured me that they would be ready. Perfect. I get there in a hurry and I had to wait 45 minutes for the cakes. Once I got them I didnt look to check and make sure they were correct which is my fault. I got to the event and got out the cupcakes. The whole order was messed up. So they give me two free dozen. I get them. They were right this time but half of the dozen of the cakes were so much smaller than the confetti side. I'm dissatisfied. I love their cakes. I love Nothing Bundt Cake. Cakes are amazing but the staff at this location are horrible. So rude and unfriendly. Mia at the register makes me never want to step foot in this location again. No hello, no how can I help you? She just stood there looking miserable. When I gave her my order she read the total and never said anything else. Didn't ask for my punch card. Nothing. The only reason that this store stays in business is because of the prime location.. NOT because of the staff. Most NBC stores have very friendly upbeat helpful staff.. DO not go to this location. It does not deserve your patronage. I've complained about the staff at this location before.. stop hiring teenagers with bad attitudes. Horrible customer service on 10/23/2021. I had placed an order online for one dozen custom bundtinis for pickup on the morning of 10/23/21. My daughter and I picked up our order at the correct time. Take our order home, open the box and realize that it's not what was ordered. I called the store and explained the problem. The girl that I spoke to said that she would need to speak to her manager and she put me on hold. A few minutes later another girl (which I now realize was Briana) told me that they could redo my order or give me a store credit. Her tone and attitude were extremely unprofessional. I opted to have my order done correctly as this was for my daughter-in-law's birthday party for that day. She seemed annoyed and asked when I wanted to pick them up. I answered that I would like them as soon as possible because they were for a party. She then made me repeat what I had ordered and said they would be ready at 11:15. Again, her tone and attitude were so off-putting and unprofessional. She then told me that I had to bring the wrong order back to PROVE that what I had picked up was really the wrong order. I was shocked.She made me feel like I was lying about my order. I went back to the store with the wrong order. That's when I met the person on the phone, Briana. She was rude from the get-go!! I showed her the wrong order. She said "Yup!! They gave you a standard assortment!!" She was loud!! She didn't apologize. She wouldn't look at me. As I'm asking her what she's going to do with the wrong order, she takes the box from me, goes to the back and yells that she's going to throw them out!! YELLS. AT. ME. FROM.THE. BACK. OF. THE. STORE. I was shocked. She comes back with the "correct" order. Informs me that she already unsealed the box to prove that I was getting the right order. I asked why she unsealed it before coming back to me and why wasn't I allowed to open it. AGAIN...attitude. She loudly tells me again that she opened it to prove to me that I got the right order. I then asked if she was the manager.I get a loud "YES!!" I then asked her why she was being so rude. I get a loud "How am I being rude?!" I could not believe that I was being talked to like this from a manager. Briana was completely rude, unprofessional AND I never once received an apology. I have been getting Nothing Bundt Cakes for years. This was my second time using this location. First time was a great experience. Obviously this second time was terrible. I think that my next order from Nothing Bundt Cakes will be at the Metcalf location even though it will be a drive. I have never had any issues with that location. I did email the LS location after my visit hoping that it would reach one of the owners. I had asked if there was a number they could be reached at to discuss the poor customer service. I received a response that said..."I am the store manager Jennifer. I would be happy to help you". Quite honestly, I didn't respond because I was concerned that it was really Briana sending the response since she had told me that she was the manager. This is the best place ever to get a cake product. Everything is very moist and soft. I really enjoyed their red velvet Bundt cake. They do put on to much frosting in the middle, but that is just my opinion. I recommend you go there! read more

10/10 cakes literally my favorite dessert however i went there tonight and the girl that rang me up Marcy S. was very rude granted it was close to closing time but there's no reason to roll your eyes over multiple cakes. then when i realized i had forgotten one and ordered another i gave her my change from the previous order (2.87) and she took all of it back and only added 2.71 now that's not a huge deal and i didn't realize until i got home but with the rest of the interaction it kind of just hurt my feeling. i really don't think she was purposely trying to and i'm sure she had a long day but that's still not a way to act to a customer read more

Cannot say enough good things about their customer service! The bakery was slammed today due to Mother's Day. When we got home after picking up our cake (which we thought was gluten-free), we realized we had the wrong cake and the bakery was already closed. I sent them an email, and immediately got a call from the owner who offered to meet us at the bakery and get us the correct cake! We will definitely be repeat customers! It isn't the cake I am unhappy with. It is the service. I ordered 2 cakes online for a Saturday 1:00 pick up at the Lees Summit store. I arrived to crowd of people waiting. At least 30 people and the kept coming. I waited to tell them I was there to pick up. I waited outside trying to social distance. Thank goodness the weather was nice. After 50 minutes of waiting, the last 15 watching people who came after me get their cakes, I finally had to demand my cakes. You would have thought I was crazy for asking. Rude, slow, and finally handed to me by a young person who said NOTHING to me. NOTHING. Not a thank you, a sorry for the wait, NOTHING but a shove of 2 boxes towards me. This isn't the 1st time I have ordered ahead of time and still waited even before the pandemic. They are so rude in this store overall. I have periodically continued to shop there as the cakes have become a favorite of my family and clients. But this is the last time. I can find something else for sure. Not worth my time or aggravation to pay $55 for cake and be treated repeatedly so poorly. I would like to see any one of them wait 50" for a pre-ordered cake. It was Mother's Day weekend.
