Other reviewers have commented on the welcoming atmosphere, and I'm here to say - - they were not joking. Teeshia was patient with this first time patron. Describing the sandwiches I was interested in ordering. They did NOT disappoint. I had the Salmon Club. It was outstanding. The brioche bun was a perfect compliment to the flavorful salmon, perfectly crispy pork bacon and colorful lettuce, tomato and (YUM!) red onion. I was well satisfied with consuming half of the delicious sandwich. My husband devoured his Ruben sandwich and proclaimed it as great. #btw: the shop offers turkey bacon for those requiring a special diet. Thoughtful touch! My carrot with vanilla ice cream is in the freezer. I look forward to savoring a bite or two for dessert. Oh WE'LL BE BACK!!!

The place was filled with regulars, all of whom were greeted by name. We had the BLT, Salmon Club, and seasoned fries. The number of flavors available for the lemonade was surprising, and so yummy. Other reviews have described the food, so I won't repeat those here, but know the food was delicious. We look forward to coming back here. The owner showed me the side room she plans on opening during the day for business lunch meetings and such. Chamber of Commerce, Fraternal and other Charitable organizations who need a place for a business lunch - look no further!!

The waffle cones are also incredible. The downside is street parking, which tends to be busy. But the ice cream makes it totally worth it!

I had high hopes for High Hopes, but I felt kind of disappointed after I went. There was a long…read moreline, and parking was limited to street parking. I ordered the Campfire S'mores ice cream, and although it was rich and creamy, I didn't really get the nostalgic hit of graham cracker, chocolate, and marshmallow. I felt like I was eating a glorified vanilla. For the price and hype, I was expecting more. Would I go back? Maybe if friends wanted to go and try it. Edit: The owner of High Hopes wrote a response including the statement, "Yelp glorifies amateur critics, giving them a platform for disproportionate, often weaponized power to individual opinions over professional expertise." It sounds disrespectful toward Yelpers, as if the typical person or customer isn't allowed to say whether they like or dislike something. That is the entire point of this platform, and arguably, any customer review. The response from Jamie invalidates the individual's experience and alienates the customer. If this is the culture behind High Hopes, it does not feel inclusive to all. Therefore, I will not be going back. I will keep the review at 3 stars because I stand by my original review.

We were welcomed in with the very warm service and friendly customer service .As I looked at the case to make my selection, they have specialty and unique pastries one of their signatures is Mochi donuts with rotating monthly flavors I got the pear berry, blackberry, butterscotch, lemon meringue. My favorite pastries are croissants and they have biscuit and gravy croissant ,ham and gruyere croissant , a croissant with a fried spam slice, apricot pistachio puff, and their croissants are on monthly rotating flavors. I ate my chocolate croissant and I must say it was the best croissant I have ever had so flaky and soft packed with lots of filling, so go give them a try and remember it is a first come first service because they do sell out early.
