Nice display. But, I didn't see any vitamin staff the whole time we were in the store. It could have been their break or maybe working in their back room. We were able to find what we needed. Nice display of flowers. The produce department looked clean. Certain areas were not full. The bulk department had nice displays. It took me awhile to find the refrigerated coconut water.

I really enjoyed its beer cave attached to the store which featured a wide selection of Fine Wines and a small selection of my favorite non-alcoholic drinks. Shopping wise, this place featured a great deal of grocery items and the staff here was absolutely friendly and helpful at the same time. There's a little bit of construction going on too which should be over in the next couple of days. Items are a little bit pricey for my standards but it nearly has everything that I look forward in a grocery store. This place is usually pretty packed with the parking lot and as you may have to park pretty far and walk a bit to get to the store. But checking out surprisingly is pretty quick.

Aldi's All Right With Me!…read more I had never even heard of Aldi until moving back to the area 12 years ago, but with one exactly one mile from my new home I felt I needed to check it out. Thanks to a remodeling a couple of years ago, the parking lot is well maintained, marked, and accessible. That is where you meet with their ingenious way of collecting shopping carts: to release one from where they are all stored. You need to insert a quarter into a latch that chains it to the others. When you finish shopping and return your cart, your quarter is returned after you latch the chain to your cart! Costs are kept low without the need to assign labor chasing carts around the parking lot, or replacing carts that are stolen or damaged by traffic. Their logic is amazing! The store is always clean inside, and isles are wide enough for shoppers to pass each other. Another cost saving policy is not providing paper or plastic bags - you are expected to bring your own! They will sell you a bag at a reasonable cost if you have to have one. Oh, and you do need to "bag" your purchases yourself. Not providing bags or labor at the check out keeps their cost lower. Those savings are passed on to customers. On first pass, Aldi looks to me like an oversized Quick Trip rather than a super market. That does drive a slight reduction in stock, but selection is usually adequate. Balancing that is things like wine are priced better than anywhere else in town. In fact, it is the only place I go to for table wines. I am rarely familiar with the wineries, but have never been disappointed with any selection. The also have a number of frozen food items that are very tasty and reasonably priced. In the end I do plan for stopping by one of the super stores for an average of four or five items (e.g., distilled water, selected produce, and specific brands) each week. The only low note has been the short shelf life of berries and the like. With their low prices and helpful staff, Aldi continues to be all right with me!

The young lady at the self-check registers was SO GREAT! I believe her name to be Kristina (blonde, curly haired and wears eyeglasses). Set at the Customer Service counter was able to help me with my Price Chopper discount card refund. I failed to tell my cashier that I had one. OOPS! I'm new to this area.... The woman at the gourmet meat counter was able to direct me to a frozen meat item I was searching for. She was marinating some pork chops, when I inquired about them, she described the marinade to me. Oh yeah. I bought one for my dinner that night. It was tasty!!
