This place has fantastic food at a very reasonable price... sure beats going out for burgers or tacos all the time. And a huge plus is that most of their food is gluten free, as we have a family member that has celiac disease; we just ask them and they make sure that nothing with gluten is included. August 14, 2022 - Sunday On a Sunday night around 8:30 pm, I came here with my husband and 10 month old. The place was very clean inside and staff and the owners were very nice too. They say the food is Halal, but I'm not sure if they actually are because I didn't see halal stamped anywhere. We ordered the Butter Chicken Poutine ($9) and the Bombay Lamb Burger with a side of fries ($11). The prices are a bit on the high end side. The food was okay in my opinion. I am Pakistani and thought the food would have been more spicy or flavorful, but it was just average to me. My guess is that they kept the food more bland to attract the wider American population who don't eat spicy food. The Butter Chicken Poutine was a decent size but the fries did not taste fresh, so it seemed like they used old oil. Overall, it didn't seem like authentic Indian butter chicken since there wasn't much flavor in it. My husband ordered the Bombay Lamb Burger with fries. Same issue with his fries. They didn't taste fresh. Also, his burger was too cold. The taste was average too. We will visit one more time to see if we have a better experience, otherwise we will probably pass up this place. First time trying More Curry and it was a good experience. The service was friendly and fast. The food came out sizzling hot. I ordered the shrimp kebab and hubby ordered the chicken kebab. Relative to other Indian-adjacent restaurants nearby, they have been faster to give us our order and the diversity in the menu is better than other spots, imo. It was cool to see some wraps on the menu, which I haven't seen before. We often have to wait 25-30 minutes at other spots even if we call ahead, so this place is ahead of the curve so far. This new Indian place is describe by a far few words, in my honest opinion, the best word for it is heavenly! The next word I would use is savory! We came here for a Friday night, and it was not packed but more of people ordering TOGO orders. We didn't know what to expect because my fiancé also loves his Indian curry. He has told me he had tasted curry from all over the world. He is a world travel because of his job as an Electric Engineer for Panasonic. This place is pretty new, so of course the girl working at the cashier was still learning how to handle the cashier system. I assume the owner was the one helping her from the side. She was trying to enter our orders, but didn't know how to find some of the items. We were ok with it, as these new small business need time to train their employees especially they only been around for a couple of months. Hiring new help is also hard these days because nobody wants to work cause of Covid 19. Side Note: My fiancé was surprised that they didn't have different spicy level for their curry's. Most Indian places provide different spice levels, but he said maybe this business is catering to a different type of clientele. I agree because we live in a mostly Latino and Caucasian area, some of these people can't eat super spicy types of food. That could be the explanation. Onwards to our orders, my fiancé ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and I ordered the Lamb Curry. My fiancé actually really enjoyed his curry considering he has had better. Every bite of the lamb with the curry was so inviting in my tastebuds. My tastebuds literally went viral every time I had a bite! It was like HEY GIVE ME SOME MORE!!!! Yaaaa!!!!! At the same time, the curry smells so good and was super fragrant! The most inviting curry meal I've ever had. I even used the bread to scoop up the rest of my curry cause it was that yummy! FYI: I'm not a big curry eater that is why I say it was a very inviting curry meal. I'm picky with my curry's. My fiancé on the other hand loves curry meals PERIOD. Overall, everyone should give this place a try. The curry's weren't too spicy which for people who are beginners at eating spicy food is a big plus. You won't get the numbing problem in your mouth or need to drink a cup of milk after eating these curry plates. They are delicious too! Parking is not a problem. Just behind the Circle K/Starbucks area. Already impressed ... you know when you walk into a venue and there is already an air of professionalism and welcoming ambiance? It feels like that here. It also helps that the aroma definitely caught our attention. Learning it only just opened and a quick read of some of you fellow Yelpers' recommendations, we went with the double portion of butter chicken plate , samosa appetizer, and garlic naan appetizers to take home for dinner. Takeout service is super! All the takeout amenities were I clouded without a mistake. Enjoyed their delicious green tea while we waited. They upped the spice on the Chicken Tikka Masala, and it was delicious. I also had a chance to try to stuffed gol gappe, which was a nice appetizer. Came here the first week they were open. They are trying hard to figure out the best way to run the restaurant and are doing a good job. The cashier should be more in the middle of the counter so people can get their drinks easier when people are ordering. I had the butter chicken lunch special. It was amazing and delicious.
