Visiting a friend in Chilliwack so thought we would try out the NKOTB.... My friend ordered the smallest burger which the server compared to double the size of McDonald's regular burger. It was not. Very thin patty. I got one size up and it didn't seem any bigger. Fun to pick your own toppings but there was a substantial charge for cheese bacon and avacado. I splurged and got bacon and blue cheese. Should have skipped the cheese as I could only taste it in one bite. Very skimpy on the toppings. But the burger was tasty enough. The fries were good - salty!! And my friend ordered deep fried dill pickles. They were cut in spheres but I like the spears better. Tasty enough. Somebody called me from the Chilliwack location on Wednesday and apologized for the quality of food and said they would like to make it up to me with a free Classic combo. I was told to ask for a manager and they would have my nan down. I went out of my way to go in today for lunch to have my meal and asked for the manager and explained I wrote a review and Mooyah Canada contacted me through Facebook and that somebody from the store would contact me. Not only did they not have my name down, the manager said "I was here Wednesday and know nothing about it and nobody told me about it." She didn't try to call the other manager or even try to fix my recent experience at this location. She made me feel like I trying to get free food for no reason. Trendy new burger joint trying to Stand out from what is an already populated and competitive burger scene. Similar to places like 5 guys you can build up your burger from the grill up. There are a few features that set this chain apart from their competitors. Fresh subway style veggies, healthy options like luttuce wrap and salads, more variety and options when it comes to things like cheese. At first glance the patty seemed a little thin for the price. The bun was perfectly toasted and the codoments and toppings were placed well as to not have just a messy pile of what might resemble a burger. The mooyah sauce recomend by the staff was execclent and I highly recomend you try it. The sauce complimented the entire burger with the right amount of kick. I ordered the poutine and I was pleased both with the taste and quality of it. For a burger chain they do poutine right! A fair amount of gravy and a healthy amount of cheese curds made it a pleasant dish. The fries were crisp and not over powered with salt. The resturant was clean and new. The bathrooms were also well looked after. The inside is a pleasant change from what you would expect from a burger place. A comphy enviroment with some neat paint schemes compliments the experience. "Welcome to mooyah Chilliwack bc" painting across the wall brings a home town feel to the location. New multi flavor coke machine is an added bonus! The price point is a bit high but is on par with places like fat burger and five guys. 4 out of 5 stars. Me and number one son are always looking for a decent burger joint and we just had to give Mooya a try. We got the Mooya burger with a small fries and pop. When we walked in we noticed the place was busy (good sign). The pop here is self-serve, which I like, and you can get free refills. The pop machine is easy to use if you follow the prompts (touch screen style). You can even get free shots of lemon and vanilla in your pop. The burger has a good quality bun and toppings, but what made this burger better than most was the meat patty. It was hot, juicy, and caramelized to the point that it gave the patty a slightly crunchy outer layer and was very tasty. The fries were good and hot and their small is comparable to an extra large from other fast food places. It was a solid meal. I would have given it five stars and go back more often if it wasn't for the high price. read more

Mooyah has the worst hot dog I've ever tasted in my life. The poutine was good. I watched one of the employees make my milkshake and this is what's I saw do...him cleaning the milkshake machine then not wash his hands, he then used his hand to place oreo cookies at the top of my milkshake. He then put my straw in the cup by touching where my mouth would go on the straw. Gross. read more

Well here is another little review. I brought my family of 3 out for burgers and fries to mooyah. It was nice and clean and new looking. The staff were fairly friendly. I was however displeased with the food and service and the price. I ordered 2 hamburgers and one large fries and a large drink and a kids meal. The bill came to almost $40. I think that price would have been ok if this were a top notch burger joint .... but it was a 3 star place that forgot some of our order and the burgers were not labeled and very skinny burger patties. I would not recommend this place to anyone. There are many other better options in chilliwack. We were not the only people that were suprised by the less then satisfactory food and the price. There were a couple guys behind us that asked to speak to the owner about these issues. A little positive ... the food had a decent flavor. read more

I really don't know what to say, you would expect a burger joint to know how to cook a burger. This definitely is on the top 10 worst burgers I've ever had in my life. The burger was over cooked and burnt to crisp, and if you put it on a scale would maybe weigh 2oz, and thats being generous. The service was slow, which I don't mind if the product is good, it wasn't, and I had a raspberry milkshake which they couldn't even mix properly, the majority of it was vanilla. I wasn't that impressed but they are different - you may like them. Service is painfully slow. It was always slow but as at 12/03/2018 it was ridiculous. Mooyah is Moo-yum! Been here a few times and they make a really good burger. Everything is made to order and they have a lot of good options and menu choices. Plus, they're pricing structure is a lot more reasonable than a Fatburger or other made-to-order places, plus I think it tastes better. The only drawback is the location, they're hidden by the Hampton Inn at the Lickman Rd exit. They really should be more prominent, this is a joint worth stopping at. read more

Not happy with my order. First off, when I asked about the "Moo sauce" (or whatever it was called) I specifically asked if it was a mayo base (ie creamy, like an aioli) and the person taking my order said yes, but with a little kick! Sounds good, right? What I got was a runny mess that waterlogged my burger, was tangy and a little spicy (not awful) but definitely not a mayo base seeing as how it ran all over the place and was dripping when I picked it up. It reminded me of French dressing. The bun was inedible as it kept falling apart due to the sauce being so runny. I ate the burger pieces separately. Lots of topping options, which is nice. Too bad I didn't get a chance to enjoy them on my burger. Sautéed mushrooms looked good but were coated in moo sauce so nope. Done with that. Fries were good. Chocolate shake was delicious. $17. I ate at this location during a recent visit to Chilliwack, and the burgers really are very good. It's a bit pricy, as the prices compare to a sit down restaurant. Even though it's a walk up counter, it's not really fast food since they cook your food after you order. Despite the higher prices then you would expect for a casual restaurant, I still recommend it for a really good and filling meal. Even their smallest burger will fill you up. read more

The turkey choice was very tasty. I order d the small size but it was plenty big and had cranberries and bacon, mushrooms, etc. It was very good!
