Second is don't allow more than 70% of the damn bar to have tables reserved. Just went in and there were at least 15 table with little white notes on them with peoples names. 15 EMPTY tables for a football game and 3 patrons waiting to give money for beer and food. Sorry, that's a recipe for me and my friends not to ever come back. The last time we were there, I got the tomato soup and grilled cheese... and ended up sitting on the toilet the rest of the evening. Sam'z pub it is from now on.

My hot wings was drenched in delicious Buffalo sauce mixture. My partners wings on the other hand did not appeal to me. The dry rubs for Cajun and Tex Mex was not consistently coated. The sauce for the Caribbean wings was cold. All in all the wings could have been presented better. I know it's a bar, but I have been to other bars for cheap wing night and presentation was still on point. My Caesar salad was well dressed, but somehow it was flavourless like it was missing something... anchovies? The Caesar drink tasted a little bit off however once I squeezed my lime, it was good to drink. Some may consider this a divey bar. I didn't hate nor did I didn't like it here. I could tell some of the customers are regulars. I did not notice inflation prices on the menu. Great service! My partner thought our server did an excellent job.

At first glance, the window paint is a bit odd, the entry crowded and cluttered, and the beverage cooler as soon as you walk in a bit confusing. Once we were told that table 3 by the window was sanitized, we sought out our spot to find the menu under the plastic protection sheet. I felt like I was at my Grandparents place and sitting on the couch, or walking up the stairs upon the carpet protection runner. The menu appeared to be quite strict with "no substitutions" everywhere. The four slices of bacon for the full breakfast appears to be generous, but the whole plate itself was underwhelming. Zero seasoning on anything provided a homogeneous taste. I was unable to discern any difference from the toast, the eggs, or frankly even the bacon..... it just all tasted the same. The lovely K's eggs were far from over easy, the bacon again plentiful, but tasteless, and the pancakes run of the mill. The Presidents Choice table syrup capped the entire experience off. The peanut butter and jam packets when creating a PBJ toast offering tasted like absolutely nothing. Basic food offering, but at $16 per plate for far from inspiring food, it's overpriced, in our opinion, not worth the money when there are so many better choices within walking distance. Three stars is generous because the food was cooked to the point that it wasn't dangerous to anyone.

We got a reservation a day before and there were plenty of spots available. They had a big drinks menu and quiet a few food options as well. Best part was that they had lots of veggie options! Here's what we got: Drinks - :: Zero-proof pineapple fizz - it def looked as good as it tasted. Very refreshing and fruity! Really enjoyed it. :: Guava aperol margarita - delicious! I could taste the guava and the spice on the rim of the glass was perfectly paired with the drink Food - :: Parmesan plenta fries - was so excited to try it, I wasn't sure what to expect. The presentation was amazing, just wish they were a big more crispy but the dipping sauce it came with was really good :: Burrata Bucatini - calabrian chili vodka cream sauce, pancetta, burrata, ricotta, thai basil, grano padano 3/5 :: Brick half chicken - pretty good! I would give it a 4/5 it was really creamy and the chicken was cooked well but I don't think it was seasoned that well. I would say for the portion size and the food, it was a bit overpriced but definitely 5/5 for the ambiance!

It's a stunning space, maybe the best in Langley that we have seen. The entrance is physical, with a wallpaper you'll never see, the shell shape is a statement. The hallway to the washrooms requires some attention with the light and to the reality of the place. The service was top notch, with the two staff members taking care of all of the tables with a well choreographed movement of product. The food, we wish, had reached the level of the service. The best item that we had was the Polenta fries with real Parmigiana Reggiano and a spicy Calabrian chili mayo and chive ash was in our mind fantastic! We'd come back for that alone. My Falafel pull apart sandwich had good flavour, but the corkscrew fried pickle was underwhelming and greasy. I don't know how they made the fries so dry, but they weren't good. The lovely K had the Spicy Peanut noodle bowl, which needed far more peanut flavour, more acid and maybe a little heat. The menu is quite eclectic, but might be a little too much so for some diners. That said the Polenta fries will bring us back, and we'll be trying to copy them at home.
