Good easy location to go! The staff are nice enough and it does get busy quickly. It's a good joint to have around as there aren't many chipotle in the area. My boyfriend loves the burrito and I always opt for the bowls. For the portion and flavour it's an affordable price. They have ice teas/lemonades as well as soft drink machines. They have "bar" top seating and some lower tables but not overly roomy for dining in. read more

This is normally my go to location for Chipotle and they always have fresh ingredients and the best tasting dishes. Although my food was really good, I was a little bothered by the unprofessional Ian of the employees. They were loud and on their phones while just hanging out with some other employees who were either on break or off duty. It just didn't look right. 3 people were just chilling and talking while 3 other employees were working hard. I could see there was a lot to do with people waiting and there didn't seem to be any urgency. Management needs to get this cleaned up. read more

We ordered a Carnitas Burrito for my daughter this evening. When we got into our car she noticed that the burrito was about half the size that it normally has been. It was barely bigger than my fist for almost $14. We were already on the road or I would have returned it. I have subsequently read online that there has been a controversy with some Chipotle locations reducing the size of their burritos and other items, against company policy. Apparently this Langley Chipotle is one of those locations. I don't think we can come here again. read more

Tonight, I had an off one (and there is more off than on). My tacos were smashed into a ball and placed in the sack with lack of care. There was little meat (steak). Stopped in the LANGLEY location for a snack or bite to eat and had never been in a Chipotle but seen them around in various locations so I stopped in to give it a try. I ordered a steak burrito with cilantro brown rice and it was very tasty and nice fresh ingredients. It was a good size for a snack but if it was a meal for lunch or dinner then I would need some more. Burritos ant tacos and salads are $10.50. Good to be back... in the area, needed a quick "food stop" before appts. so dropped in and glad we did. It's in an easy accessible location. Must note that things have really changed since the last time we were here! Took us awhile to decide which "route" we'd take & THANX to James, a friendly patient server, we came away very satisfied. Watching your food being prepared and choosing from the wide spread ingreds is intriguing, Freshness on all levels and must say the new Queso Blanco is the highlight, a flavor bomb with the perfect level of spice! We even bought extra to take home. Generous proportions as the pics clearly illustrate with quality ingreds and delicious preps. The dining area is clean, comfortable and not crowded which is appreciated. When we were there, mid-afternoon, only about a dozen diners but noted a constant "take-out" stream. There was a manager who said hello and walked by us. Waiters kept passing but no one helped us. Finally a young lady approached and told us we couldn't be seated - in her defense she did not speak English fluently. She said sorry we can seat you so we left! This one has a really nice outdoor area and the interior is small but somewhat private. My only big issue is this is the only Chipotle in Langley and it's located in such a horrible place by the highway. If they opened another in Walnut Grove or Willoughby I'm sure they'd have more customers. The employees are nice but they don't give you big portions. I always have to ask for some more because the portions they provide are at most 3/4 of what I receive in Vancouver. read more

Oh boy, I'm excited to write this review! First off let me say that if you have never been to a Chipotle location before, please go and give it a try! The portions here are massive, and despite some people saying that the food can get a little bit fattening/high in calories, but good post-workout meals can definitely be achieved here as well! Make sure you take a look through their nutrition sheets and you'll be able to find ways to eat delicious Chipotle food while staying clean. My go-to is the browl-rice bowl! I like Chipotle's food but the interior in this new location is the worst ever. It has a very small seating area so the tables are crammed up against the ordering line up. Basically you eating at most a couple of feet away from people waiting to order, or you have to sit on the very narrow bar seating (again, right on the path everyone is walking along to order. Mucho Burrito a couple blocks away has very similar food (+ beer) but a *much* better seating layout. If you are doing take out, then no problem, but overall this location is too small and poorly designed. read more

As with all the Chipotle spots we have been to, this new location in Langley does not disappoint. No matter what Chipotle we have eaten at - Arizona, Washington, California, Surrey, Vancouver, or Langley, the food and service is EXACTLY the same. Quite mind blowing actually. Even restaurants with one location have inconsistency in flavours and quality in service. With this Langley location only being open for a few days, we received service and food in the same exact way we did in a high volume Chipotle in Arizona that has been open for years! How the hell do they do it?? The fast moving line ups never stop, nor do the employee's smiles. How many times have you been to a Subway, or a Mucho Burrito, or any other restaurant just to have some poor, sorry looking sap slap your sandwich or taco together? A lot of these places can learn a thing or two from Chipotle. The only negative I can give this Chipotle is that they didn't open up in a closer spot to my home! Unfortunately, they are in a plaza that caters to specific shopping needs. Well worth battling Langley's major intersections for...just wish one would open in East Langley. Soon? C'mon! I've been to this Chipotle at least a dozen times since they've opened and it's been delicious every time. I like the spices on their chicken, and they are so busy that it is freshly made. Their chips with lime juice and sea salt are yummy - a bit too yummy. I haven't had any issues with the service but sometimes it takes awhile to get through the line. They've added more devices for payment, so that helps. Most recently I ordered online and spent 15 min wandering in a nearby store rather than waiting in line. My food was ready at the time I selected. read more

Slow and rude. They accidentally put an extra taco in my kids menu. It took the cashier forever to explain this to the trainee and then punch it in as waste and throw it away in front of us. They were frustratingly slow, had no kids plates and had no bags of kids chips so sent us off to wait while they scooped them. One would think this would be a fast process. It was not. Long time returning customer, over 5 years a regular. In the last year I've noticed a large drop in quality and it's not the product that's the problem it's the staff your hiring, many seem to be incompetent compared to previous employees. Today I watched 4 people stare at 1 screen while they all failed to complete my order. My friend asked "to go" many times and they continued to make it for here and then upon asking again at the register and not getting a response asked for a bag so she could do it herself. Every time I am now asked the same questions many times and am frequently met with underwhelming portions, I don't appreciate a business that I've been supporting for years starting to cheap out on me while they also slowly increase the prices. I'm not sure if employees now don't understand English as well or if it's just lack of enthusiasm or poor training but I'm not gonna stand for it read more

Ordered three salad bowls, and all tasted like mold. Dug through it and saw that the lettuce was black and slimy. Such a disappointment after spending $40 :( Update: first manager I had talked to was very polite and after showing photos of the meal gave me a refund. Was very happy with how she handled it. ..... Until 6:53 tonight after missed phone calls from them I called back, the night manager basically told me I was lying, nice. It's definitely California Mex and not authentico Mex which doesn't make it bad just not what you may be expecting. The actual quality of the ingredients is very high and I personally love the cruelty free sources. The menu is VERY limited but it's decent value as for just under $9 you get a very hefty burrito with lots of healthy ingredients. It certainly doesn't have the vibe of a Mexican place with the salsa music etc. in fact the decor is very sterile but if you're looking for a quick healthy meal it's worth checking out. read more

Went into the Langley location at noon today. I have never been to a chipotle before. I was the second one in line. I asked if they had any vegan options. The young man told me all the options so I picked a vegan burrito. I stood back and watched him and the other employees serve the people behind me. Where was my burrito, I asked. Apparently never got made. An employee started making mine finally, and asked me what kind of meat I wanted. Training tip management; If offering vegan options, make sure your employees know the definition of "vegan.". Oh, I case you care, I walked out without my burrito. read more
