We ordered a platter of 12 Taco's to go for pick up at 5pm. Unfortunately when we got there the staff were busy as they were catering for a wedding. They informed us that it would only be a couple of minutes. A mistake was made for the wedding, which pushed back our order. A male worker, I believe was the manager/owner treated us very nicely and apologised for the delay. As we sat down to wait for our order. 10mins had passed and Manpreet came out and apologised for the delay and had explained the whole situation to us. She was very nice and very considerate, we had only waited 10-15mins and she was treating us like VIP's. Excellent service in my books. Not only did they have good service but the food tasted amazing. So I felt it was money well spent and the wait wasn't even long. 10 out of 10 I would recommend, and would order here again. Streats is a cute little restaurant in the neighbourhood mall, Willoughby BC. The staff are super friends and they seem to have a loyal following of customers. Not to nention they were super busy with door dash orders pickup while we were there eating. I have the peri peri bowl which was pretty tasty. My partner had the shrimp taco with a fish taco all pretty good, I think he actually perfected the shrimp ones with a mango chutney. All in all a good place to go for a quick meal when you're not wanting to cook. read more

So Streats ain't bad... but it's like an appetizer or snack outfit and that's about it. Everything they serve packs a punch of flavour and calories, but it seems like everything is also unsatisfyingly small. At $5.50 for a taco, you would hope that two would be enough for a 10 years old child... but mine was still a little hungry afterwards. The poutines comes in 3 sizes. We expected the $11 large ones to be meal sized, especially with all the toppings they come with. But they really weren't very big. The toppings were actually quite scant too. Not many curds, just a bit of gravy, etc. My daughter had a perogy poutine which comes with 4 measly tiny miniperogies on top; more a garnish than a topping. And the server accidentally spilled one off the dish when bagging it so she just tossed it in the garbage anyways. So we ended up with even less token perogy. We'll probably come back when we want another junk food type of takeout treat... but it will either be for a snack or it will have a supplement. read more

I've been here before a couple times to try tacos which are decent but this time I had my mind set on the new Smashburger. So we each ordered one along with poutine to share. Received the poutine first, it was hot and fresh! I liked the fries and gravy but they were skimpy on the cheese as well as the amount of fries as it should fill the container. Then about 5 minutes or so later came the Smashburgers which at first glance appeared somewhat greasy kind of reminding me of Wendy's. The first few bites all I could taste was greasy melted cheap Kraft slice like cheese and a too tangy sauce which I determined was derived from ketchup and mayo with a hint of horseradish. I found a piece of the meat only so I took it off and ate it but it didn't have much flavour. The next bites tasted very salty so that was a disappointment. For $10 there are way better places for a tasty burger so they should either hone up the burger by properly seasoning then putting veggies on with a better concoction of sauce not smothering it with cheap cheese slices and sauce that doesn't enhance. Perhaps sticking to tacos and burritos would be more beneficial. read more

On a cool summers day, my father ordered takeout here, in consideration of my hunger after my schooling. I sat in anticipation as he goes in to pickup his order. He comes back into the car with a $11 burger he got for me. As I held the 25 cent paper bag in my hand and happily opened it, and to my astonishment there were no fries. In my naivety I believed the burger would make up for it. I carefully unwrapped the foil and saw the burger in all its glory, or should I say in all its simplicity because for 11$ this burger looked worse than McDonals. However in my hunger I quickly consumed the thing; let me remember the ingredients: a pair of hamburger buns, one piece dry ass beef patty, two slices of cheap American cheese, and a hint of ketchup in the middle. There were no tomato slices, no lettuce, nor were there other condiments. This thing was a piece of shit! For $11 any respectable human being would expect better. I advise you to not get a burger from this place, in fact avoid STReats entirely. Consider this: if STReats serves this unsatisfactory food item, what do you expect from their other options too? Fish taco was greasy and expensive and not flavourful at all! So small for $5.95 won't be coming back....warn all your friends I sure will... then the kicker they charge $3.00 for bottled water, I heard from others it wasn't good so I should have listened to the reviews..... also a big one...... the staff looked like the owners were so rude! This taco joint is watered down corporate "tacos". It's like the McDonalds of the tacosphere. Are they serve tacos? I guess. Are they street style tacos? Yeah, except no. Hahaha. Nothing authentic here, from the food to the decor to the design of the store. Bland, corporate, inauthentic tacos that maybe 17 year olds would think are good. Better than nothing. But that's about it. Tacofino is miles away in quality etc than this place. Would not recommend. Service etc was fine. Just the food/decor/vibe that is meh. read more

My first visit with my fiancé today, and food was less than desirable. I had the kids meal fish & chips, which was nothing to die for. My fiancé had the regular size chicken and waffle poutine which was pretty bad.... the syrup gravy combo was so so thin and runny. The waffle was cold and tough, chicken was cold, and barely any cheese. Also, i didn't like the fact that it was crammed into a small to go container. Would much rather have had a bowl. The girl who took our order was great, but the girl that delivered our order to our table literally dropped it and flew off without saying anything. A friend and I checked this place out today. The inside is nice and clean. I believe it's a newer place. We waited about 18 minutes for our food. Service was friendly and helpful. The food was just okay, if you want to grab a quick bite - do check it out. We got the fish taco grilled and the bhan mi pork taco. We specified a dairy allergy and they labeled it correctly. We ended up getting our food to go because we were in a hurry! They have more than just tacos on the menu - they also have poutines. read more

Bad, bad, not good. Burrito was huge but lacked flavour on an extreme level. Was one of the most bland foods I have ever eaten. Poutine was the opposite - passable I guess, but too rich and salty for me. Not worth the long wait and price. read more

This streats location is in a great spot with lots of parking everywhere and the plaza has a lot more other businesses. Going to streats is always a treat. Food is good and they even have BEER. Great service. Must check out!!!!! read more

Never again. I will never eat coleslaw, beans with pulled pork, pretending to be a burrito again. The poutine that came with the drink was the size of a camera film container , (the size of a small aspirin bottle for millennials). All that with a 10 minute wait when there was no lineup. read more
