Not only is the service great, the food that is delivered is really good. My team won a company contest and chosed White Spot to order our lunch celebration from. I ordered a salmon burger from Skip the Dishes and for the cost of ordering a combo (burger, side, and drink) on the White Spot website, Skip the Dishes charge the same for just a burger and a side. My order was taped entirely shut and took awhile to open. It was a bit overkill but appreciate being Covid safe. Salmon burger arrived warm and was a decent sized and as delicious as I remember it from the restaurant (it's been over a year). The salad dressing was particularly delicious. The salmon burger patty was an actual filet and larger than I remember it to be. Miss White Spot burgers but recommend ordering from the White Spot restaurant directly, if you can go yourself to do pick up. read more

I went here with my family on June 29th and the experience was satisfying. We ordered Clubhouse ($15.99), Seafood fettuccine ($19.99) and Full-Rack of Ribs ($26.49) to share and the food was great. Clubhouse and Seafood Fettuccine were pretty good we all liked it. Ribs didn't have much meat, but had more bones and the meats were kind of dry. Fries were good. Service was fast and friendly. White Spot is definitely the place for family dinner. It also has plentiful of seating spaces and the restaurant is clean as well. My out of town guests had to have their White Spot fix within 24 hours of arriving. Their standard go to was the fish & chips with yam fries instead. The portion was decent and the fish was cooked to perfection without too much batter. The other dishes were the salmon burger wrapped in lettuce with bottomless fries and regular burger. Changes are being made to the menu and not in the favour of the customer. My family and I frequent this White Spot a lot. We each have a favourite from White Spot that we order almost every time. This time was no different. One really nice thing was as we approached the door, the manager opened it from the inside for us to walk in. I really liked that. Service from wait staff is just as pleasant and friendly. It wasn't busy time, so we were seated immediately. We ordered our usual Hot Wings, appy hour Dry Ribs and shared a Chicken Caesar. When the wings and ribs were first brought out ... I had to do a double take. The serving size of the wings was half the usual size. I called the waiter over, and asked if a mistake was made with the wings, that it was half the usual size and had no vegetable accompaniments. Our waiter explained that they recently made changes to the menu, serving portions are now smaller and items that once came with "extras" on the side (such as carrot sticks or celery sticks) are now plated without the extras coming with it. My next question was the price. Prices are now a little higher or the have stayed the same for a smaller portion. I have enclosed a picture that shows the bones of the wings (sorry, it was an after thought to post the photo, so I only have pics of the bones to show you) The wings went from a serving of a dozen wings, with carrots/celery and dip to just 8 wings and dip. Even the flavour changed. It was supposed to be Buffalo Hot Wings ... instead it was more like oven warmed Humming bird size wings. I left the fork in the picture for reference. What saved them from a 1-star rating was the great service and comfortable surroundings. read more

Who would've guessed there was a White Spot tucked away in the far end of the parking lot. I always thought it was bushes or some ditch back here. Parking is available in the large strip mall lot. The interior has a very high ceiling, which gives the place a spacious feel. Staff were friendly. No complaints. The Tuscan chicken pasta I had was actually quite good. The chicken was tender, and the portion size was fairly decent. The garlic bread is a bit unusual. Not sure if they're using a different type of bread. Not a bad place to check out. My hubby Had full rack of ribs with salad and coffee; -- the ribs are too dried and tasteless -- salad is not enough dressing -- coffee is water down -- my hubby don't like his lunch i had fish and chips with zucchini stick and pumpkin pie milk shake --- I paid $2.99 extra from fries to zucchini stick.. at least 12 pieces. --- I like my deep fried fish and zucchini sticks, they all fresh, hot and crispy. -- Too big for me, I gave 1 piece of fish and 3 pieces of zucchini for my hubby to try. I still got 6 pieces of zucchini stick packed to go. -- maybe by the time i drank half glass of pumpkin pie milk shake , half full already. But the shake was too sweet for me. Can't go wrong with White Spot. Been going here for over 10 years. Take out was also a life saver during the first couple years of the pandemic. Nothing picks my spirits up more after a long week at work than getting a good old burger here. Love their Granville Island Brewing Nat Bailey Lager too. Place was packed at lunch time, however the server and host were very understandable and nice despite the crowd. This place is kid friendly and has enough space for very large groups. Came here for dinner tonight and it was busy but we got a table pretty quickly. The server was super nice and service was good. We brought 2 bottles of wine and corkage fee was $10. Super! We dialed it up and brought a decent CDP wine and the server seemed impressed. We orders 3 appies and 4 entrees. Food was average - nothing spectacular but what you would expect for White Spot. It's our 5th time here at White Spot at this location and this is the best White Spot location! We love the servers the place is clean as well. Location is very convenient as well. The price in my opinion is very reasonable. The Happy Hour appetizers for only $6 is the best as well. We always order their Nat's Crispy Ribs with Whiskey BBQ sauce and also a separate order of the sesame Hoisin Sauce! Really yummy! I can eat two orders of their crispy ribs.The portion was good too. We also ordered the Chicken Curry Broccoli and Cheese with their really good Caesar Salad on the side and comes with Jasmine rice. Really yummy! When moving to BC as a pre-teen, I always thought White Spot was a little cult-ish amongst British Colombians and a bit overrated. Flash forward nearly two decades, and White Spot definitely grew on me. I still think their attempts of 'ethinic' food, such as pasta and stir fry dishes are best avoided, but they're a very reliable place for good burgers, great (bottomless) fresh-cut fries, shakes, breakfast items and a few other things. Their beer on-tap is almost a bit hidden treasure as their selection of Nat's beers is made by Granville Island Brewing. It's often on special, and much cheaper than you'd find at most bars, and much better than other family restaurants such as Swiss Challet. This location in particular did a great job of their decor, really bringing in a lot of natural light and having a genuine BC vibe with its touches. White Spot isn't the pinnacle of the food world, or even burgers, but it's a very solid and reliable option - and better than most of its competition in the same price range. I'm a fan of White Spot restaurants. They are kid friendly and a Canadian chain. This one in particular always has parking, attentive staff and located in a plaza for me to do my grocery shopping after. I had the Shrimp Florentine Benedict, which has English muffin topped with sautéed spinach, baby shrimp, two poached eggs with hollandaise & fresh dill. For a while (before Covid) it seemed quality and service were really decreasing , but lunch was great and we had a great spot isolated from the next table. This is a great brunch or lunch spot with a huge menu full of options of every kind. There is plenty of seating and very friendly service. Fish and chips were delicious. The cod was perfectly breaded and light. The spinach and artichoke with chicken quesadillas are also a must try from the menu, we ate every last bite! This is a great White Spot location. It's bright and clean and there's always lots of parking available. I've never had to wait too long for a table and service has always been quick and attentive. I still miss the chicken puff pastry (which was discontinued a couple of years ago in favour of the current chicken pot pie [not recommended]) and the Puerto Vallarta salad (yes, I'm old school, I doubt anyone else remembers it) but the burgers are good (albeit slightly over priced). I also like that they have interesting feature items that change seasonally. Lately my favourite White Spot dishes have been the Dippin' Chicken (chicken strips) with the Spot's Salad (a garden salad with tomato basil salsa, cranberries, sunflower seeds, and pumpkin seeds with honey sherry dressing) and the Bacon Cheddar Bigger Burger. I also really enjoy White Spot's coleslaw. I really appreciate the attentiveness of the servers; my water glass is never empty for long. This is definitely my favourite White Spot. read more

I don't know why, but I have always really enjoyed White Spot. From pirate packs to triple o burgers... This chain has been a BC staple for as long as I've been dining out with my parents. The service at this location has always been great, food served promptly with a smile. My mom and I really enjoy coming here for a quick and easy brunch on the weekends. We've never waited more than 10 minutes for a table, to boot. The staff is polite and the servers work for their tip, which is always nice to see! What lost a star for me though, is the food quality. Sometimes, the dishes are brought right away and are tasty. Burgers are well seasoned, fish and chips perfectly battered - the plates look exactly like the ones from the menu! However, once we had to flag down our server twice to ask her to check on our burgers. I have a feeling they just plum forgot and when the plates arrived the burgers were sloppy. Needless to say we weren't impressed. We mentioned our displeasure to our server who was more than happy to adjust our bill to compensate for the slow order and careless presentation (after all, you eat with your eyes first!). Since my very first time in the big city in the '50s and visits to White Spot on W Georgia and way out in Marpole, they have always been a regular, especially when the kids were growing up. The last few times, because I have always been a fan, I overlooked some things at various locations; a busted seat that allowed my two year old grandson to crash to the floor, people seated after us served before us, meals brought out at spaces where some finished before others were served. The final bill and sorting it out, was a whole other story. 4 adults and one child. No one was impressed with any element of this location, the service or meals and I have never been served a more pathetic eggs benny anywhere. I don't remember what they cost and that they don't publish prices online is another strike against White Spot. Anyway, two eggs ($0.20), a muffin ($0.10) some sauce and a bit of ham or back bacon. No garnish, no potatoes, nothing. Maybe a bucks worth total. All egg dishes were asked for soft, all were hard. Sorry White Spot, this location has lost me and I will be saying goodbye altogether if my next experience is as lacklustre as this one.
