When you get a craving for breakfast late afternoon! Consistent taste in food and free parking in a lot. First time eating at this location and like all White Spot places, spacious interior with clean tables and fast service. Something a little different. I noticed that I enjoyed my Nat's Hearty breakfast a bit more at this location. Eggs were solid, bacon was a bit more and crispy, and really like the shoestring fries. read more

White Spot - Burgers Near Me - Burnaby, British Columbia

White spot is a perfect place to go to have a good time with your family. It's always the place I would want to go for an enjoyable time. Not only is the service great, the food that is delivered is really good. I always prefer getting the hamburgers, as they might not seem appealing towards one, but in my eyes will always be the most delectable item on their menu. White Spot is great with handling children too! If you have any children you'd like to bring along, White Spot keeps them busy with a coloring sheet, and some puzzles! Not only will they be having fun whilst coloring, yet when their food is delivered. The food is given to children on a cardboard pirate ship! And your child could look around the pirate ship and they'll find a chocolate coin! I love White Spot, and it will always be my go to restaurant. read more

My team won a company contest and chosed White Spot to order our lunch celebration from. I ordered a salmon burger from Skip the Dishes and for the cost of ordering a combo (burger, side, and drink) on the White Spot website, Skip the Dishes charge the same for just a burger and a side. My order was taped entirely shut and took awhile to open. It was a bit overkill but appreciate being Covid safe. Salmon burger arrived warm and was a decent sized and as delicious as I remember it from the restaurant (it's been over a year). The salad dressing was particularly delicious. The salmon burger patty was an actual filet and larger than I remember it to be. Miss White Spot burgers but recommend ordering from the White Spot restaurant directly, if you can go yourself to do pick up. read more

White Spot - We had a family dinner and the service and food was amazing - Burgers Near Me - Burnaby, British Columbia

I went here with my family on June 29th and the experience was satisfying. We ordered Clubhouse ($15.99), Seafood fettuccine ($19.99) and Full-Rack of Ribs ($26.49) to share and the food was great. Clubhouse and Seafood Fettuccine were pretty good we all liked it. Ribs didn't have much meat, but had more bones and the meats were kind of dry. Fries were good. Service was fast and friendly. White Spot is definitely the place for family dinner. It also has plentiful of seating spaces and the restaurant is clean as well. I like bottomless fries and milkshakes refill (not sure if they still have this). My friend C and I used to be a milkshake addict whenever we went to White Spot. read more

My out of town guests had to have their White Spot fix within 24 hours of arriving. Their standard go to was the fish & chips with yam fries instead. The portion was decent and the fish was cooked to perfection without too much batter. The other dishes were the salmon burger wrapped in lettuce with bottomless fries and regular burger. Overall, everyone enjoyed their food, service was excellent and prices were decent. They'll be back for their next fix! read more

Our favourite breakfast spot. Great food, generous portions, fast service and comfortable atmosphere.

Changes are being made to the menu and not in the favour of the customer. My family and I frequent this White Spot a lot. We each have a favourite from White Spot that we order almost every time. This time was no different. One really nice thing was as we approached the door, the manager opened it from the inside for us to walk in. I really liked that. Service from wait staff is just as pleasant and friendly. It wasn't busy time, so we were seated immediately. We ordered our usual Hot Wings, appy hour Dry Ribs and shared a Chicken Caesar. When the wings and ribs were first brought out ... I had to do a double take. The serving size of the wings was half the usual size. I called the waiter over, and asked if a mistake was made with the wings, that it was half the usual size and had no vegetable accompaniments. Our waiter explained that they recently made changes to the menu, serving portions are now smaller and items that once came with "extras" on the side (such as carrot sticks or celery sticks) are now plated without the extras coming with it. My next question was the price. Prices are now a little higher or the have stayed the same for a smaller portion. I have enclosed a picture that shows the bones of the wings (sorry, it was an after thought to post the photo, so I only have pics of the bones to show you) The wings went from a serving of a dozen wings, with carrots/celery and dip to just 8 wings and dip. Even the flavour changed. It was supposed to be Buffalo Hot Wings ... instead it was more like oven warmed Humming bird size wings. I left the fork in the picture for reference. What saved them from a 1-star rating was the great service and comfortable surroundings. read more

Who would've guessed there was a White Spot tucked away in the far end of the parking lot. I always thought it was bushes or some ditch back here. Parking is available in the large strip mall lot. The interior has a very high ceiling, which gives the place a spacious feel. Staff were friendly. No complaints. The Tuscan chicken pasta I had was actually quite good. The chicken was tender, and the portion size was fairly decent. The garlic bread is a bit unusual. Not sure if they're using a different type of bread. Not a bad place to check out. One just has to find the place in the parking lot. read more

November, 1, 2020 lunch @3 p.m with hubby. I didn't go to white spots at least 10 years. My hubby Had full rack of ribs with salad and coffee; -- the ribs are too dried and tasteless -- salad is not enough dressing -- coffee is water down -- my hubby don't like his lunch i had fish and chips with zucchini stick and pumpkin pie milk shake --- I paid $2.99 extra from fries to zucchini stick.. at least 12 pieces. --- I like my deep fried fish and zucchini sticks, they all fresh, hot and crispy. -- Too big for me, I gave 1 piece of fish and 3 pieces of zucchini for my hubby to try. I still got 6 pieces of zucchini stick packed to go. -- maybe by the time i drank half glass of pumpkin pie milk shake , half full already. But the shake was too sweet for me. Need to pack to go too.. We are extremely full now. Friendly, good and fast services. read more

Can't go wrong with White Spot. Been going here for over 10 years. Take out was also a life saver during the first couple years of the pandemic. Nothing picks my spirits up more after a long week at work than getting a good old burger here. Love their Granville Island Brewing Nat Bailey Lager too. Only wish you get more fries when doing take out but that's probably a good thing for my heart and stomach! Staff are always friendly and attentive. read more

Check-in was horrible. They tell you 20 minutes it goes to 30 minutes plus. I ordered the monte mushroom burger with fries. There was literally a tablespoon of coleslaw on the plate. The fries were dry and definitely were not fresh.. the burger patty was dry and not juicy. White spot has definitely gone downhill with the price. I suggest you try other restaurants. read more

Solid as usual. Huge stand alone, like the high ceilings. Nothing extraordinary nor bad. Monty burgers and chicken pot pie are my go-to's. read more

Nice place. Good parking. Decent service. Small portion on food Don't like how to have to pay extra for coffee most playoff coffee is free with their brunch Food is not all that great to be honest though The boat meals for the kids - terrible portion of fruits and pasta read more

Place was packed at lunch time, however the server and host were very understandable and nice despite the crowd. This place is kid friendly and has enough space for very large groups. Now the food, all I can say is this has the most delicious burger I tasted this year. It was juicy not dry, the sauce and flavours just mixed well. Will come back here for sure! read more

White Spot - Burgers Near Me - Burnaby, British Columbia

Our family has been going to the White Spot for years, always enjoying its friendly and efficient service, good food and clean surroundings. However, lately I for one cannot afford their prices! Don't know if it's a supply issue or what, but having to pay over $20 plus the trip for a burger combo meal is way over budget for me. Too bad I can't afford to go back. Patti G read more

Surprised reventing themselves to cater to today's crowd, A+. The food is outstanding and the marketing matches. I have not been in a long while and I would most definately go back! Salads are fantastic and I understand if you order fries with your meal, they are non-stop fries, or neverending fries, so if you want more fries you get more fries and only pay for them once. Don't quote me on that. I love this place! Can't wait to go back! read more

DO NOT order the Mexicali Fish Tacos! They are the worst I've ever had! They were sooo small! They were literally the width of my finger, so sad! It was all batter that was dark in colour; they gotta change the frying oil or something?! I should have cut one in half and taken a photo . My kids had the pirate pack fish and chips that looked way better. Why couldn't have they put the fish from the kids' menu into the fish tacos?? I had to order something else to fill me. The bottomless fries were good, but not good for my health . So I ordered the shrimp gyoza ( $6, since it was after 8 pm) which made up for the terrible fish tacos. read more

Came here for dinner tonight and it was busy but we got a table pretty quickly. The server was super nice and service was good. We brought 2 bottles of wine and corkage fee was $10. Super! We dialed it up and brought a decent CDP wine and the server seemed impressed. We orders 3 appies and 4 entrees. Food was average - nothing spectacular but what you would expect for White Spot. The manager was very attentive and seemed to show up at our table when we needed something. Enjoyed the night. Even though food was mediocre the service was pretty good. I also picked up free wifi too which was a bonus read more

It's our 5th time here at White Spot at this location and this is the best White Spot location! We love the servers the place is clean as well. Location is very convenient as well. The price in my opinion is very reasonable. The Happy Hour appetizers for only $6 is the best as well. We always order their Nat's Crispy Ribs with Whiskey BBQ sauce and also a separate order of the sesame Hoisin Sauce! Really yummy! I can eat two orders of their crispy ribs. The portion was good too. We also ordered the Chicken Curry Broccoli and Cheese with their really good Caesar Salad on the side and comes with Jasmine rice. Really yummy! The Curry is my favourite food there. :) Their bacon beets burger was also very yummy. Will definitely go back here for sure! read more

Waited a good 10 - 15 minutes on a drenching Sunday evening for a table, but at least we're seated right by the window. Notables: the wings and chocolate milkshake. Granted deep-fried items are pretty hard to mess up, but the shake was really creamy. Definitely hit the spot. Everything else was, well, typical WS fare. There's really nothing special about their current 'fall harvest' feature sheet other than perhaps the turkey drumstick. I mean, why feature ribs on your seasonal menu when they're available anytime, all the time? read more

I'm a fan of White Spot restaurants. They are kid friendly and a Canadian chain. This one in particular always has parking, attentive staff and located in a plaza for me to do my grocery shopping after. I had the Shrimp Florentine Benedict, which has English muffin topped with sautéed spinach, baby shrimp, two poached eggs with hollandaise & fresh dill. I dug in right away because I was so hungry and forgot to take a picture. It's definitely one of the better brunch items here. read more

When moving to BC as a pre-teen, I always thought White Spot was a little cult-ish amongst British Colombians and a bit overrated. Flash forward nearly two decades, and White Spot definitely grew on me. I still think their attempts of 'ethinic' food, such as pasta and stir fry dishes are best avoided, but they're a very reliable place for good burgers, great (bottomless) fresh-cut fries, shakes, breakfast items and a few other things. Their beer on-tap is almost a bit hidden treasure as their selection of Nat's beers is made by Granville Island Brewing. It's often on special, and much cheaper than you'd find at most bars, and much better than other family restaurants such as Swiss Challet. This location in particular did a great job of their decor, really bringing in a lot of natural light and having a genuine BC vibe with its touches. White Spot isn't the pinnacle of the food world, or even burgers, but it's a very solid and reliable option - and better than most of its competition in the same price range. Now, having moved away from BC again, I can understand the local love and pride of this institution. read more

I like that I can order a half-benny. And that it's a solid traditional benny. Don't love the rest of the menu

One word. Mediocre. For a 20 minute wait at the door, I expected a lot more bang for the buck here. I'm watching my calories, so I ordered the cauliflower and chick peas curry. When they brought it to my table it lacked a lot of love. In fact, it looked like microwave food just dumped on my plate. While the taste was ok, it was half way between a tomato sauce and a curry sauce. Very strange. My son had a burger and sweet potato fries. Fries were blah and a bit soggy. My wife's salad for her burger dish tasted strange, so she had them bring another fresh salad which was better. Service was good. Overall, won't come back again to this location. read more

We were surprised that service went so smoothly and the burgers and fries were delicious. For a while (before Covid) it seemed quality and service were really decreasing , but lunch was great and we had a great spot isolated from the next table. This is a great brunch or lunch spot with a huge menu full of options of every kind. There is plenty of seating and very friendly service. Fish and chips were delicious. The cod was perfectly breaded and light. The spinach and artichoke with chicken quesadillas are also a must try from the menu, we ate every last bite! Everything was good, except for the salmon, it was very fishy. read more

This is a great White Spot location. It's bright and clean and there's always lots of parking available. I've never had to wait too long for a table and service has always been quick and attentive. I still miss the chicken puff pastry (which was discontinued a couple of years ago in favour of the current chicken pot pie [not recommended]) and the Puerto Vallarta salad (yes, I'm old school, I doubt anyone else remembers it) but the burgers are good (albeit slightly over priced). I also like that they have interesting feature items that change seasonally. Lately my favourite White Spot dishes have been the Dippin' Chicken (chicken strips) with the Spot's Salad (a garden salad with tomato basil salsa, cranberries, sunflower seeds, and pumpkin seeds with honey sherry dressing) and the Bacon Cheddar Bigger Burger. I also really enjoy White Spot's coleslaw. I really appreciate the attentiveness of the servers; my water glass is never empty for long. This is definitely my favourite White Spot. read more

Pretty consistent, a west coast tradition How can you not like White Spot. It's a West Coast tradition. Everything from great burgers to rice bowls and stir fries, or if you like even traditional turkey dinner. It's a chain that you won't find many places outside of British Columbia, and if you are looking for consistently tasty, reasonably fast food that won't break your budget, it's a reasonable option. read more

The food is always fresh, hot and accurate (I order in a lot) and the MC staff is the best, most courteous and hard-working. I don't know why, but I have always really enjoyed White Spot. From pirate packs to triple o burgers... This chain has been a BC staple for as long as I've been dining out with my parents. The service at this location has always been great, food served promptly with a smile. My mom and I really enjoy coming here for a quick and easy brunch on the weekends. We've never waited more than 10 minutes for a table, to boot. The staff is polite and the servers work for their tip, which is always nice to see! What lost a star for me though, is the food quality. Sometimes, the dishes are brought right away and are tasty. Burgers are well seasoned, fish and chips perfectly battered - the plates look exactly like the ones from the menu! However, once we had to flag down our server twice to ask her to check on our burgers. I have a feeling they just plum forgot and when the plates arrived the burgers were sloppy. Needless to say we weren't impressed. We mentioned our displeasure to our server who was more than happy to adjust our bill to compensate for the slow order and careless presentation (after all, you eat with your eyes first!). Thanks Nat, for making a great place for a good bite to eat! read more

If you are sensitive to MSG, avoid this place at all cost! Just came back after I had pan seared halibut with shrimp and got a massive headache, that I usually get only after MSG poisoning. I can guarantee that wasn't the only meal that had it. Will not be going back again. read more

The service is really slow here, all different times of day/throughout the week. Large location with a nice lounge area so you can escape the screaming running wild children! Hubs and I come here to watch the game as its close to home. Food often takes a really long time and arrives on plates too hot to touch (sits around forever!) Now that I pen this review I realize I should try harder to find somewhere better to watch the game! lol read more

MEATS: Beef steaks were tender and succulent. POTATOES: "Smashed" means that potato skins were mashed in, did not enjoy. Only other option: French fries. Why no fresh, boiled potatoes? VEGETABLES: Only thing served was grilled broccoli . It was dry, hard, and not very tasty. Why not steam them and provide a wider variety of vegetables, particularly in-season ones? SERVICE: Quite reasonable. NOISE LEVEL: Will turn noisy music down if requested. read more

I always come back to enjoy White Spot while I am in town, this location is possibly their best restaurant. Parking is good here and the service excellent. The place feels like a nice golf restaurant. The food at this location seems better than other locations I've been to in the city. I can't explain it, but even the burgers seem better or fresher. I'll be back to this location soon! read more
