Now, management is outsourced to a large national company (to see this, click "about us/career opportunities" on their website). They raise their rates frequently and charge extra for insurance, unless you buy and document your own, separate from your homeowner's insurance. There is no one on site; it can feel kind of scary. The former handcart space is now taken up by a couple more money-making units. The new management was very unresponsive at first. After they took over, I left multiple phone messages and emails about some door locks that weren't working right, but could never talk to anyone and never got a response. Recently, it's easier to reach a human by phone, but they are far away and they don't know anything about your site. Unfortunately, this outfit seem to be the only game in town if you need a climate-controlled unit. I guess I can say that it's pretty clean, the systems seem to work, and I haven't heard of any break-ins.

I rented a storage unit from them for a month and after I had moved my stuff out I found a zero debit from them against my checking account. I suspect, though I can't prove, that they would have just charged me another month w/out contacting me or checking to see if the unit was empty. If not, why the new debit, especially since I had told them I was only renting for one month? As I said, some staff people are VERY rude, for example, pointing at people as if they were dogs to tell them where to stand in the office. Not coming back here.

We kept our couch in a unit for four days past one month (which was very reasonably priced, cheapest in the area I could find). I offered to pay at least a little bit for those four days - he told me no worries, I was taken off the books, just payment for that first month was enough. Very friendly staff, very responsive, and the hours of availability for the unit is great. I had people coming to look at the couch on Sunday afternoon, Thursday evening - not a problem. The facility is gated past a certain time but an easy to use key pad code gets you in. I'd definitely recommend Stadium Storage!

Boomerang actually charged *less* than what all those delivery services were asking for, and of course they did a careful, professional job, because they actually know how to move furniture. Nathan and Christian got these extra-tall bookcases down a curving flight of stairs, around tight corners in a narrow hallway, through the doorways and into their places without putting a scratch on either the bookcases or the walls. Moral of the story: Even if you just need to move a few pieces, hire professional movers -- specifically, hire Boomerang!

I've stored my belongings there for over a year, but started having problems with my credit card on file when I paid them down by $6000. The card company then lowered my credit limit to the amount left on balance. So, every time IStorage tried to use the card, the charge was declined. This month was something special though. I called on 7/3 to make sure the payment went through and everyone was on holiday, so I left a message asking but also that I assumed it did because I hadn't heard otherwise. On 7/8 I got an email that the payment was late. I didn't see the email till the 11th, called, but they are closed on Saturdays. Called again on the 13th and spoke with two individuals that firmly declined my payment unless I pay the $50 late fee. Time to move? Yes.

I booked my appointment vía Yelp and received a confirmation within 24 hours. About 10 days later, when it became apparent that we weren't going to be ready on our original moving day, I called and asked to reschedule. Ethan accommodated me immediately and sent me a second confirmation without any hesitation. On the day of our move the gigantic truck rolled up 15 minutes ahead of schedule and the guys got to work! And damn, did they work HARD! I was only 95% ready for them so I kept packing up the last minute things while they hauled ass up and down the flight of stairs to our second floor apartment. They took one 15 minute break (No complaints from me! They deserved that, and more!) and then went back to work. At the end of FOUR HOURS the truck was packed and we were off to the new location. The guys grabbed an incredibly fast lunch in between places and were back on the job in less time than it took for Ethan to park the truck where he wanted it and have a look around. They worked for THREE MORE HOURS - again, up and down the stairs - and even took the time to make sure our boxes got to the right rooms. The whole time they worked I didn't hear a single complaint; not even an annoyed look or tone of voice. If they complained behind our backs...WHO CARES?! They kept every interaction professional and pleasant. (If our positions had been reversed I'd have been crying the whole day because I'm weak and old! ) The whole experience was great, from beginning to end. When it was done I felt like my "thank you so much" didn't even begin to express the extent of our gratitude for the amazing job they did. The final price was reasonable and we chose to tip each guy $30 for their exceptional work. In talking to someone later, I discovered that it's not typical to tip movers and all I can say is WHY NOT?! They're working their butts off and I could never have done the move without them!
