Now, management is outsourced to a large national company (to see this, click "about us/career opportunities" on their website). They raise their rates frequently and charge extra for insurance, unless you buy and document your own, separate from your homeowner's insurance. There is no one on site; it can feel kind of scary. The former handcart space is now taken up by a couple more money-making units. The new management was very unresponsive at first. After they took over, I left multiple phone messages and emails about some door locks that weren't working right, but could never talk to anyone and never got a response. Recently, it's easier to reach a human by phone, but they are far away and they don't know anything about your site. Unfortunately, this outfit seem to be the only game in town if you need a climate-controlled unit. I guess I can say that it's pretty clean, the systems seem to work, and I haven't heard of any break-ins.

I rented a storage unit from them for a month and after I had moved my stuff out I found a zero debit from them against my checking account. I suspect, though I can't prove, that they would have just charged me another month w/out contacting me or checking to see if the unit was empty. If not, why the new debit, especially since I had told them I was only renting for one month? As I said, some staff people are VERY rude, for example, pointing at people as if they were dogs to tell them where to stand in the office. Not coming back here.

(I had no idea I'd even need one, and I think he noticed how new this whole "storage" thing was to me immeadiately.) We kept our couch in a unit for four days past one month (which was very reasonably priced, cheapest in the area I could find). I offered to pay at least a little bit for those four days - he told me no worries, I was taken off the books, just payment for that first month was enough. Very friendly staff, very responsive, and the hours of availability for the unit is great. I had people coming to look at the couch on Sunday afternoon, Thursday evening - not a problem. The facility is gated past a certain time but an easy to use key pad code gets you in. I'd definitely recommend Stadium Storage!

My husband loaded a bunch of things to take over there today, and going to pay when he got there, to find that access to our unit was suspended. It wasn't even two weeks late and I had corresponded with someone by email already. I don't make a habit of late payments for anything, but I've never heard of a company that stops access after 1 late payment. We will be looking to move our business elsewhere as soon as possible.

Boomerang actually charged *less* than what all those delivery services were asking for, and of course they did a careful, professional job, because they actually know how to move furniture. Nathan and Christian got these extra-tall bookcases down a curving flight of stairs, around tight corners in a narrow hallway, through the doorways and into their places without putting a scratch on either the bookcases or the walls.
