They will increase your fees with no notice and they tell you they are able to do so at least twice yearly without any real reason. They only have 2 elevators and only 1 really works. There's always only one way in and one way out. Although there should be 2 entrances/exits, the other exit is always boarded/non-working. There is little to no pest control. I was also sent an email from them stating that the lock to my storage space has mysteriously been broken. No phone call, only one email. RENTER BEWARE!!!

They offered excellent rates, 24 hour access, and very good amenities and service. I moved here specifically to get away from Public Storage. Six months later (as cruel fate would have it) Public Storage bought them out. My rate is now ridiculous (nearly 4x what it was just 2 years ago), the staff leaves at 4:00 pm and the gates lock at 9:00 pm. The bay doors are seldom working as nobody monitors the bay to keep trucks from hitting them. There have been stretches ranging from 2-4 months where the main loading area has limited or no accessibility due to drawn out insurance claims on said consistently broken doors. The elevators are constantly breaking down (I'm on the third floor) often preventing me from conducting business. Yadda Yadda Yadda. This place is a nightmare. Seriously, I cannot urge you strongly enough to rent anywhere but here. This place has held me hostage for far too long and as soon as I am able, I'm outta there forever. While we're at it. Don't rent from any Public Storage location ever. Their location in Laurel (that I moved to this one to get away from) was just as bad. They are the biggest and therefore most soulless and ruthless company in the business. They will start gouging you the second you step through the door. We signed a paper contract when they dropped off the unit, although I don't really remember signing a contract. But then 3.5 years later, they sent us a digital contract and asked us to sign it. But because I don't remember the paper contract, I refused to sign the digital contract. Even though we were paying every month on time for the last four years, they refused to give us one more month with the unit because we refused to sign the contract. Additionally, after returning the unit, my credit card was charged two months in a row, and I had to call the company to get a refund on my credit card. I would recommend the business because the delivery and pickup of the unit was simple. But everything else involved with renting this unit, I don't recommend.

A very large group of people was using all the carts that exist in the facility. Not to move their items up and down the elevator but simply to store. They were mainly women, but there were 4 of them, 3 men and little ole me. I got my things out of there the next day and cancelled my space.
