I was having issues with my sewing machine and FINALLY broke down and took it in. I asked for a sewing machine repair store recommendation on Facebook, and Moore's was recommended to me. I took my machine in and was kindly greeted by a woman who asked what I was coming in for that day. When I showed her a picture of the stitch issue I was having, she plugged my machine in and started at the beginning with re-threading and even replaced my needle that I apparently had in backwards. She tested my machine to ensure the stitch was correct (which it was!) and sent me on my way. She did not charge me for her time, expertise or the needle! She could have very well taken my machine, checked it in to be serviced, and charged me....but she didn't. She had great customer service and I will go back with any future issues and/or services needed! read more

My sewing machine's needle got stuck with a piece of fabric, and a bit of cloth dropped into the cavity. The machine wouldn't move. I found Moore's in the Yalp and called. My mother asked me to write this review, as she said she learned more from them listening to their technician, than in the 50+ years she has been sewing. She brought her Necchi brand sewing machine here for repairs around Christmas time, which understandably is usually a busy time... but they fixed it then and there in about 30 minutes while she waited in the shop, as part of the assessment! Had a Embroidery machine serviced at this location in March 2022. I was told it would take 3 weeks to complete the service. I called after 4 weeks and was told it was not completed and it would be another week or so. I called again on April 14th and was told it was ready, that they had just finished the service. When I picked up the machine, I found the service paperwork indicated it was completed March 31st. My machine sat for 2 weeks but they lied to me about it read more

I had to clean a Dyson vacuum, and inadvertently lost a spring to the cup release. I called Moore's and spoke to Joshua who checked to see if they had the part. They didn't, but said if I came in with the vacuum, he'd check their "spare parts vacuums" to see if he'd find a spring that would work. He not only found a spring, but also installed it as well. I was so grateful for that help, but was doubly blessed when he didn't even charge me! Great customer service and I'd recommend them for vacuum repair! Alona, worker there, has VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE ATTITUDE! Manager Joshua would not return calls for problem with custom ordered plate for sewing machine table. but handled other problems very nicely. Keith was great with customer service. I purchased a sewing table, chair and custom ordered sewing plate for the sewing table, about $2,500. They over charged what was listed, then gave me the wrong item. Joshua refunded me for over charge, and brought me replacement for the right item I ordered. Too many mistakes over a two month period to resolve. I will never shop there again. read more

I came in with a Serger that I was having trouble threading and Joshua helped me. He saw that it was threaded correctly but I was not far enough over on the fabric to engage the cutters. Recently went to Moore's Sewing in Temecula on Ynez to find out why my Elna surger didn't work smoothly. It was gunked up, hadn't been cleaned or oiled properly. You would think that they would have rolled their eyes at me. BUT! they were so nice and fixed it up nicely. I'm happier now, and they did this in a few days. They even gave me some suggestions. Use a better brand thread, who knew? I don't get much time to sew and now I'm ready. As soon as I walked into the showroom I was impressed with how good it smelled, it put me in a nice mood. The service was beyond my expectations. I was ready to buy a new one. Older machines have grease that they don't use anymore. Now, I even took my Bernina machine there due to the fact it is also in need of love. I love the sales guy Keith and the owner. They took the time to explain everything I needed, and I didn't even buy my machines from them originally. Now, I can have some wonderful alone time, sewing with my machines. read more

ABSOLUTELY the BEST in customer service!! I live in Northern VA, outside of Washington DC and was having the hardest time trying to find a sewing machine and serger in stock. I stumbled upon Moore's Sewing from a YouTube search as I was trying to find more information on BabyLock sergers. Not only was I able to located the serger in stock and ready to ship from one of their stores; but the owner, the guy in the YouTube video I watched, actually returned my call the same day to make sure I was taken care of and offered to answer any questions I had. The sales person Joshua was very kind and was able to take care of my transaction over the phone and offered me free shipping to top it off. I ended up calling back to purchase the BabyLock troller for the serger as well. But oh, the EXCEPTIONAL customer service does not stop there! What really blow my mind was when I called the store back to seek help with threading the machine. Mind you, this is my very first sewing machine of any kind and I am a complete novice (actually I purchased a $6000 sewing machine from a local dealer in late September and it is still on backorder - I still have not received it as I write this review). When I tell you I had no idea what I was doing (even after watching several YouTube videos) and was so frustrated from the night before spending hours trying to figure out how to thread the upper and lowers loopers. This young man KEITH agreed to facetime video call with me on his personal phone and spent almost an hour walking me through step by step until I understood how to thread both left and right needles, and the upper and lower loopers! I was so excited, so thankful and soooo appreciative of his patience with me. Moore Sewing has a customer for life, all the way out in the east coast! I visited a few days ago bringing my sewing machine in to have service, I thought I broke the needle and I'm new at using a sewing machine; it helps with my wig business, I've been sewing by hand for 20+years, however, I was greeted by Joshua he had a very pleasant and outgoing personality which was a plus for me! I was in desperate need of repair for my Brother 10 machine. I live a long distance from the store. I drove my machine down to the Temecula store, where I was greeted friendly by the staff. They took down the information for the service technician. What can I say about the service technician (Sam). What a jewel, Sam went above and beyond, my machine had 3 service errors, which he diligently worked on til he was able to resolve the issue. My sewing machine was not sewing right. Fortunately a friend recommended Moore's. My husband and I took the machine in about 20 minutes before closing, expecting to leave it for repair. A sales associate, Keith Shepard, greeted us and after I explained the problem I was having he gave it a look. He not only fixed the problem without me having to leave my machine, but taught me things about it I never knew. I took my Singer sewing machine in because it was jammed and I couldn't figure out how to fix it. I also don't use the machine much except to make repairs from time to time. Josh was very helpful. He found the problem, cleaned it up, gave it some oil and it runs perfectly now. And no charge! He showed me the schedule of classes, many of them free, so I plan to sign up for the one called 'know your machine basics"... I thought that the atmosphere was very welcoming and it looks like a fun place to learn to sew or do other craft projects. read more

If I could give zero stars I would!! I went in to get a credit for an item that was on sale for 50% at the Spring Tech Sale. I was not given the sale price and wanted to keep the item but have the price adjusted. I learned that Josh, the Manager was out sick so a credit could not be given. I then said I'll take a refund then as I was tired of dealing with this, Nope. Employees are not authorized to process refunds. So they called the Corona store as that Manager could process refunds. Then the Corona manager said the item was not 50%. But It was clearly displayed on a 50% off table with other like items. Then she said she couldn't refund me at all that Josh had to do it. So then they call sick Josh at home. He said he can't do it over the phone but will do it on Monday. So I was instructed to leave the item. Ummm, no. This place is SHADY as hell. I was not about to leave the item and then have conveniently "forget" to do the refund or even better yet say I didn't leave the item. I told Josh that I would not do that as I did not trust them at this point. I cannot express my anger and disappointment that they could not process my refund for $15.99 (I would totally understand if I was returning a $5K sewing machine) and then tell me that the item wasn't on sale when it clearly was. I will never buy anything from there EVER again. I did say a few choice words as I left as I've never received such incompetent (non) service in my life. So save yourself some grief and shop elsewhere for sewing machines and vacs. read more

Their machines are the best buy you will find. The people are truly there to help you, even if you are just browsing. I purchased my machine over 15 years ago and took it in today for help with a bobbin problem. I though it would have to be sent out to be repaired. Instead one of the ladies took a look at it herself. The first thing she tried corrected the problem! It is like talking with your favorite neighbor. Oh and while I'm giving out advice, the classes I have tried are sooo much fun and informative. I also recommend their machine cleaning and servicing. The staff is incredibly helpful, polite and knowledge. I find it very difficult to find this quality of service any more. Give them a try. You will be glad you did. read more

Quick update: I called this location in regarding the status of my sewing machine. This would be my 3rd time turning it in for repair (machine was purchased December 2016 ) Again the staff was very rude over the phone and mention that the machine was "serviced but haven't bothered calling or leaving a voice-mail. In the past five years that I have lived here, I have had half a dozen situations that required technical assistance, from the store. Their assistance has been exemplary, on each occasion. In addition any time I have been in the store for purchases, no matter how minor, they have provided such caring customer service . I have complete confidence in their service department, which is very important to me. One of my machines is a very old model and they give it the same attention that is given to my newer machine.
