When I called back to let them know about the chair lift, the man who had apparently taken over said the original quote didn't include packing and updated the quote. I.have paid two deposits now mind you. I found at least 4 empty boxes taped and moved. They charge by the box count and those folks got a nice tip. If only I had paid more attention. Closet and medicine cabinet that we asked specifically to be packed were left untouched, items were put on the floor and left on a book shelf that spanned 2 walls. The movers did not move everything because they didn't pack the truck right. We've made several trips to complete the move. They left hinges off of doors and lost screws to a dresser mirror. They hooked up the washer but left the connection loose to the point of leaking and didn't bother to hook up the dryer at nor did they mention that fact. They also put a recliner back together incorrectly, so it is now a piece of junk. Again these guys got a nice tip. Everyone was friendly enough, just not very thorough. When I called to mention these things he automatically jumped to I was accusing them of stealing and was not very empathetic to my situation and apparently didn't really listen to me and offered nothing to rectify the issue. I had a miserable moving experience with this company. First, they were supposed to bring 5 boxes,…read morea wardrobe and packing tape which they did not. I was told the furniture would be wrapped in moving blankets and plastic so nothing would be harmed. A treadmill set down in the wrong place, and when I asked him to turn it around, it ended up at an angle into the room. It was very difficult for my friend and me to get it into the right place. The recliner was not plugged in and the plug was under the chair, so a friend and I had to move the chair in order to get to the plug and plug it in. Things were left in my old apartment, such as boxes, a folding chair, a router, speakers and other small items. I was moving from one apartment to another in the very same building, so there was no truck involved. Part of my Cpap machine went missing and it took me over a week and $159 to replace it. When I went back upstairs the next day to retrieve all the items they left in my old apartment, the bedroom window was wide open and the toilet seat up, indicating little regard when they were done. The large dresser was still wrapped in plastic (no moving blankets were under the plastic) after they left, and I had not found scissors or a knife yet so I had to peel it with my fingers to get to my clothing and the wrap is still behind the dresser where I stuffed it because I could not move the dresser to unwrap it properly. The two men acted very friendly and charming but did not live up to what was promised. I called the company the next day and asked for some kind of compensation for the errors. All they offered was to send somebody back two days later to pick up the things that were left behind. Because I could not keep the keys to my old apartment, that was not a satisfactory solution. I thought they should have reimbursed me some of the money I spent - $550 to move a 424 square foot apt with no appliances. Promises were not kept. Things were not done as advertised, and I would not encourage using this company. Wendy

I scheduled everything online, and then I heard from Quinn. He was super friendly and went over all the details with me. Their minimum service time is 2 hours, which totally makes sense because they are just that efficient! If they charged by the hour, they'd be in a tough spot. They arrived, moved our appliances, swept up the area, and took boxes and the table to the basement--all in under an hour! They even asked if I needed anything else done. I was blown away by their awesome service! It was a no-brainer to call them again when it was time to bring the appliances back into the kitchen. I reached out, and Zack and Ryan were very quick to give a quote (super reasonable) and they were flexible with their availability with my strange schedule limitations! Overall, I will be looking to book this company again if I need to move again! First off, I was able to schedule over a week in advance easily with these guys. I had some scheduling conflicts for the Friday afternoon they could work me into their schedule, and after telling them this, they said they could do the move at 9 am that day if it worked for my schedule (which it did!). They also ended up getting to my house 15 minutes EARLY which was so helpful and better for them with the weather (it was 100 degrees forecasted for later in the day!). Even with the weather, these guys were super patient and so friendly. They really exceeded my expectations because I've heard some horror stories about movers--not these guys, they are AMAZING. They moved all my things from a first floor apartment to a third floor apartment (with no elevator--I'm so sorry!) with no issues. Everything was in the same shape as when the stuff left my other apartment. We ran into one snaffu (not any fault of theirs but mine!) when my couch couldn't fit up the stairway--they helped me move the couch back to my old apartment so that I could figure out what to do with it! Price - they quoted $150-200 for the job and finished in 45 min, for only $150. No travel fee, no 2 hour minimum - just great service at a great price. 2. Prompt - they showed up right on time. What more can you ask for? 3. Courteous and kind - not only did these gents take great care in moving our furniture, using their own blankets and straps when needed, but they were also super patient and cool while we decided where we wanted everything to end up. 10/10 will call on AJC again for my KC moving needs!
