I would never hire Cole again. The reason is simple: he didn't move us. We were supposed to move…read moretoday, but now we're doing it ourselves. All he did was give excuses. His employee, Devonte, called me at 12:06 PM, telling us he would be here in about 45 minutes. This was after already rescheduling from 10:00 AM due to his trucks having issues caused by the low temperatures. Then, while we were waiting, Devonte called me again at 1:34 PM to say he wouldn't be coming because one of the three helpers we hired had hurt his ankle, and they weren't coming at all. Devonte was extremely rude and disrespectful during the call. I tried calling Cole, left a voicemail, but he never called me back. Instead, he just texted me more excuses. The ironic part? We had furniture deliveries today, and I saw plenty of trucks out and about. Frustrated, I went to U-Haul in Tiffany Springs and rented a truck for less than $50. When I told them what happened, they recommended Dexter from Bunches of Olives. He is now helping us for a very reasonable last-minute price. He has his own truck but gave us an even better deal since we rented a U-Haul. Dexter is the person you want helping you move.

When I called back to let them know about the chair lift, the man who had apparently taken over said the original quote didn't include packing and updated the quote. I.have paid two deposits now mind you. I found at least 4 empty boxes taped and moved. They charge by the box count and those folks got a nice tip. If only I had paid more attention. Closet and medicine cabinet that we asked specifically to be packed were left untouched, items were put on the floor and left on a book shelf that spanned 2 walls. The movers did not move everything because they didn't pack the truck right. We've made several trips to complete the move. They left hinges off of doors and lost screws to a dresser mirror. They hooked up the washer but left the connection loose to the point of leaking and didn't bother to hook up the dryer at nor did they mention that fact. They also put a recliner back together incorrectly, so it is now a piece of junk. Again these guys got a nice tip. Everyone was friendly enough, just not very thorough. When I called to mention these things he automatically jumped to I was accusing them of stealing and was not very empathetic to my situation and apparently didn't really listen to me and offered nothing to rectify the issue. I got several quotes from different moving companies in the area and ultimately felt like Out and In were superior! Boy, was I right! John the ops manager contacted me to confirm details. Then when moving day came, Josh contacted me to let me know how far out they were and eased my mind about getting it done! Josh, Isaac, and Brendan showed up, got familiar with the house, protected all our floors and walls and got straight to work. When they moved me last month they left a truck load of things behind. They also placed many boxes in the wrong rooms even though they were clearly marked basement. I had to pay a handyman to drive 2 hours and retrieve my things sitting in the yard, along with moving boxes to the correct places. I gave this company a rating of 3 at that time, but was told I would be reimbursed for the handyman if I removed the rating. I removed the rating and yet never received a reimbursement check. I called and left a message and received no reply. I plan to post my concerns wherever I can and tell others my experience with Out and In Moving.

I reached out, and Zack and Ryan were very quick to give a quote (super reasonable) and they were flexible with their availability with my strange schedule limitations! Overall, I will be looking to book this company again if I need to move again! First off, I was able to schedule over a week in advance easily with these guys. I had some scheduling conflicts for the Friday afternoon they could work me into their schedule, and after telling them this, they said they could do the move at 9 am that day if it worked for my schedule (which it did!). They also ended up getting to my house 15 minutes EARLY which was so helpful and better for them with the weather (it was 100 degrees forecasted for later in the day!). Even with the weather, these guys were super patient and so friendly. They really exceeded my expectations because I've heard some horror stories about movers--not these guys, they are AMAZING. They moved all my things from a first floor apartment to a third floor apartment (with no elevator--I'm so sorry!) with no issues. Everything was in the same shape as when the stuff left my other apartment. We ran into one snaffu (not any fault of theirs but mine!) when my couch couldn't fit up the stairway--they helped me move the couch back to my old apartment so that I could figure out what to do with it! Not only were they able to work with me on a tentative schedule, they gave me a great price. They showed up on time and had my pod emptied in under two hours.
