Sad to see some bad reviews on Yelp. Based on my experience, this company has changed their…read morepractices and listened to customers. Or I must have gotten the A team! I got several quotes from different moving companies in the area and ultimately felt like Out and In were superior! Boy, was I right! John the ops manager contacted me to confirm details. Then when moving day came, Josh contacted me to let me know how far out they were and eased my mind about getting it done! Josh, Isaac, and Brendan showed up, got familiar with the house, protected all our floors and walls and got straight to work. I was so appreciative of how hard they all worked and cared for our stuff like it was their own. Then we got on the road to our new home (2.5 hours away). They unloaded it in record time and placed everything where we wanted it. I am COMPLETELY blown away by how this company operates. And it truly starts with who they hire. Couldn't have asked for a better experience and would give them 5+ stars across the board. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Missy and Chazz White

I had a miserable moving experience with this company. First, they were supposed to bring 5 boxes,…read morea wardrobe and packing tape which they did not. I was told the furniture would be wrapped in moving blankets and plastic so nothing would be harmed. A treadmill set down in the wrong place, and when I asked him to turn it around, it ended up at an angle into the room. It was very difficult for my friend and me to get it into the right place. The recliner was not plugged in and the plug was under the chair, so a friend and I had to move the chair in order to get to the plug and plug it in. Things were left in my old apartment, such as boxes, a folding chair, a router, speakers and other small items. I was moving from one apartment to another in the very same building, so there was no truck involved. Part of my Cpap machine went missing and it took me over a week and $159 to replace it. When I went back upstairs the next day to retrieve all the items they left in my old apartment, the bedroom window was wide open and the toilet seat up, indicating little regard when they were done. The large dresser was still wrapped in plastic (no moving blankets were under the plastic) after they left, and I had not found scissors or a knife yet so I had to peel it with my fingers to get to my clothing and the wrap is still behind the dresser where I stuffed it because I could not move the dresser to unwrap it properly. The two men acted very friendly and charming but did not live up to what was promised. I called the company the next day and asked for some kind of compensation for the errors. All they offered was to send somebody back two days later to pick up the things that were left behind. Because I could not keep the keys to my old apartment, that was not a satisfactory solution. I thought they should have reimbursed me some of the money I spent - $550 to move a 424 square foot apt with no appliances. Promises were not kept. Things were not done as advertised, and I would not encourage using this company. Wendy

I reached out, and Zack and Ryan were very quick to give a quote (super reasonable) and they were flexible with their availability with my strange schedule limitations! Overall, I will be looking to book this company again if I need to move again! First off, I was able to schedule over a week in advance easily with these guys. I had some scheduling conflicts for the Friday afternoon they could work me into their schedule, and after telling them this, they said they could do the move at 9 am that day if it worked for my schedule (which it did!). They also ended up getting to my house 15 minutes EARLY which was so helpful and better for them with the weather (it was 100 degrees forecasted for later in the day!). Even with the weather, these guys were super patient and so friendly. They really exceeded my expectations because I've heard some horror stories about movers--not these guys, they are AMAZING. They moved all my things from a first floor apartment to a third floor apartment (with no elevator--I'm so sorry!) with no issues. Everything was in the same shape as when the stuff left my other apartment. We ran into one snaffu (not any fault of theirs but mine!) when my couch couldn't fit up the stairway--they helped me move the couch back to my old apartment so that I could figure out what to do with it! Really couldn't have asked for a better group of people to work with. Thanks so much, Zack and Ryan--I cannot state again how amazing this experience was!

Price - they quoted $150-200 for the job and finished in 45 min, for only $150. No travel fee, no 2 hour minimum - just great service at a great price. 2. Prompt - they showed up right on time. What more can you ask for? 3. Courteous and kind - not only did these gents take great care in moving our furniture, using their own blankets and straps when needed, but they were also super patient and cool while we decided where we wanted everything to end up. 10/10 will call on AJC again for my KC moving needs!

Zero Accountability for Major Water Damage…read more We chose MoveFasa because they are a locally owned, family-operated company with great reviews. Unfortunately, our experience has been anything but positive. Josiah came out to provide our initial quote and was very thorough. I specifically asked whether we needed a plumber to disconnect our washing machine and refrigerator. He told us that we did not and that we simply needed to avoid running the washing machine for 12-24 hours before the scheduled move. We followed those instructions. On moving day, one of the movers forcefully turned the washing machine's hot water valve, breaking the pipe in half. This caused water to flood our entire laundry room, main-floor powder room, basement, and basement bathroom. We were left dealing with extensive water damage to our home. A plumber subsequently inspected the damage and provided documentation stating that the pipe was damaged by force and that the break was not caused by an imminent pipe failure. In other words, this was not a situation where an old or failing pipe simply happened to break during the move. The damage was caused by the force applied to the valve by the mover. MoveFasa's claims representative, Rashid, came to our house. He did not introduce himself and walked right past my husband and me. After seeing the damage, he immediately blamed us without providing any evidence or conducting a meaningful investigation. He stated that MoveFasa was not liable and would do nothing to make the situation right. We also spoke with the owner, Jake, and explained that we had chosen MoveFasa because of its reputation as a locally owned family company with outstanding reviews. Unfortunately, he reiterated the same position as the claims representative: MoveFasa was not liable and would do nothing to investigate what happened or determine who was actually at fault. When we told them that we had documentation from a plumber supporting our position, they asked us to email it to them. We did so, and we never received a response. Three days later, however, we received an email threatening to take further action to collect payment for the move if we did not pay. You have time to threaten us over payment, but apparently not enough time to respond to documentation regarding the substantial damage caused to our home. We understand that accidents happen. That is exactly why moving companies carry insurance. When a mover causes significant and negligent damage to a customer's home, the appropriate response should be to investigate the incident, work with the customer, and allow the insurance process to determine responsibility and coverage. Instead, MoveFasa appears to be avoiding the issue entirely because they simply do not want to deal with it. We are not asking for special treatment. We are asking for accountability, a fair investigation, and a willingness to address the damage caused by their employee. Instead, we have been met with blame, dismissal, and zero effort to resolve the situation. The way MoveFasa has handled this situation has been incredibly disappointing. The lack of professionalism and accountability from both the claims representative and the owner is shocking, especially from a company that markets itself as a reputable, family-owned business. I would strongly recommend avoiding this company. If something goes wrong during your move, do not expect them to take responsibility or work with you to make things right. We regret choosing MoveFasa and would not use them again.

Both times, the movers have been kind, gracious, and incredibly efficient. I even got a smaller truck size than I should have (underestimation) and the guys worked diligently to safely pack everything in. Given the 3.5 stories of stairs they were up again in late July, I'm offering extra brownie points! Both times I have hired this company, I have been extremely impressed and genuinely don't think I would work with another company in KC at this point. Their pricing is fair, all four of the movers I've now worked with have been phenomenal, and I recommend Galvan's super highly. Happy moving!

During the move, one of their workers broke my marble serving tray -- a wedding gift -- and initially assured me I'd be reimbursed. Afterward, I was repeatedly met with delays, excuses, and unprofessional messages, including being told to "file a small claims case" rather than them taking responsibility. The item can't be replaced, and their lack of accountability and customer service has been incredibly frustrating. I would strongly caution anyone considering this company -- if something is damaged, you may have a very hard time getting them to make it right.

I needed a…read morelittle bit more time to pack my things because I didn't realize they were going to show up at like 8 AM. I will say they were friendly and they got right to work. They were a young crew of three. They were very friendly to my mom. I was moving out of my mom's place. They gave my mom some recommendations on moving companies which I think might have helped her. Well so the guys went back to their truck for a few minutes but they said they were going to charge me by the minute. They said my move was light and easy. I was literally only moving a few miles away to a one bedroom apartment. Anyways later they just barged in and started moving stuff without my permission. I was almost done packing my things I don't know why they couldn't wait. But I had left everything out including my personal belongings which I shouldn't have done. Later I met them at the new place. They had already started moving my stuff up the steps. So I unlocked the door for them. They asked me where I wanted everything. Well so when they were done he calculated the hours which it was only 2 hours. They wanted $20 tip for each of them which is $60 total. That was added on to the around $640 total. So almost $700 for a quick easy move that took only a couple hours. Then I also noticed that the guy had stole $40 out of my wallet when I had left it out earlier. I realized this when I wanted to tip them. So overall the move was good but they were massively overpriced. Probably would not use them again. EDIT: Hmm so far no charge to my card. Maybe they felt guilty?

I.have paid two deposits now mind you. I found at least 4 empty boxes taped and moved. They charge by the box count and those folks got a nice tip. If only I had paid more attention. Closet and medicine cabinet that we asked specifically to be packed were left untouched, items were put on the floor and left on a book shelf that spanned 2 walls. The movers did not move everything because they didn't pack the truck right. We've made several trips to complete the move. They left hinges off of doors and lost screws to a dresser mirror. They hooked up the washer but left the connection loose to the point of leaking and didn't bother to hook up the dryer at nor did they mention that fact. They also put a recliner back together incorrectly, so it is now a piece of junk. Again these guys got a nice tip. Everyone was friendly enough, just not very thorough. When I called to mention these things he automatically jumped to I was accusing them of stealing and was not very empathetic to my situation and apparently didn't really listen to me and offered nothing to rectify the issue. Very unprofessional!

By the time we caught on, we found ourselves in need of a full kitchen remodel! Before diving into that, though, we had to clear out the appliances. For us, that meant moving a gas stove, refrigerator, freezer, and our kitchen table. Being older folks, we definitely didn't want to tackle this ourselves! After some research, we decided to go with a local gem, 7 Brothers Moving in Olathe, Kansas. Honestly, it was one of the best decisions we could have made. I scheduled everything online, and then I heard from Quinn. He was super friendly and went over all the details with me. Their minimum service time is 2 hours, which totally makes sense because they are just that efficient! If they charged by the hour, they'd be in a tough spot. They arrived, moved our appliances, swept up the area, and took boxes and the table to the basement--all in under an hour! They even asked if I needed anything else done. I was blown away by their awesome service! It was a no-brainer to call them again when it was time to bring the appliances back into the kitchen.
