His employee, Devonte, called me at 12:06 PM, telling us he would be here in about 45 minutes. This was after already rescheduling from 10:00 AM due to his trucks having issues caused by the low temperatures. Then, while we were waiting, Devonte called me again at 1:34 PM to say he wouldn't be coming because one of the three helpers we hired had hurt his ankle, and they weren't coming at all. Devonte was extremely rude and disrespectful during the call. I tried calling Cole, left a voicemail, but he never called me back. Instead, he just texted me more excuses. The ironic part? We had furniture deliveries today, and I saw plenty of trucks out and about. Frustrated, I went to U-Haul in Tiffany Springs and rented a truck for less than $50. When I told them what happened, they recommended Dexter from Bunches of Olives. He is now helping us for a very reasonable last-minute price. He has his own truck but gave us an even better deal since we rented a U-Haul. Dexter is the person you want helping you move.

We are moving into a brand new build with beautiful hardwood floors. They left a large, deep scratch by not properly moving furniture. I had paid for the extra insurance (up to $5000 I was told). The damage is very obvious. The estimated repair cost is $650. They will not give me more than $250 to repair, so after spending thousands of dollars, including extra for insurance (A SCAM) I will now have to pay for the rest of the repair myself. My son has a move coming up and we are looking elsewhere.

We were moving our mother from a small assisted living apt with an elevator. All items were packed, ready to be moved, and furniture was very minimal, no appliances other than a microwave. We were moving her items to a storage unit about 3 miles away. Took the men about 30 min to load, at best. They also moved a smaller storage unit of her items into a larger unit with the items from the apartment, all on same level of storage facility. Total time from start to finish was 2 hours. PRICE/BUSINESS PRACTICE OF OWNER: ZERO STARS!!!! My problem is with the owner, Tom. I had talked with him twice, in detail, regarding the move. I provided a detailed list of what was being moved, including the number of totes, and he even offered to move contents of her smaller unit into the larger unit since it was on same level of storage facility. He quoted $615 for 3 men for 3 hours, the first time, then second time quoted $625 for 3 men for 3 hours, each time stating the price included everything. I inquired about extra fees on top of this charge. (I'd moved my parents twice already within the last 14 mos plus have two cross-country moves as well as a handful of local moves under my belt so I'm well aware of additional fees - fuel, mileage, etc). Each time I was reassured there would be no additional cost. I made a point to ask him about this since I'd read reviews of him overcharging others. I should have known better, but a friend of my mothers recommended and this is who she wanted to go with. Honestly, my dad had just died a month earlier and my mom was being uprooted for the 3rd time in 14 months due to their failing health and I was just ready to have the move over with. When the job was complete, I was presented with a bill for $715.00. I called Tom on the spot and he was rude and kept saying the quote didn't include certain charges - a contradiction from what he quoted me TWICE earlier! When he spoke to the young man taking my payment, I overheard him saying, "charge her this way since she's freaking out about the charge", which ended up being the same amount. Poor Tom, you are just the type of business person that gives decent folks a bad name. When you have someone standing up for themselves regarding what you quoted earlier on two occasions, a person who has moving experience and knows the right questions to ask, your response is to name-call and belittle them to your employees?? Tony who presented the bill and was one of the three men moving, was apologetic. I explained I was a very detail and organized business person and I didn't appreciate the owner's lying and name-calling. Tony apologized again and said this is a frequent complaint he hears from their customers. As someone who works in a career field who has the opportunity to recommend moving services to clients, you will NEVER get a recommendation from myself, my family or friends. BEWARE: If you use this moving service, PLEASE GET A WRITTEN QUOTE OUTLINING ALL FEES UP FRONT SO YOU AREN'T SURPRISED AT TIME TO PAY THE BILL. Owner Tom is friendly and accomodating on the phone, but in the end, be prepared to have him call you names if you question anything about your bill!

I had some scheduling conflicts for the Friday afternoon they could work me into their schedule, and after telling them this, they said they could do the move at 9 am that day if it worked for my schedule (which it did!). They also ended up getting to my house 15 minutes EARLY which was so helpful and better for them with the weather (it was 100 degrees forecasted for later in the day!). Even with the weather, these guys were super patient and so friendly. They really exceeded my expectations because I've heard some horror stories about movers--not these guys, they are AMAZING. They moved all my things from a first floor apartment to a third floor apartment (with no elevator--I'm so sorry!) with no issues. I had a miserable moving experience with this company. First, they were supposed to bring 5 boxes,…read morea wardrobe and packing tape which they did not. I was told the furniture would be wrapped in moving blankets and plastic so nothing would be harmed. A treadmill set down in the wrong place, and when I asked him to turn it around, it ended up at an angle into the room. It was very difficult for my friend and me to get it into the right place. The recliner was not plugged in and the plug was under the chair, so a friend and I had to move the chair in order to get to the plug and plug it in. Things were left in my old apartment, such as boxes, a folding chair, a router, speakers and other small items. I was moving from one apartment to another in the very same building, so there was no truck involved. Part of my Cpap machine went missing and it took me over a week and $159 to replace it. When I went back upstairs the next day to retrieve all the items they left in my old apartment, the bedroom window was wide open and the toilet seat up, indicating little regard when they were done. The large dresser was still wrapped in plastic (no moving blankets were under the plastic) after they left, and I had not found scissors or a knife yet so I had to peel it with my fingers to get to my clothing and the wrap is still behind the dresser where I stuffed it because I could not move the dresser to unwrap it properly. The two men acted very friendly and charming but did not live up to what was promised. I called the company the next day and asked for some kind of compensation for the errors. All they offered was to send somebody back two days later to pick up the things that were left behind. Because I could not keep the keys to my old apartment, that was not a satisfactory solution. I thought they should have reimbursed me some of the money I spent - $550 to move a 424 square foot apt with no appliances. Promises were not kept. Things were not done as advertised, and I would not encourage using this company. Wendy
