I'd never been here before so of course I checked out Yelp reviews ahead of time to get an idea what to expect. I saw many reviewers were disappointed you can't take your own pictures here of the bride in her dresses. They take pictures for you but unless you purchase a dress you don't get them. Anyways I'm ahead of myself! I went with an open mind and we had a great time! We were greeted by Ava and shown to a waiting area until all our party was there. She explained some rules and it did include no pictures but they take them for you we were told. I did take a couple of the inside because it's really beautifully decorated. There are many racks of dresses which my granddaughter went through and put little close pins on the ones she wanted to try on. I believe she was given 5 or 6. We were then taken to a sitting area and given either champagne or non alcoholic drinks. They had little poufs of cotton candy on top we could mix in. This was a fun start to our time and Ava took a picture of us with the bride to be with our drinks. Then she was whisked away by Ava to try on dresses. Long story short my granddaughter fell in love with the first dress (but tried on 5) and said "yes to the dress!" We were so happy and as a finish took one last picture as a group. She was happy with the experience and that's what matters!

Her deep years of experience also really helped coach and guide me through what can typically be a stressful process. From my first fitting, Meranda was completely amicable to my vision, and was always bringing solutions to the problems I had with the dress' original design. The first day I met with her, I told her some of the things I wanted to see first; an adjustment to the neckline so I didn't feel so exposed, the giant bow on the back cut off, and a corset back. The next fitting, the bow was gone, the neckline was changed and the straps adjusted. Meranda works fast, and diligently. She is so supportive, and always makes sure her customer feels valued, heard, and most importantly beautiful in her creations. While I can't post a photo because my wedding is coming up, Meranda made my vision come to life in the best, and most functional way. I am so thankful I was able to work with her. I ended up with quite a collection of great work outfits! Today, I came in again, this time in search of overalls for a halloween costume (and everyday wear, so not an obvious costume). The salesgirls once again went above and beyond, finding the one pair left in the store, and it happened to be my size! I tried them on and they fit absolutely perfect. It was a last minute decision to go to there this evening and I was not really that excited about shopping...that is until I met Jessica, Denice, and Ciara. I seriously could say this is by far one of the most fun times I have had shopping for clothes. First, the customer service was spot on. They never let me have too many items in my hand by consistently, but not annoyingly, asking if I would like them to take the clothes back to the dressing room. While I was browsing, Ciara cunningly was watching my style and types of clothes I was choosing. This enabled her to pick out pieces and ask if I had seen or considered that item. Second, Jessica, Ciara, and Denise even arranged all the items I had chosen into outfits they thought would look well together. It was incredible! They showed me how things could be mixed and matched all by just hanging them up in the changing room! They showed me not only trendy, but sassy ways of thinking about dressing that could work both for casual or business wear. Denice was so knowledgeable about the specifics and ins and outs of clothing. It was clear that not only has she been doing this for a while, but that she has a passion for her work. Lastly, they said they would love it if I would show them all the outfits as I tried them on, so, what the heck! I felt like a little model (LOL)! They were so kind, funny, and honest about everything I tried on. They were there for anything I needed, whether it was to get some advice or to get something in a different size. When I was ready to check out, Jessica had a smile on her face and said she could see that I could not find anything I liked... she is hysterical! I loved Maurices clothes before, but this experience has me sold! I believe this type of customer service really ensures that customers feel at home and as if they are special. I know that I will be back to that store, I mean it was like having my own personal shoppers! ;o) They did a stellar job and I can't wait to go back for some more Spring shopping!
